O'Neil's Tavern & Grill

My friends and I were visiting from out of town last week for a ski trip, and we had the best night at O'Neils! The service and vibe were 10/10. A few friends may have had one too many, and somehow this little cactus guy made his way home with us from the tavern. We knew we had to return him to your wonderful establishment, but decided to let him join in on our festivities for the day! We're so sorry for taking him, but we promise we made the most of his field trip and returned him safely the next morning. His life may be forever changed.

PS- we named him Enrique.

The manager Mary is fantastic! It’s New Year’s weekend and getting in took a little wait however so worth it! Everything we ordered was great. Not your typical bar food. Homemade food that is excellent. Ask Mary to take you through the menu, she has great recommendations.

Good Irish fare. Had the fish & chips and Shepard's pie. Both were very good. The pub was comfy with beer, wine, and several custom cocktails. Outdoor seating available. Dog friendly. Service was very friendly (Emma) and fast.

We had a GREAT experience at O'Neil's. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was fun and engaging, and the staff was on point.

We asked for drink and entree recommendations from our server and she offered several suggestions, knew details about the preparation, and had a lot to say regarding taste. We went with several of her suggestions and weren't disappointed.

I had the ribeye with sweet potato and asparagus, and it was wonderful. I've never had such tender asparagus, and the steak and potato were perfect. My wife got fish and chips, and the fish was perfectly battered and fried. Everything was great, and we'll absolutely be going back next time we're in Steamboat.

Superb pub, food, drink, and service. Everything you need when coming off the mountain.

Very busy place but super awesome to visit. Nice wide stools to sit on, wide tables, fireplace in the center, and a window to watch the chefs work. Food was very good, some of the best wings I've ever had. Tried a few bites of other dishes and all were amazing!

There was a mistake on the business's end, but the manager went above and beyond to make things right. The staff is super friendly and understanding, and the food was fantastic. Superb experience overall. We will definitely be back again.

Excellent place to hang out. Happy hour deals were fantastic. My husband and I stopped because the place that we were headed was closed. I am so glad that we found this gem. Fish and chips was one of the best that I tasted. The staff were having fun and still attentive to the customers. I wasn't a fan of the cornbread, but my husband liked it. The HUGE pretzel was warm and delicious.

Wonderful gem in a small town. Great service! They even put on the Utah Jazz game for me on a TV at the bar even while the nuggets were playing... They love taking care of their customers!! Great wings too!!!

Enjoyable, busy Irish Pub. Lots of seating and good vibe. The food was good, but not memorable. Good beer selection. Friendly staff that seemed to enjoy their jobs!

Great food! A group of us went and each ordered something different and shared tmfood. Everything everyone ordered tasted amazing. I ordered the smoked salmon sandwich and loved it!

Great irish food and drinks. Arrived during happy hour so we took advantage of the happy hour specials. The pretzel and banger was the tastiest and was so much we couldn't eat the whole thing. Love the atmosphere and watched a game too. Fun night out.

Best jumbo pretzel I’ve ever had in my 29 years of living. I realize that’s not something people typically rave about but let me tell you… it was divine. Had this amazing buttery crust on it with the perfect amount of salt, and came with this somehow creamy coarse ground mustard that was delicious. Can’t get over it.

The wings were surprisingly good also. Friendly staff, nice atmosphere, decent prices. Would absolutely return.

Great sports bar! We came for a World Cup game and they have tons of big TVs. Amazing service by our server Rachael! The spicy bloodys were great and I had the Nashville hot chicken open face sandwich which was fantastic. Not traditional hot chicken but the jalapeño honey and sourdough was so good! Sweet potato fries are sweet and salty and just so delicious! Highly recommend this place for a game or just to drink and have elevated bar food.

The place was crowded but somehow not too noisy. Our server was very attentive and came back many times to make sure everything was perfect. One of our party asked for vegan options and the chef came out to talk to her to make sure everything was okay before preparing it. They bacon wrapped scallops were among the best I've ever had! The New England clam chowder was full of clams and the perfect consistency. The menu had much more than the standard Irish pub options, including some really great sounding salads that we may go back for. A pleasant surprise on a busy night in a crowded resort. We did call to make reservations well ahead of time, things seem to book up quickly here.

It was so fun! Great atmosphere, good service at the bar, and great crowd of people.
Lots of singing and drinking. Its what a mountain bar should be!

Great food, great location, and outstanding service. Our waitress Gail was amazing, checking up on the table often and quick with orders. The food tasted fresh, loved the Mac and cheese and house salad.

Awesome Irish pub in Steamboat. Great place to watch a game or just enjoy a pint. Jake behind the bar was great. The view out of the bar window is hard to beat.

Great food and friendly service! We went during happy hour and enjoyed the food and drink specials. Love that you can see howelsen hill from the patio.

A group of 5 adults, 1 kid, and 2 dogs stopped in for lunch. The location nearby the river was perfect for our Steamboat Springs strolling that day. They had water on the shaded patio in the back for the dogs, great service, and the food was delicious. A couple orders of fish & chips with huge portions, very crispy breading. A couple reubens also were prepared with the corned beef chopped and moist. We would most definitely come back to eat here on another trip to Steamboat.
