I brought my 10yo lab mix to Dr Dayna for a check up and the encounter was beyond expectations! My furkid gets a little anxious at vets, as she had a tooth removed years ago and her waking up from anesthesia left a lasting negative image for her when it came to vet visits. However, Ela was totally at ease at Dr Dayna's office. No nervousness; just happy curiosity for the whole exam.

Dr Dayna very clearly knows her stuff and is passionate about the animals she cares for. I absolutely recommend Mountain Peaks Vet for your next critter check-up!

Dr Dayna is a stand out vet. She truly cares about all of her patients and goes above and beyond to take great care of them. My puppy 🐶 Coda just had to have surgery and Dayna made sure she was comfy and answered every question I had as they came up, even during off hours.

These amazing people saved my dog’s life. No joke. I was coming in to Steamboat from out of town and was feeling worried about my dog’s health. Dr. Dayna and her staff treated me so well and Dr. Dayna could instantly tell my pup wasn’t doing great. Even though I had never been into their clinic before, Dr. Dayna was so worried about my dog that she gave me her cell phone number and they scheduled her for an echo ultrasound the very next day (amazing). I didn’t think I’d have to use the cell phone number, but I was wrong. My dog started not being able to breathe that very night, so I called Dr. Dayna at 12:30AM. Not only did Dr. Dayna answer and field my questions, she also met me at her clinic to give my dog an emergency diuretic injection. My dog would have died that night if she hadn’t been so kind to an almost complete stranger. The next day they got it all sorted out, and treated my pup so delicately during the ultrasound. She answered my 1000 questions and they didn’t even charge me for a consultation. Not only am I indebted to her and her clinic for the rest of my life, I am also so glad to have met these kind people. I have to think it was fate, because otherwise my dog would be gone.

Dr. Dayna is absolutely amazing! She is very caring, compassionate, and empathetic. She has taken great care of our sugar gliders and helped us grieve the loss of one of them. 100% recommend. We brought our sugar gliders to her because it's hard to find a vet that will see them but we will be taking all our animals to her from now on.

Dr. Day a and staff are incredible! My 9 month old Lab Mix was sneezing, coughing, runny nose (I've wiped a lot of human noses as a mom and a primary grades teacher, but never a dog's) 😳😝 The staff calmly and gently introduced themselves to my timid-ish Lab. The entire exam was performed in the lobby as we all sat on the floor, with my Lab being very relaxed and Dr. Dayna being unbelievably perceptive as she noted all of the details. Reasonable fee... we'll be recommending her!!

Dr. Dayna is the absolute best vet you could ever ask for! She takes such good care of our dogs and they love visiting her clinic. So reasonably priced, don’t go to any other vet in Steamboat!

Doctor Dayna was there to help me navigate a very scary situation with my pet. She was calming and explained everything to me to help me make the best decision for my pet.

Dr. Dayna is amazing. We just had a 7pm emergency with our puppy on a Saturday night. Dr. Dayna was there right away to help us. She was caring and extremely knowledgable and took the time to explain things to me and help our puppy. I have a very nervous German Shepherd rescue named Ellen who is terrified of people. Before our first vet appointment with Mountain Peaks they allowed us to pop in and hang out at the clinic to warm Ellen up to them. They fed her treats and reassured her for 20 minutes... and it wasn't even our appointment! So excited to be entrusting my dogs to Mountain Peaks! Such empathetic and caring staff!

Best Vet ever! They really love and care for your fur babies, and Dr. D is so knowledgeable, and caring. We have been with Mountain Peaks for 5 years, and couldn't be happier.

Dr. Dana Bailla is the best. We met her at the Animal Healing Center, and were so glad that she opened her own place when they closed. What a wonderful, caring, smart, veterinarian. Our basset hounds love her and her staff.
