Taco Cabo

from what we ordered, I recommend the beef tongue, and beef strips. Personally the ground beef isn’t tasty as I expected. Hard to describe. The beef with fries is also well tasty! The drink is good as well! Great restaurant! Would recommend!

We had so much fun at Taco Cabo yesterday! My friends and I were visiting for a birthday before we hit the hot springs. It was pretty busy but we were able to find great outdoor seating in front of the restaurant. We happened to be there while the owner, Kent, was there and It was a pleasure to meet him. He even shared some of his homemade bread with us! The tacos were delicious, so were the mezcal margs. Overall, a very nice experience and I can’t wait to come back!

Awesome little spot, authentic food, we had a big group and we basically ordered everything on the menu and everyone was stoked on the food. Grab a tequila at the bar while you wait, service was fast, owner baked fresh sourdough in the am too!

Awesome patio! Loved the tacos. I attended a great event here put on by Moots. Service was wonderful. Outdoor space hugging the Yampa River is SPECTACULAR.

Wow! Really delicious street tacos with very generous fillings and toppings and probably the best horchata I’ve ever had. Will be back for sure!

BEST place in Steamboat for authentic Mexican tacos. Chicken fajita tacos have red bell instead of tomato ❤❤❤

They also serve tamales, jarritos and desserts like churros.

Price is gonna be slightly more than your typical taco place and be willing to wait longer than expected for your food during lunch hour but trust you’ll get tasty, high quality food. The back patio seating area by the river was so pleasantly refreshing. Makes the extra $ you paying for the tacos totally worth it!

Our party of 8 was extremely impressed with the quality of delicious food! Taco Cabo is small and laid back and managed our large group (indoors during a snowstorm) excellently. Everything was delicious and fresh from the chips to dessert! They also make some homemade breads and we purchased one of their fantastic baguettes to-go. SO good! Definitely add a visit (or three) to Taco Cabo while you are in Steamboat Springs!

Our mixed drinks were delicious, loved the back patio view. Queso is to die for! I would recommend indoor seating if you’re not too keen for sitting my the cold river front. :)

Great riverside food and the bar is first class! Nice seating area that even includes a beach! Decent prices for the area is located so good for family’s.

Absolutely totally love this place. A favorite of the locals who eat her all the time. It’s right on the river I love it and you can listen to the water as you eat.

Authentic Mexican cuisine made by authentic Hispanic staff and cooks. Loved the taste!

I love Taco Cabo for the great food and atmosphere. We tend to stop in after a long soak at strawberry hot springs. The laid-back setting is perfect for an afternoon chill by the Yampa. it’s family-friendly and no matter what you order it will be good! I had the chicken burrito bowl to-go last time but I prefer to eat in!

The food was fantastic. Saturday & Sunday breakfast burritos you can’t miss out on. These are packed with local ingredients from the owner’s friends. The owner gifted us the BEST buttermilk biscuit I’ve ever had (coming from a southern gal). The food here is made with love.

While we didn't order anything crazy off the menu the food was very solid. Chips and salsa were delicious and so were the steak tacos and steak quesadilla.

The service was great they have a ton of employees which is nice to see so you can actually get service when you need something. Definitely will be back given the opportunity.

My husband and I LOVE this place! The owner has been there to greet us every time we’ve visited and the food is fantastic. The ambiance can’t be beat.

This little eatery is a gem! Best Chili Rellonos plate I have ever eaten. Service is quick and kind, food is fresh and locally made. Family owned and operated.

It's right off the CO River, it's so beautiful. When you come here, you're not paying for the food, you're paying for the ambiance; the people who work here look like they're working hard and want to make all their customers happy. I don't come here for the food (small serving size), Nobody comes here for the food, everyone comes for the party.

Incredible food and the quintessential Steamboat atmosphere! Scratch ingredients and amazing flavors at Taco Cabo! We have been enjoying breakfast, lunch, happy hour and dinner here for years. The fresh squeezed margs at happy hour by the river are to die for. The chorizo breakfast tacos will start your day on the right foot! The flavors here in the food and drinks are the best in town. They also have live music often!
