Dr. Leslie A. Ahlmeyer, MD

Dr. Ahlmeyer delivered all three of my children, one was an emergency C-section, one a regular C-section and one a vaginal delivery. She is an unbelievably good doctor. Calm under pressure during a very high stress emergency premature delivery, but what I love most about Dr. Ahlmeyer is how sassy and funny and matter of fact she is. She gives it to you straight. I’ve seen her for three decades and highly recommend her!

Dr. Ahlmeyer is among the most compassionate, knowledgeable, and attentive physicians I have ever met. She listened to my concerns, treated me like a well-informed adult (something other ob/gyn docs have not done), explained all the details of my procedure, and thoroughly answered all my questions. Her staff are courteous and professional, and I always feel comfortable at her office.

Dr. Ahlmeyer is a compassionate, skilled doctor. I have been seeing her for decades and always am impressed with the time she takes just for me. She has never failed to impress and never failed to help me with any medical issues I might have had. A professional in every sense. In my book, there is none better.

Dr Ahlmeyer is the absolute best! After 24+ years, I am sad to leave the Yampa Valley as her patient.

I showed up and knowing I was self pay she charges me 500$ for an office visit and 300$ for an ultrasound. The 300 I understand the 500 was ridiculous for her to ask me why I waited so long for care..hmm could be your price?? I do have insurance now and will gladly find someone with a better bedside manner. So rude.

My experience with Dr. Ahlmeyer was awkward at best. She walked in on me changing because she didn’t knock, and then told me I should’ve been facing away from the door. Bedside manner was awkward, beyond the normal awkwardness of a gyno. She’s not unkind, but I believe that tact is important in this line of work. I would recommend standing in front of the door and holding it closed until you are dressed because she didn’t knock on my second appointment with her as well.
