Walmart

We liked this Walmart in Steamboat Springs Colorado. It’s centrally located, and only mins away from everything in town. It’s a super center, but on a smaller scale. It’s smaller than the full sized super centers we are used too back east. Aisles are a little smaller, and some aisles weren’t wide enough for two baskets to pass by each other. Prices are about on pare with other Walmart super centers. This is a pricey area to shop in, but this Walmart keeps prices low, at a level to what we all expect at a Walmart. They also have plenty of apparel suited for the cold environment here. So if your planning a trip to Steamboat Springs CO, you don’t have to pack every piece of clothing you own. You can pack the basics and buy needed clothes and boots at Walmart. Something else we liked about this Walmart was their clearance. They had a clearance aisle like all other Walmarts, but we liked that there was clearance all throughout the store. We found some incredible deals. Lol, they had sticks of velvetta cheese clearanced for $1, usually around $7 and didn’t expire to late 2024. We grabbed 20 packs, and took them back home. We use a lot of that cheese, so we saved $120.
Every employee we talked to, was very nice and helpful. It was pretty busy in there, and with smaller aisles; people were polite when having to say excuse me while trying to maneuver our baskets around.
They also have some real Christmas trees outside
for sell.

Shout out to Chad who was helpful and patient as he showed us a handful of lighting options we were looking for. Different lights in different sections. We were surprised to find just what we needed on a special end cap aisle by the pharmacy. The store was organized and there was just a little bit of everything that you may need. Other purchases included a knee brace, truck snow chains, and a car charging port.

Stopped in for packing materials and a few knick knacks. When I met person stocking and told her this Walmart is smaller than my Virginia one she told me (as she walked me to what I was looking for) that this store was one of the smallest the chain operates. Good things can indeed come in small packages, got everything I needed.

Tyler from electronics goes WAY above & beyond for his customers! I work @ T-Mobile & he exceeds expectations when it comes to cell phones especially! This gentleman deserves a raise! 🥰

This Walmart’s associates are the best. With kindness are care is how they interact with customers.. A young man named Chris Freeby is especially good when it comes to customer care. He makes you feel like you are valued as a customer.

Recently visited pharmacy to obtain vaccinations. Martin and Cheryl were most helpful in accommodating us. Also pulled up our insurance information from Walgreens to expedite process. We plan to switch to this Walmart pharmacy for our prescription meds as the staff is so friendly, professional, and efficient.

Stopped in to grab a few things and was pleasantly surprised how clean the store was and the friendliness of the staff. Store also seemed to be relatively well stocked.

Organized and concisely packed. Not so much fluff and fill. Just exactly what we were looking for without needing to walk through miles of isles.

The pharmacy workers are very friendly and easy to work with. I really enjoy the self checkout with the scanning guns that allows me to just scan all the items right in the cart and not have to unload.

Good Old Walmart. It is a shopping and meeting your friends kinda' place.

This pharmacy was an amazingly pleasant experience. I told the pharmacy staff that I destroyed my Thyroid pills in an accident. They immediately responded with a series of questions to assess the situation to see if they could help. The staff started calling my pharmacy and my Doctors office in Austin. Within 15 minutes I had my thyroid medicine ready to go. I was so happy and amazed with this kind of service.

I live in Los Angeles, I have family in Steamboat, the times I have visited my family and I was amazed because the Walmart in Steamboat does not compare to those in Los Angeles,

Nice clean store, stocked with supplies and friendly, helpful staff.

Not a super wal-mart, but very clean and organized. … but beware you must bring your own bag or pay $ .95 for a reusable bag.

I had to go here because I lost my tsa approved keys to fly back home. I was lucky to get the last remaining lock. This location operates their inventory by the seasons meaning that when it is Winter they are fully stocked with during the late Spring and early summer. There is not as much items available.

Love the close out prices., bought a couple of the $5 T's. & Bought 2 lightweight breathable wicking shirts, and 2 pair of athletic shorts with pockets for $45

Great store with friendly personal

Very clean and organized store. Enough customer service helpers to actually get assistance. Refreshing!

Huge shoutout to Ed the cashier. He helped us with the process and also brought some laughs to us (he noticed that my wife was trying to convince me to buy some drinks hahaa)
