Tatte Bakery & Cafe | Harvard Square

A bit of a splurge calorie wise and budget wise but always happy I indulge when I do. The drip coffee at 9am a is hot and freshly brewed and strong enough to still be good when I top it with milk. Recommend lots of menu items as well as every baked food I’ve tried. Today was almond croissant and it was perfect. Not too sweet and texture of crispy and soft was just how I like it. Recommend.

Beautiful and spacious coffee shop with lots of natural lighting to catch up, read, or study! It is a bit crowded but still enjoyable and the matcha was really good! The service was really fast despite how busy it was too which was much appreciated!

BUSY BUSY BUSY! Right across the university but oh so worth it. Their iced house latte revitalized my taste buds and the food was SLAMMIN. they have a lox type sandwich and they also got one that’s short rib and you can’t go wrong with either. This cafe is very special and I wish Rutgers University had a care this exquisite

Had a delicious breakfast sandwich and great coffee. Great food. The pastry and sweet selection is amazing. Definitely pop in, you won’t be disappointed!

Definitely check out this place if you’re by the area. I wasn’t able to try their brunch menu but I did get some pastries and the pistachio croissant was oh so delicious. The staff were very friendly and helpful when recommending what to get.

So many yummy and tasty options including specialty espresso drinks. One of my favorite café chains in Boston to visit for a wide variety of breakfast and lunch options.

Tatte Bakery was a new discovery for us and we fell in love! Love the concept of this place, the vibe and food was beyond expectations, generous portions and absolutely delicious! Haven’t tried the pastries but they looked amazing, coffee was very good too. Ordered a zucchini soup (very very good), tuna sandwich (only half is seen in pic, fresh and very full), salmon bowl was also excellent. Will be our go to for our next visit to Boston area.

Giving service 4 stars, only because the person taking our order had an annoyed look on her face while we had questions about the food, this being our first time at Tatte and made a few mistakes on our order, but they were an easy fix. Hopefully a one off day. Everyone else seemed great.
Otherwise excellent place if you want a quick coffee stop or to grab something fresh and delicious to eat.

Always delicious - love the pain au chocolat - such a great variety of pastries and sweets. The egg sandwiches are excellent, too!

A Tatte is a Tatte. You know what you're getting into. It's a place with phenomenal vibes and food that feels refined but accessible at the same time.

I got a Linzer cookie which tasted tart and sweet, but a little dry as well. I'm forgetting the name of the menu item, but I also got scrambled eggs on toast with a sort of cheese spread. The cherry tomatoes on the plate really brought it together.

This has been one of the better Tatte Bakeries I've been to. Since it's near Harvard Square, expect perennial lines.

The food was pretty good, it’s super busy when I went so there weren’t a lot of seating available. But there is a second floor so check that out if you don’t find anything of the first floor. The atmosphere is really nice with nice decor and everything, just really busy and a lot of people so it can get pretty crowded.

Tatte was a delight and a super popular spot. I picked up my pie and coffee and found a window seat, which was lovely. I was there on a Friday afternoon and the place was mobbed. I can see why!

The shakshuka was so good! Super busy on a Friday morning, which is to be expected, but overall a fun and tasty experience. The coffee was also yummy.

Great food, very fresh and its not too loud despite the amount of people there. I know they have an upstairs as well but seating can still be difficult to find at times as there are a lot of students studying.

What a vibe! Awesome bakery and cafe with some of the most exquisite pastries and drink varieties. Thankfully, the line wasn’t long and it moved pretty quickly.

We got their Pistachio Cherry Tart, Espresso Mousse and Beet Latte and Cappuccino for drinks. I cannot recommend the tart enough. Hands down, the best I’ve had so far! The beet latte is seasonal, so, go grab it while it’s there. Loved everything here. It’s better to grab and go as it can get pretty hard to find seating.

I can visit Cambridge again just to go to Tatte (and Harvard! of course)!!

The pistachio and cherry tart was incredible. The prosciutto and pear pita was really good but not as good as the tart. If you’re considering stopping here, I’d give it a shot.

I came here because of a friend's recommendation, and I am so happy that I found this gem! To start, the cafe was extremely crowded but the line moved very quickly. The woman taking my order was quick, efficient, and eager to answer any questions I had. I got the raspberry lemon pavlova, iced pistachio latte (made with their housemade pistachio syrup), and the mushroom & squash farro bowl. You pay at the register, and if you are eating in, you get a number for your table. My friend and I had to find a table upstairs, but people left quickly so I didn't see anyone actively waiting for a spot to sit. There are a lot of tables and bar seating available too! Everything was absolutely delicious! I hope I get the opportunity to try it again!

Love the salmon bowl and the atmosphere. The bakery is good but not that mind-blowing level.
