Johnny B Good's Diner

I used to come to Johnny B’s in the early 2000s when I attended Colorado Mountain College and had one of those grilled cheese sandwiches that are just perfect. I came back to Steamboat today (Feb 2024) and was SO ecstatic that everything is just how I remembered it. The food is still just as delicious and is so reasonably priced. I got the grilled cheese with a cup of chicken corn chowder and a mimosa. My friend got the adult root beer float and a Reuben and we got her daughter the children’s Mac n cheese. The total came to $51.00. Our waiter Rob was extremely kind and very on top of everything. He was very attentive to the kids and Madeira experience awesome. Definitely recommend this restaurant anytime you are in Steamboat.

Went on the Thursday night of Christmas week. Had fish sandwich special (fantastic) daughter had grilled cheese and said it was as good as when she was institutionalized.

Started with chicken fried steak bites that we dipped in gravy (wonderful).

Finished it off with brownie and ice cream for two.

Staff was super nice, good old tunes, and a warm diner to hang out at.

Come here and eat. We were so comfortable.

Great atmosphere! The milk shakes are the real deal. Every is having a great time. An absolute gem.

Perfect place to enjoy a yummy burger after a long day of skiing, I got the Avo-Rama veggie burger and it was fantastic! Lots of cool decorations and our waiter was super attentive and friendly. Also, the prices are pretty affordable for Steamboat, I will definitely return next time I am in the area!

Great retro diner in the heart of Steamboat Springs. My personal favorite is the Chicken Fried Steak! -Mountain Man Deluxe breakfast or the dinner version with mashed potatoes and gravy. Either way it's a WIN!
Perfect setting for anyone. They've even got Milkshakes and Malts and a bar with barstools to really give you that old fashioned experience.

French dip was on point. The eggs in the Benedicts were over cooked but the hollandaise was great. Fab milkshakes!! Great service and fun decor. Will return next year.

Wonderful experience at the Diner! The restaurant is absolutely amazing with all the decorations and style, my food was also delicious and super fast service! Would come again!

Excellent food and atmosphere. We felt like we were in an old time American diner. Milk shakes were great!

Stopped in for breakfast on a Sat morning. Got seated right away, and our waitress was very friendly and attentive. The interior is a throwback to 50s culture with plenty of Marilyn, Elvis, and other memorabilia adorning the walls. I got the burrito and it was excellent. I didn't need to eat again the rest of the day! Next time I'll have to try some of their pies because those sounded awesome.

This place is where my boyfriend and I LOVED to go for date nights and to take friends. The food is delicious and the milkshakes truly bring the boys to the yard. The staff was always so friendly and personable. 11/10 I recommend this place to all. I miss you, Johnny Bs. I will be back for more one day. ♥

My granddaughter's first milk shake, there is no better place to start!!!

I had an excellent Reuben sandwich with marbled rye -it was delicious! Furthermore, my children thoroughly enjoyed their meals. The wait staff was very friendly and were great when my kids. Finally, the shakes were to die for after hiking in a hot day.

We were new in town. Just on vacation. We walked up and down looking for some dinner. We were not disappointed at Johnnie's. I enjoyed the fish and chips with onion rings and my wife ordered a cup of chowder and a French dip sandwich. All was excellent. What really made our day was the staff. Our waiter was great and the gal behind the counter was super nice and made us two super shakes. Thank you!

Just had one of my favorite things I've had in recent memory... the "El Hombre" it's a chicken fried steak with a layer of Shredded cheddar cheese, 2 over easy eggs stacked on top and smothered with chili verde!!! It was on point!!

This is a Diner! Great food, variety and fun. They have pick-up, take-out and plenty of seating (although peak season may add a wait).
Probably one of the more affordable choices in a town full of $25 burgers (fries, extra).
We would come back here, next trip.

Did a late lunch here and had a mix of breakfast and lunch items - the place is nicely themed and the staff was friendly! The food was very good well prepared diner fare, just what we were looking for!

Went to steamboat for a week and I swear I ate here all 7 days! Mike was fantastic. I wish I had one here back in Dallas. Best burger I’ve ever had in my entire life. Mike took care of us like family everytime we came in. I know when I go back this is my first stop. Even before heading back to Dallas I had to grab a milkshake at 9 am! Thank you for everything and go Red Sox lol
