Rex's American Grill & Bar

We stayed at the Holiday Inn. Rex's is connected. We had drinks and breakfast. The staff are super friendly. They have a relaxing place to sit and drink outside. You can also eat in the patio. Inside is decorated well. Seating is comfortable. The food was very tasty, fresh and reasonably priced.

This meal was the. best. restaurant. meal. we. can. remember!!!! The food was absolutely divine, and the service by far exceeded first class. Ben W. served us and he provided an unforgettably welcoming experience. He and his team of coworkers worked together like a well oiled machine, and it is obvious that they care about taking care of each other and their customers. All of this coupled with stellar prices for a mountain resort town left no room to wonder why we found out it is a favorite for many of the local residents.

2) The ‘Shroom Bucket (which started out full) was so good that I forgot to take a picture until it was nearly gone.
3)We subbed in Au Jus Mushrooms for one of our sides, and they were SO GOOD.
4) We swapped halves of an American Dipper sandwich and a “The Jack” burger, and it was a tough call on which one’s flavors were more amazing.

To say this meal was divine is an understatement. What a blessing this was; and we are so thankful we were just tired enough that we chose not to go out for a “fancier” (meaning 2-3 x’s more expensive) meal.

Good spot by hotels on the edge of town. Super friendly service and good food. Good selection at bar for beer. Cry bay hot wings were very tasty, Rex draft beer also hit the spot. Cant remember name of our cute waitresses buy she was so nice and took good care of us. A+

I have visited Rex's since they have opened. Every time I am in town I visit a minimum of 1 time. The Sweet and Sour Steak (large pieces of NY Strip) special I had on 1/31 was the best meal I have had. Great job! The only negative I have is $18 for a double Tito's and OJ is outrageous. Wish I would have known before I saw $48 dollars for 3 drinks. CRAZY !!!!

We had another restaurant in our GPS and for some reason we decided to come here instead, and I'm so glad we did! Anna the bartender was so nice and helpful. We had a lot of food and it was all so good. We left with 2 to go boxes and still got dessert to go because we figured if the dinner was so good the dessert wouldn't disappoint either and it didnt! Next time we are in town we will definitely be back.

Nice little bar for a Holiday Inn connection. We did not eat a meal here, but had a few drinks and a appetizer. Nice friendly service

Fantastic food and service. Our server Brittany was super efficient, nice and helpful. Burgers are amazing, and the signature meal is the chicken fried chicken. Oh yeah, brownie sundae was huge, shared by 4 of us. Odd that it's actually in the Holiday Inn, but it's a hidden gem of a dinner spot.

Ordered Breakfast. The food was fresh and awesome. The biscuit gravy was seasoned well and delicious. Service was friendly and fast!

Everyone agreed the food was really good, my wife said the salmon was fantastic. But more than anything yhe service was outstanding. Rex's is definitely better than most hotel restaurants.

Great place! We were up to Steamboat for a Hockey tournament..The food & menus were very good. We had a team dinner too and we got an exceptional service. Shout out to Shannon for handling this admirably... And with a great smile and sense of humor...

The bang bang chicken salad and the falafel plate were both amazing. The waiter was amazing with our large group. They have a great outdoor space with bags, seating and live music. Great for kids to be outside and play while eating.

Last week we took my father there for his birthday and had a wonderful time. The food was great as well as the service. I had the green chili as a side and wit was Oh so good. This place is a 10/10 in my book. We will certainly come back in the future.

After traveling for a week on the road for our 40th anniversary and 70th birthdays, my husband and I had lost hope in getting a good meal.
Then we came to Rex's.....connected to the Holiday Inn Express in Steamboat Springs, CO, and had the best food ever! If I could give it one hundred stars, I would! Fabulous seasoning, perfectly cooked food, with a wonderful, friendly managerial staff, and excellent waiters, also! We just kept coming back for the breakfast and dinner! Only tried one other place for a breakfast, that didn't hold a candle to the great food at Rex's! Why go someplace else, when this complete staff, and food is excellent?! I hated leaving Steamboat to go home, because I would be leaving what has become like a family away from home with wonderful food! I recommend this restaurant HIGHLY!

AMAZING experience! We were staying next door at the La Quinta, but it was amazing to know it was walking distance and we didn't have to worry about driving. We come from a small town with nothing but a gas station, so, usually, we want to explore and find good eats that we don't usually get to try, like sushi and foreign food styles, but with the calling of a restaurant next door, it seemed much better to just walk next door. I did some review research and found very positive notes for this place, so we were sold.

We were all glad we decided on Rex's. The customer service, the food, and the atmosphere was all on point. They originally sat us in the dining area, which I understand because we had our 14 year old son, but we asked if we could sit in the bar area and they - without question - said yes and moved us. Cozy in our new spot, our waitress delivered drinks, took our order, and food. She was super attentive. The manager came out and checked on us - even delivered food - and made sure we were taken care of. We told our waitress our kiddo had a nut allergy - especially when we ordered desert - and I told her we were used to the usual nut-hate from the chef, but no, she came back out and said, "The Chef said we can do the brownie and ice cream with chocolate, but he does not recommend the M&Ms and gummy bears because of cross-contamination." Wow, a chef after my own heart! I couldn't believe that much thought went into ensuring my kiddo was safe.

The wing sauce was amazing. The pizza was amazing. The service was amazing. Seriously, an A+ place to visit in Steamboat.

This is a beautiful place! The hostess was very friendly when you walk in. Our server Kenna was literally the nicest person in the world and made us feel right at home and is an exceptional server. You really get your bang for your buck as well as I had a huge burger and like 100 fries brought with it. Thank you for the good experience!

We popped in for happy hour. Nice place with outside seating as well, with a pretty woodside view. We noticed that they had a big lawn for kids to play on, a ping pong table and other lawn games. Very family friendly. We ordered the pizza and tenders. Delicious! We'd definitely be back.

I got the cracker barrel and my boyfriend got the fiesta bowl... BOTH SOOOO GOOD!!
We also had coffee and mimosas. Mimosas had blue berries plopped in, hit the spot perfectly.
The Staff we're very nice and attentive :)

Excellent meal; great service; reasonable prices! Burgers are fantastic; nachos are the best we've had in years. Guacamole different and delicious. Bison Stroganoff is awesome. This is a very good and down to earth restaurant the I would HIGHLY recommend! Also, the drinks were well poured and a good beer list.
