Mazzola's Italian Restaurant

Excellent food, service and establishment. Restaurant has a very welcoming feel and the staff are very friendly. Stopped in here with a large group and made reservations for when they opened. Had a sampling of appetizers and tried the Caeser salad and soup of the day as well as some pizza. Everything was excellent with the pizza being the best of all the food. The crust was outstanding and get the fire sauce instead of regular if you like a little more kick on the pizza. Great place to get Italian food for sure.

We enjoyed Mazzola’s so much that we dined twice during our 4 day stay in Steamboat. The restaurant is very comfortable and casual. The staff are friendly and attentive. The food is amazing! The chicken parmesan , bison lasagna, meatballs and mussels were huge hits for us. Prices were commensurate with the quality. Highly recommended.

Hello! This restaurant had outstanding Italian food I got the pesto and had some Alfredo pasta (I highly recommend it). The surrounding was amazing it gave me Italian vibes and looked very nice and fancy. The waiters were very nice and helpful. Overall the experience is amazing and I highly recommend it but it is hard to make a reservation so make sure to do that in advance.

Our server, Nikki was amazing! It was Christmas Eve and super busy, but she took such good care of us! We got an appetizer, two main dishes, and a dessert! The food was amazing, along with the service and atmosphere. Thank you, Nikki. You were amazing!

I had a fantastic dining experience at Mazzola's, the Italian restaurant. The food was not only delicious but also authentically prepared. My husband and I are visiting from out of town and came here at the recommendation of our hotel. It was so good! The portion sizes were very generous and the food was extremely tasty. Lea was taking care of us and she was absolutely lovely, as was the rest of the staff! We left super full and very satisfied. Highly recommend!

Wow, what an incredible experience. Nikki our server was awesome. I have an Epi Pen for a fish allergy but Nikki assured me that there would be no cross contamination and that they take food allergies seriously.

With that hurdle out of the way we asked about the specials and the Tuscan chicken was to die for, bad pun 😂

My wife ordered shrimp 🍤 scampi and she said “I loved it!”

For dessert my wife had 🍮 chocolate pudding with nuts and whipped cream and I had peaches that were purée on top with the crust and whole peaches towards the bottom.

My wife was finished with her dessert while I worked on mine. She did give me 1 bite it was delectable.

The Manager Kate stopped by our table and I told her how wonderful and accommodating Nikki was it went perfectly with the ambiance we felt like family.

Mazzola’s was great. Tasty Italian food, reasonably priced, friendly staff, nice, fun vibe. Several vegetarian options; we ordered a minestrone soup, a salad, a pasta and a pizza. Everything was great, very tasty. They have a full bar, good selection of high quality wines and cocktails. Make a reservation here as the place gets busy.

What a great place! The food seems genuine Italian. It's reasonably priced but you get a lot of food for it. Huge wine selection. I had the bison lasagna which was fantastic. Fed me for two days! Not to mention the meatball appetizer. Two huge meatballs and they're so good. Not to dry and full of flavor. The staff was great and friendly. I will be going there again

Great food and service this week. Waitress was great and very friendly. The Vodka shrimp and Bison Lasagna were outstanding. Loved the Caesar salad also. One of the best meals we had during our annual visit.

Our first meal at our ski vacation at Steamboat. Definitely our best meal of the trip. It's a tiny restaurant. Make sure to make a reservation well in advance, but we were able to go walk in and well worth the wait. Everything we ordered was really good - see pics. Bread costs extra. Everything is a bit pricey.

Came back a year later. Be sure to make reservations early. They are on OpenTable. They are on route for the free Main/Red Line bus from the ski areas.

Loved this place! One of the best meals we had while in town. Perfect spot for a date night dinner or dinner with the family. They give the kids dough to play with while you are waiting for your food..brilliant! Excellent pizza!! Great service. Cool ambiance. Go downstairs and relax in the quiet basement. Family friendly, casual, but upscale Italian dining. All of our food was perfectly prepared. Did I say excellent pizza? Fresh bread. Everything was served hot and timely. Excellent wine selection. Generous portions and prices. Wish we could go back tomorrow.

Another Steamboat staple! Looking for great Italian food? You will find it here. Every time I'm in Steamboat I will eat here. And, yes, it's that good! The service is always on top of it. The owner is very active to ensure your treated well. But, it's the food that brings me back. This is truly a dining experience. Enjoy! ❤

Every bite, of every dish we ordered was absolutely incredible! From apps to entries to drinks and desserts, all was truly *chef's kiss*🤌🏻. (I orderd the fettuccine and oh my gosh, I wanted to lick the plate clean!!) We couldn't have asked for a better greeting from the host, more friendly servers (Ryan G. was without a doubt the best server we've EVER had) and stupendous recommendations for whatever kind of dish your craving! Just a heads up the place was packed; We had an hour wait but when I tell you it was 100% worth it, belive it! Go hungry, leave completely satisfied!😍🤗

By far our favourite restaurant in Steamboat. Down-to-earth, friendly, delicious. An underground space, easy to find. Must try its pizzas and fried calamari. Tips: Do RSVP as wait can be up to 2 hours even on weekdays.

Mazzola’s is a great Italian restaurant with its own excellent touch while paying homage to authentic Italian food.

Some of the uniqueness of Mazzola’s is the building itself - there are two entrances one in the back and the main entrance from Lincoln Avenue. Other uniqueness includes - upon entry there are stairs leading down to the basement level. There was some confusion since there isn’t a host stand but people just waiting to be seated. Seating was very fast.

My group ordered a good variety of dishes and drinks - everyone had a great time and enjoyed the items ordered.

Once seated the atmosphere felt great! Tons of people enjoying the amazing food while there being enough space and attention from the staff to really enjoy everything.

Very pleased with my experience here! My mom and I are visiting from out of town and were both craving pasta. We found Mazzola’s as a top suggestion in Steamboat Springs and made a reservation for that night. All the staff were super friendly! Service was fast and both of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals. If I were a local this would easily be my go to Italian place. Glad I have left overs to enjoy later!

This established restaurant doesn't disappoint if you want excellent Italian food in Steamboat, even if it's just pizza. We had the butternut squash ravioli and the special of the evening that was similar to chicken carbonara. Loved it.

Great food, service and cool basement dining room and bar. Food was great, but a little pricey for Italian food IMO. Serving sizes were large with good and friendly service. Call ahead for reservations
