Great food. Service is amazing. They food and alcohol are priced so reasonable. I just love the ambience. Big fan of their blackened salmon. Definitely a much visit restaurant. Parking should not be an issue, they have ample space.

Excellent food! The free chips and salsa they give you is phenomenal! Great flavor and fresh! The queso appetizer and gumbo are on point. I tried the black bean/corn empanadas for my entree and it was bursting with flavor. I highly recommend this place not only for the food but on a busy Saturday they brought out the food in a timely manner.

Really Amazing food and super nice staff. We loved it. Beef Quesadilla is spectacular and you have to order pastelitos.
We are definitely coming back!

Great empanadas! I loved the half and half fajitas. The main room is very loud, but festive. Fun place for a group to come. They are open for lunch Friday to Sunday.

Excellent food, well portioned, and fast and friendly service. I came at noon on a Saturday and found plenty of parking. I was greeted when I entered and promptly seated. The server provided me with recommendations when I asked, and I ultimately went with her choice, the beef fajitas. The food came swiftly, and everything tasted very nice. I came here on a recommendation and I am glad I did. I now recommend it to you too!

Came in and was delightfully air conditioned considering it was 100 degrees outside. The music was loud, but not too loud to have a decent conversation. The complimentary chips and salsa were good. The chips were freshly made and the salsa was slightly spicy. The queso was also pretty good, very thick. I had the chicken enchiladas and it was delicious. The rice and beans on the side were perfectly seasoned. My friends had the salmon tacos and the shrimp tacos. Both were reportedly delicious. I got food to go because it was so cheap and good. Definitely will go again. Side note, the cups were huge, which I loved.

Amazing vibe and amazing food! Complementary nachos and bottomless sodas! The prawn tacos were super super good and I would definitely definitely recommend it! Great service and friendly staff!

Excellent place for Mexican food and drinks. More than 100 guests can be seated at a time. Reservations are required. The restaurant was pretty busy and filled with guests enjoying the weekend. Plenty of parking space available including for differently abled people. Covid19 protocol strictly followed. Masks are compulsory. Sanitisers kept in handy. Colourful interior decorations. Good music 🎶 too. Food was tasty. They should have more varieties of drinks and beer too. Excellent service by the staff and they were all wearing white top shirts and dark trousers. Quick service. Rest rooms are there separately for men and women. There's a separate bar where one can sit and enjoy. Cubicle seating arrangements are also available. Wheelchair parking and access to the hotel is there. Surprisingly the restaurant takes the last order at 9.30 pm even though we went on Friday i.e., beginning of the weekend. Kids menu is also there. Vegetarian food has limited options. There was provision for outdoor seating also.

This was my first time trying Border Cafe, but I have been told it’s a great spot to stop for a bite to eat. There was a short wait, but on a Friday night during a dinner rush - we gladly waited 20 minutes for a seat. The food arrived piping hot and the dim lighting made it a great casual date night spot. We also had enough leftovers to make 2 more meals. We will be back - especially since my boyfriend can’t stop talking about the gumbo!

Great meet-up spot for after work margaritas. Looks exactly like you think on the inside.

A Tex-Mex & Cajun restaurant.

Small menu but that is a good sign of the kitchen staff's concentration on making excellent items from said small menu.

The staff is great. You can even ask for a whole jalapeño on the side to add.

I went for dinner on a Thursday night with a friend. It was not crowded. We had great service from our waiter and the food was delicious. Free, warm tortilla chips with salsa were a nice start. I had salmon tacos that were delicious and my house margarita was also good.

Discovered this place years ago in college and loved it. Still a really fun, delicious place to meet and catch up with friends over their amazing Fajitas. It's a fiesta every night at Border... you'll love it!

You can’t go wrong with Borders Cafe. Great atmosphere, amazing margaritas, yummy food and service. Not to mention the prices are great. One thing that we miss is the swordfish tacos, which are off the menu now ☹

We love going there.

Love having lunch here on Fridays. Service is prompt, food is good, and fun Texas/Cajun atmosphere. Prices are a little high, but you get a lot of food and prices are high everywhere.

Consistency. As someone who has been to every Border location, I've always been impressed by the quality food and reliable experience. The food is delicious, reasonably priced, and the staff is always friendly. I love coming to any of the Borders whenever I can, and am a loyal customer! Beef Burro for the win! Also, I was very impressed how they've managed COVID precautions, go Border!!

We had a big party and were seated quickly. Service was fast and food was very good. Restrooms were clean.

Edit 4 years later: upgrade to 5 stars because they just have such great food and prices, and they added a to go option which I love.

Pretty weird that we got two round tables and one square table pushed together for our party of 14.

They have a much more limited menu after Covid, but this place is still great. They serve a substantial amount of chips and salsa that are always nice and warm. In the past couple times I've gone, the service has been great and very attentive. Their gumbo and marinated meats are also very well done.

My first time at the Border Cafe. There wasn't much crowd when we entered, less than one thirds of the main floor was occupied. We were ushered into our table swiftly. A couple of minutes later, our drinks order was taken and we got a basket full of fresh tortilla chips with salsa. Those just be right out of the stove. They looked, smelt and tasted delicious. We got our drinks (I got the lemonade) and the food order was taken down. I ordered the Eggplant St Charles and a side of shoestring fries. The server offered to substitute the fries in place of rice and beans but I insisted the fries be a separate side by itself ( bad choice.. more on that later). We were almost through with the chips basket and had to forcefully keep the basket so that we have some space in our stomachs for our entrees. First, the Eggplant St Charles - it was wonderful. The eggplant was fried crisply and the cheese on it just made the dish more yummier. Simply loved it. I didn't touch the rice, beans and the corn cake. The culprit - the shoestring fries. This was the best fries I've ever had, period. Each one of the fry was evenly crisp. Eating fries won't ever be the same for me. So, about the bad choice, if only I had headed to my server's suggestion, I'd have not needed the doggy bag to take home the rice/beans/cake and a piece of the eggplant. A very sumptuous meal and at a reasonable price too (lemonade was $3, eggplant was $8 and fries $2). The decor was good as well. Couple of gripes, (1) the tables are spaced close to each other and there was a noisy neighbor in our next table shouting the entire time we were there, & (2) there are a lot of good art works hung around but a lot of them are partially hidden by the placement of tables and chairs.

Overall, excellent food, but our ears were ringing thanks to our neighbor. The fries are to die for.

had such a good time here. went in for a quick meal because I was starving and grabbed a seat at the bar. the bartender was very nice and got my order quickly. I had gotten the combo chicken and steak fajitas and it was a ton of food. I was very pleasantly surprised. it was all tasty and a had a good amount to take him. will be back
