Trailhead Lodge by Vacasa

The rooms are very nice and clean. The amenities (salt water lap pool, large hot tub, game room...) and location (just below the base of the mountain with easy access to dining, shopping and recreation) are great. The staff is a little rough, and there aren't any services provided (you toss your own garbage, and you can only have two room keys). The view from this 5th floor room, looking south, is really quite nice once you look past the neighborhood below. I honestly wouldn't want a north or west facing room. I would highly recommend this property in the summer and winter because it has A/C (very rare in Steamboat) and has a private gondola to the ski mountain in the winter.

Great location with incredible staff. Better resort access than some places advertised as ski-in/ski-out. The garage parking was perfect but wish they had a partnership with somewhere else for groups with more than one car.

Hands down best place to stay in Steamboat. Rooms are unbelievable, staff are amazing & you have a gondola steps from the building that takes you to the base. Highly recommend and certainly will be back.

Loved 4122! Nicely appointed. Great rain head shower and spa tub. Nice view of the gondola (which was the best part of this place!). Kids loved the game room and we all loved the heated pool and grotto style hot tubs. They made fast friends with a bunch of other kid guests and collectively made a snowboard trail in the back of the property. Staff was great! Great location!

Fabulous room with a view and location is great!! We booked a condo with a living room, Jacuzzi tub, and balcony. It's fully furnished with a gas fireplace and all! It's beautiful and our room faced the mountain, which has great sunset colors on the east side. We didn't use housekeeping services since we wanted privacy but since our condo came with a washer and dryer, it wasn't necessary. The restaurants in the area are easily accessible and pretty good though we did most of the cooking in our kitchen. All in all, it was a beautiful honeymoon because of this place.

Couldn't have been happier. Been coming out to Colorado to ski many years and was able to do Steamboat for some late spring skiing. Facilities and amenities were excellent and the staff went above and beyond with a couple of questions and requests. Being next to the Gondola was as good as the ski in/ski out! Thanks!

An incredible place to stay. Has it's own gondola to the main lift so you avoid traffic driving, bussing even walking in the snow. Full size pool kept at the perfect temperature all winter and 3 hot tubs.

I was here for a social event. The lodge was very nice, arguably too nice for my needs. I was here in the summer. The free city bus stopped within walking distance to the lodge. I think all the rooms (I saw a few of different sizes) had a full kitchen and laundry. It felt like a nice condo. Oh, and the rooms I saw had various games and puzzles in a closet. Just a fun little addition.

Been comming here for 4 years. I do wish the pool was closer to the the door so it isn't that cold but it's good. The gondola is awesome, it's super close to the room/hotel, but it would be nice the add some more carts but it's good. Overall it is Great

We reserved a room with 1 king and a sleeper sofa. It also had a small kitchenette fully stocked with dishes. A large bathroom with shower/tub. There was a balcony on the 5th floor. Plenty of under ground parking, accessed with your room key. They also have a weight room and out door pool and 3 hot tubs. When you check in they give you an armband to access the amenities, but they didn't really watch the pool area as we saw a girl jump the fence to use the hot tub, but its wasent really buisy anyway. Find your room first so you know where to park, there are two elevator's that access the parking garage. The back one might be closer to your room. The property and room were nice and clean, and the employees were friendly and professional. I would definitely recommend this resort to anybody staying here. Also for skiers there's a lift practically on site.

Trailhead is amazing. Fantastic location and mega amenities. Gondola takes you directly to the base. The pool is huge and the three hot tubs are all private from another on different levels. The gym is huge as well.

Great staff. Yeah I can work out! Nice hot tub and right at the ski lift to the ski lift. Rooms are large. Convenient to grocery, town, and the concert hall

Great location at the base of the mountain. Spacious and clean condos, in unit washer and dryer. Great decor. Large pool, three hot tubs and an outdoor grilling area. We highly recommend them!

Great place to stay summer or winter. Gondola right outside. Great views. Well kept rooms. Below ground parking. Wonderful amenities. Had a great time...plan to be back in the winter.

Excellent eminities. Centrally located. Best resort pool & hot tubs. Air conditioning. Even has its own chair lift to the base area for easy access to skiing.

Great location, even for the summer. Would be perfect for skiing because they have a private lift to take you up the mountain. Great pool and barbecue area too.

Wow! what a great place! Super convenient gondola takes you right to gondola Square! 3 hot tubs and pool! Kids loved it!

Great location with safe parking. Accomdations are nice and we'll appointed. Would definitely stay again.
