I was in the Shoe Dept Encore store in Frederick, MD today buying shoes for myself and my son, it's his birthday today. We had a great time shopping, we were assisted by a very nice, friendly and helpful associate her name is Gabby. She took her time helping us, she was patient and kind. I will shop here more often and I highly recommend my family and friends to shop here as well and please ask for Gabby. Thank you Gabby for your help

The selection is wide but the quality is definitely lacking in some of the lesser brands, and some of the more prominent brands seem to have an odd number of noticeable imperfections. However, the price is hard to beat in many cases if one knows where to look. Steer clear of clearance if you need your shoes to be nearly disposable. Do. Not. Eat. The candy. Don't.
