Creekside Cafe & Grill

We made reservations for this quaint, cozy and busy breakfast spot. Would definitely recommend making reservations as this place was buzzing! We were greeted and seated immediately and only waited a couple of minutes until we were greeted by our very friendly waiter. We ordered our coffee drinks while seriously contemplating what we would eat! So many options! I finally settled on the Have ‘Em Your Way which was delicious and kept me full most of the day! Scrambled eggs, perfectly cooked bacon, country potatoes and homemade raspberry jam! Yum! My friend ordered her favorite Eggs Benedict which she orders every time she is here! They looked amazing and she was very happy with her choice! Would love to come back in the summer for a bite to eat by the creek but sitting inside on a cold winter morning with the warm bricks and lighting, not to mention the rustic atmosphere was also amazing.

We visited Steamboat for a week and we ate here twice. The first time I had the Bohemian crunch & it was delicious - fresh, crisp, and very tasty.

But today we ordered breakfast & it was AMAZING. I ordered the BAT eggs Benedict and it was probably the best Benedict I’ve ever had. The bacon was at least 1/4” thick - crispy on the outside, tender on the inside.

I also had a side of grits - having spent quite a bit of my life in Georgia I’ve had quite a few grits in my life. These were HANDS DOWN the best grits I’ve ever had. So creamy - no butter required! Our server was the bartender and he was also a rock star - very attentive! AAA+++ all around!

Others in my group had the Brisket Biscuit & ‘Have it your way’ - Both said it was delicious. We will definitely be back next year!

Some serious yum happening here! Like the kind of meal I wont forget. I ordered the birria breakfast tacos and EVERYTHING was on point for me…texture, flavor, temperature, ingredients used, plating, preparation. Well done, well done. And the inside is cute, cozy, clean. Whenever I am back visiting my bestie who just moved to Steamboat, I will for sure have this place on our list.

Bring an appetite, arrive early, avoid the rush. Every facet Fantastic. Latte was solid as well.

Best breakfast spot in Steamboat. We try to stop-in multiple times when we are in town. The green chili cheese grits are out of this world. The El Gordo burrito is awesome, but split it!

Get on the waitlist if you can. It was quite busy when we went mid-morning on Sunday.
The local bacon was worth the up charge; it was thick and savory. I would get it again. Banana pancake was yummy too. White Russian coffee was good.
We ate inside. The atmosphere had an urban rustic feel to it. There is outdoor seating next to the little creek that runs by the building. It shares the building with the Laundry restaurant that is run by the same entity, Rex.

Truly loved eating here!

It is off the main strip so don't miss it. I used Google maps to find this gem! 😉

Great atmosphere, chill/quiet vibe, excellent food, and fast service.

Everything we ordered was delicious. Great portions, fresh fruit, and a kid's menu with a nice variety.

We came here for brunch on a beautiful Sunday, and were able to get an outdoor table in the back patio section. My kids loved watching the creek rush by while my wife and I enjoyed two of their Bloody Mary variations. We shared the brisket biscuit and rancheros, and both were excellent! While the dishes were large, they weren't overly heavy despite the rich ingredients. The staff was all very friendly and accommodating to our family. A great place to spend a sunny morning or afternoon!

This was a really great breakfast spot. The location is nestled by a calming creek side. There are beautiful flowers planted through the outdoor eating area. The food was really great. I love a true and good Philly Cheesesteak. I ordered the Brisket Philly and I must say it did not disappoint which I was fully expecting it to being this far away from Philly. They even used wiz. (If you know you know). I would definitely make this a spot if your traveling.

Everything was great, service was nice. Waffle was light and puffy, omelette was very big and filling, (unpictured) the eggs Benedict was rich and delicious.

Amazing service! Kylie is amazing and will make your experience perfect! Very fast, super friendly and the food is delicious! This is a must have, even if you’re just driving through Steamboat. I wish I could leave more than 5 stars :)

The service was great with a very courteous hostess and the server made good recommendations. The food came out very quickly and was very good. I'll be coming back here in the future.

One word, wow. Delicious food and drink options plus incredibly hospitable service. The cure-all omelette is perfection and the wafflaughagus was insanely delicious. Definitely worth a try if you’re in town. I will gladly be coming back for seconds during my stay.

What a gem! We randomly found this place on the last day of our steamboat staycation and it was DELICIOUS! Large menu with many dietary options and great/friendly service. Creekside Cafe will be a repeat every time we come to town! (Make a reservation if you have a large party ;)

A local favorite and I can see why! The food!! The view! The friendly staff! I had an omelet without the eggs. I traded the eggs for spinach and onion. I got a delicious scramble. #allergygirl

Was just good - really good. Server was attentive; food was tasty, hot, plentiful, and served in a short time. Prices were in-line with other local restaurants, and the place was cute and quaint. As someone with a background in the service industry, I noted the particular cleverness in which utensils were provided (NOT rolled in a napkin - how nice for the serving staff), and checks were presented - in a Mason/Ball jar. Very unique touch!

We were in the town for couple of days and this was our favorite place for a wonderful delicious breakfast. It was just behind our hotel at a walkable distance. First day we went there, we had to wait for at least 15-20 mins to get a table. There was a decent line, space is quite limited which explain the wait time. But service is fast. Food is very tasty and freshly prepared. We ordered omelette, pancakes and breakfast salad.We loved the atmosphere as well. Their coffee is just awesome. Anyone visiting the place, must give it a try.

Our server Brett was awesome. He was the perfect amount of upbeat and morning person. I don't start functioning until I have coffee and sometimes servers are way to forced and too much in the morning but Brett was enthusiastic without being too much. He also suggested the fat alley hot sauce which is now my go hot sauce.

The Wafflelaughagus is definitely worth trying. The malt waffle is more savory than sweet and makes a great base for the sausage gravy, eggs, cheese, and meat.

The green chili grits are a real good southwestern spin on grits.

This was the best place to eat breakfast in downtown steamboat springs. They have a great variety and the food is delicious! Recommend making a reservation if you’re eating here on the weekends because it can get quite full. Highly recommend this place as your go to breakfast spot.
