We stayed here several times in the late 70’s. Some of our best memories were made here. Warm and communal feel. Great location. My cousins would ski right off the mountain into the pool!

Incredible place. I'm hesitant to divulge all the lovely details about this spot because I need to book it for next year and if I can't do that because y'all took all the rooms I'm going to be sad. Seriously though, wonderful people work here. They made us feel welcome and at home. Breakfast was delicious and a good variety offered. Great location close to a lot of tourist areas. We never had to drive more than 20 minutes for anything we wanted to do. Rooms were nice with a great view. Laundry on site was awesome. Nice and cozy spot to stay at. 10/10 hidden gem indeed. Great place for the $$

Kinda hidden and you will need GPS to get there but it is a really nice find. Not glamorous or flashy, and not quite rustic but well appointed spacious rooms and a very nice breakfast offering (no powdered egg mix, thank you very much!) It is also really close to all the shops and offer shuttle rides as well. They also offer locally crafted soaps and shampoos for use in the rooms. I visited just after Xmas and they really took care and effort to decorate - really well done. If you don't need fancy, this is a great place to stay.

This Inn had such a great feel. It only has between 30-40 rooms so there were never any crowds in the dining area, common areas, or hot tub/pool. However, it still had all the amenities of a larger resort, like frequent shuttles into town and the slopes and a ski gear storage room. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, going above and beyond with accommodations. The tea/coffee and cookies by the fire in the lobby were a great touch too!

This was perfect for our stay. It was small, so it wasn't hard to get from the parking lot to our room. For a family of 4 it was just right. Each kid got a bed and they were in a separate room. The beds were lovely (a little soft, depending on your taste). Very comfortable room. The breakfast had a lot of choices, maybe a little difficult for those with special dietary concerns. The staff was super helpful and friendly. Great little find.

Looks like any other building... until you step inside! It was beautiful and comfortable, and the staff was so accommodating and friendly. The cookies to welcome their guest are made at the Inn's kitchen which adds even more of a welcome. The breakfast wasn't your typical to-go breakfast. They had freshly made sausage burritos, and the croissants which were buttery and sweet. Among other delicious treats. A little more expensive than other places around, but the comfort was worth it!!! Highly recommend!! And will definitely be stopping by the next time we're in town!!

Comfy, well-appointed rooms, free shuttle to ski slopes (5 mins) and town, amazing staff, with 5 star service levels. Great hot tub, pool and sauna. High quality teas and home-made cookies every day. Highly recommended.

My friends and I stayed at this hotel for a girls weekend trip and we had an absolute blast! The location is prefect and right next to the resort offering a free shuttle to guests! Homemade breakfast and coffee delivered to your door in the morning! Private pool, hot tub and sauna with pretty views! Last but not least, the BEST part of this homey hotel is the staff! Marcia is AMAZING!!! I would give this place more than 5 stars if I could!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Inn at Steamboat! The front desk and hotel staff were always friendly and helpful. The shuttle was flexible and an extremely nice perk for getting to the mountain or downtown. The complimentary breakfast was delicious each morning. The room was very clean, spacious and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others!

The Inn is such a hidden gem just moments away from the slopes. We were given great dinner recommendations the night we checked in. Breakfast was hearty and perfect for a busy day of shopping, skiing, or whatever you have planned for the day. The shuttle was able to take us anywhere we needed, and even made a couple of detours for lost gloves and other personalized needs. We had the room next to the front, so we got a little bit of noise when people came in for the night. Otherwise, we thoroughly enjoyed reading by the fire and having an afternoon tea. We were unable to take advantage of the pool, hot tub, and sauna due to personal reasons, but would see guests coming back with smiles after a quick swim. The front desk staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

We will 100% be staying here the next time we come to Steamboat Springs.

Just returned from an amazing trip. Everything about this place felt like home from the comfy beds, shuttle drivers to the front desk staff. Loved the cookies and kids loved the pool and hot tub. Having access to a washer and drier helped a ton. Will for sure be back. On site storage for ski gear also was a lifesaver.

Excellent spot with wonderful service. The breakfast isn't just cereal but burritos, fresh beverages, and other things that were superb. Everything felt clean, comfortable, and like they think of the guest, go figure!

The outdoor hot tub was OPEN and refreshing, as well as the outdoor heated pool. The shuttle service is a real treat rarely waiting more than a few minutes in either direction to get to Steamboat Mountain to ski. It also will take you into the town.

The lounge area is nicely done and I just couldn't have been happier to stay here. It'll be a place I'll revisit for sure.

We wanted a comfy, upscale place in the mountains to spend our 30th anniversary and this was perfect. Huge soft beds, homemade breakfasts, friendly staff, fancy fixtures... It felt like a really nice bed and breakfast. Loved it and will most likely go back.

Our favorite hotel - anywhere. You truly feel like welcome guests here, while supporting a family-run business.

The staff are incredibly kind, the rooms are beautiful.

Included breakfast is hot and delicious, filtered water with citrus is available on both floors, fresh cookies upon check in, a fitness room with sauna, and my favorite is well maintained their outdoor pool is (clean and warm - most pools are so cold only kids can go in) and a hot jacuzzi.

We visit Steamboat 2-3 times a year from Denver and we're regulars here. We were happily surprised with a welcome back greeting package including a bottle of wine, chocolates, and Steamboat Inn mug, and coloring cards with colored pencils for our child, (we also stay here with a baby, this is great place for families and they have a high chair in the breakfast area).

Most lodging is simply a place to sleep and shower and go explore, here spending a day enjoying the room and amenities is part of the vacation.

Location is convenient to town while being in a quiet area. Wonderful value. Highly recommended.

All of the staff we encountered were excellent, especially Bill the shuttle driver. Made for an unforgettable night. Breakfast was great, loved the little breakfast burritos they had. Outdoor pool and hot tub looked nice as well although we did not swim while we were there.

Location. Amenities. Service. Clean. Friendly. Awesome tea selection. Good breakfast. Rob is good people. Parking. Shuttles. Sauna, hot tub, and pool. Very good place to stay in the Summer. Only issue is the ac is weak and it is a bit warm. I bet this place is great in the winter as well. If you are renting a car or driving in great place for parking. Easy access. Would stay here again. Came in for SBTGRVL.

This is a true gem. The location is fantastic --5 minutes to the Steamboat resort. They have a transportation shuttle that is constantly going from the base to the hotel--a very comfortable shuttle that starts at 7:30 am and goes to 9:30 pm. After the slopes shut down the same van is at your disposal for your personal needs--like having a chauffeur and private limo--they would take me to, and pick me up at restaurants and the movie theater. Having the shuttle at your disposal is very valuable ---there is really no Uber, or taxis in Steamboat. There were times that I tried to get an Uber and the app said none available ---I called the hotel--"We will send the shuttle right over for you." One of our party was at a restaurant in the Holiday Inn--Rex's American Grill-- and she called "The Grand Hotel" to ask if their shuttle would pick her up--Nope! The most expensive hotel in town's shuttle service had her stuck--no Ubers--They said that the restaurant was "not on their route". Luckily she was with us and the Inn at Steamboat's shuttle saved the day--and saved me from the huge expense of renting a car.
The rooms are clean, the beds comfortable, and quiet, and the decor is very nice--all of the interior is wood--baseboards, doors, everything is stain grade beautiful wood. Walls are plaster not cheap drywall mud.
One of the best benefits of the hotel is their breakfast. A buffet with Belgium waffles, yogurt, juice, cereal, croissants, eggs, fruit, and much more. The food is all prepared onsite and is delicious--eating in Steamboat is extremely expensive and during the holidays difficult to get in. The breakfast saves you money and time. It is all you can eat. I had a huge balcony with a beautiful view of the mountain. Another benefit of the location is that the hotel is on a side road----Columbine Dr. There is not much vehicular traffic. I stayed at another condo on Village Drive--it was a minute closer to the slopes but I couldn't sleep--I had to listen to every car, and truck going by. This hotel is on a quiet street, tucked away against the mountain --your guaranteed a good night's sleep.

The staff are very sweet and helpful with recommendations for restaurants and shopping. They were very attentive. A lot of the big commercial hotel chains will not clean your room during your stay with the excuse that they are trying to "be green"--not waste resources---they are using the go green to not vacuum, replace dirty towels, or empty the garbage --that may have dinner from two days ago. The Inn at Steamboat's staff cleans your room every day. They also have a washer and dryer if you're running low on clothes.

This is a fantastic hotel, especially for the price--don't consider anywhere else!

Extremely helpful staff! They went above and beyond in accommodating us after a mix up in our reservations (our fault, not theirs). Clean and unassuming but very nice facilities, comfortable beds, and quality food for breakfast. Love this place!!

I was very pleased with the Inn. The staff is super friendly, down to earth people. The shuttle is super convenient. The beds were very comfy and it was very clean. The only issue is that hot water is hard to come by in the mornings when everyone else is showering.
