Great place!! The ambiance isn't anything special, but downtown Frederick is. So if it's ambiance you are looking for, go for a walk. Because this place has amazing service and food. Our server was funny and attentive. We got the New York strip, loaded mashers, and broccoli and the pickle back burger patty with fries. The steak was SO perfectly done and flavorful. The loaded mash have ALL the fixings- I could have licked the bowl! The firs came out a bit cold but the patty melt was incredibly good. For dessert we had 2 dessert cocktails that were both fabulous. We also had the crème brûlée and PB pie. I will say I didn't care for the crust of the pie (it was a regular pie crust), so I ate mine without it. But it was so good still!!! It's a layer of PB mousse and a layer of chocolate mousse with a thin layer of chocolate on top. It was the perfect meld of flavors and yet somehow not too sweet!! And for any other not-beer folks like me- don’t let this being a brewery deter you! Their craft cocktails are to die for and they have yummy wines as well. Highly recommend this place!

Brewers Alley is a fun atmosphere that has a (heated) rooftop bar. It was busy on a Saturday night but we got a table fast. For drinks my party ordered sangria and myself, a green tea. I was surprised to see the green tea was on their menu & it ended up being the best I've ever had. We ordered a margherita pizza and pretzel with beer cheese off their late night menu. The pizza was pretty good, very flavorful. The pretzel was warm and soft inside with the beer cheese being very good too, but not as sharp. I would definitely suggest this spot and return again!

Wonderful food, Salmon was on point! The white sauce around the dish really complimented both the samon and the cooked vegetables. 💯

More than deserved 5 stars in everything: service, food, atmosphere... I really enjoy this place. You have two levels, inside and outside place....and the food is very tasty. i recommend this place to 100% .... come and enjoy your conversation and food.

Food and service were great. Been there several times and always happy.
Did notice the stained glass relocated to view the brewery. Nicely done, however, the operating room like LED lighting that washes over into the dining kills the ambiance.

Awesome experience and delicious food. Must visit in Frederick downtown.

Great service. Good ambiance. Good food presentation. Must try foods - Soft and fried Pita bread with creamy crab dip, onion rings. Salmon with couscous and coconut curry shrimp were the other to try out. We loved it. Quantity is perfect.

Entrance faces south, but you have to walk into the alley towards east. Wheel chair accessible entrance, outdoor seating, restrooms are clean.

Will return and recommend it.

Food was delicious! We ordered a cup of Italian Wedding soup it was very good. An order of roasted Brussel sprouts they were so good; but, the jalapeño poppers were the bomb!

My husband ordered the White mushroom pizza which was absolutely phenomenal and I ordered the crispy shrimp tacos which were equally delicious.

The restaurant is clean and we were seated immediately. Our food arrived hot and prepared as ordered. The staff is super friendly.

Huge place usually bustling on weekends. We've been two times since pandemic. Service pretty good. Some food items just okay, couple things took a long time to come out and were lukewarm.
Good beer options. Tip: don't go to a brewery and ask for Coors/Miller Light. Order their beer.
Clam soup was excellent (salty).
Roasted Cauliflower app. has replaced Brussels Sprouts. Cauliflower was fantastic, not breaded and seasoned with capers.
I had the hot dog covered with beanless beef chili. Sounds great, but was just blah. Truffle fries smelled great, but tasted weird. Would not recommend.
Vegetarian wife got a margarita pizza and side of mac-n-cheese. The pizza had great crust, but the tomatoes were thick cut and still raw.
Mac-n-cheese looks great with that crispy crust on top, but had little flavor.

I had the best salad and fries ever! Seriously, the salad was so delicious and tasted so right, I was amazed! The service was great and we sat outside although it was October:) it’s in the middle of all the “downtown action” so the location is great. It’s a large place with multiple seating spaces and a bar area. We loved it! Will be back again!

Great food and great place to gather with others! I’ve never had chicken and waffles before and have always wanted to try them. I’m glad I reserved the experience for here!

We have been here several times over the years and it's always good. We sat at the bar this time very entertaining, Shaun was our server and did very well but all the bar tenders worked very well together! We had the Crab chowder, Turkey wrap and Brownie Sunday, All very good.

Love this place & their outdoor patio with the heaters! Wood fired pizzas always good & good beer selection. Some solid vegetarian options. Service can be a little slow but they're always nice so it's not big deal unless in you're in a rush. Parking downtown is a mess so we always use a garage.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Service was friendly and prompt. The beer was good and the food was excellent. We tried the scotch ale which was exactly as described on their website. I got the muffeleta and sweet potato fries, and my wife got a butternut squash ravioli dish, and both were superb.

Went on a Wednesday night. There was an increasing amount of clients as the evening advanced. A very nice looking establishment. Spacious, large windows, high ceilings, outdoor dining options (patio and roof), indoor dining options (mixed crowd or private party). The staff was wonderful. The atmosphere was very pleasant. My mother and I were both happy with our food selections. I enjoyed the beer, Brown Ale, selected for us (based on our preference for the evening). The food was flavorful, competing with my choice in beer....but a *very* nice ale on its own.

If possible, we will eat here, again.

Thanksgiving reservations at 5:30 pm for my husband and me. New place for both of us. Hostess took our name at 5:15pm and we were seated in the main dining room. Buffet line was long but moved quickly since staff members were serving, not the individual diners. Turkey, prime rib, baked salmon in a creamy sauce were all delicious. I'm not a fan of cornbread stuffing, but have to say it was very tasty. A variety of veggies, including yummy mashed potatoes, rounded out the main course. Shrimp cocktail and salad were available as appetizers. A vast array of desserts included pumpkin pie, cheese cake, cookies, puddings adorned with chocolate and berries, mini cupcakes, brownies, and other sweet offerings I'm sure I missed. Went home very satisfied and very stuffed. A lovely glass of Sauvinon Blanc and an IPA for my husband rounded out the lovely meal! And no dishes to face at home! We will definitely visit again.

We stopped here, our first visit to Frederick, MD to have lunch.

It was a perfect visit.

The restaurant itself is charming, clean and spacious. It was a wonderful environment to dine in.

The service was excellent. The hostess was very friendly and our server Brandi was incredible. Very friendly, quick, responsive, and always making sure our table was cleaned. She did a great job and was a big influence on our positive experience. She made us all feel very welcome.

The food was delicious. Everything was flavorful and hot. The beer was very good too. My only regret was that I wish I could’ve stayed longer to try more of their brews.

Thank-you for a perfect dining experience. Should we find ourselves in Frederick again we will definitely be back.

Note: parking in downtown Frederick is a bit of a challenge. We parked in the garage right around the corner from the restaurant, I believe the garage was on Church St.

Followed my nose this morning at Frederick Fire & Ice and found Brewers Alley serving hot dogs off the grill. The hot dog was amazing! Smothered in Maryland crab dip and old bay seasoned chips. Pure decadence and absolutely delicious.

Since it's so unusual to have 70 degree weather in February I joined the masses and went out for dinner. I chose Brewers Alley for their quiet ambiance on a Tuesday night. Although Tuesdays are taco night specials I decided on a burger with shoestring fries. The burger was well done as I like it but still juicy. To complete my meal I had creme brulee with blueberries and whipped cream. I love my fruit and wished they had added strawberries but it was still delicious. This is a family friendly place for a restaurant and brewery. I haven't had the opportunity to experience the rooftop deck but that's for another visit when warm weather arrives. One plus I want to mention is the hostess knew sign language which I appreciated.

We took our grandson wirh us. They were really very kid friendly. The Christmas decorations were great. It was very busy, yet the service was great. Our dinner was great. We were close to Carroll Park and the evening boat event.

Was there with a large party and a reservation. We were seated very quickly even though it was slammed with people. Our server, Brian, immediately got out drinks and gave us time to situate, answered questions, and basically ran a marathon between tables. I got the Ghost Float, a tasty beer float with ice cream, a chopped salad, and mac n cheese; all were pretty much perfect in every way. One of our party was given the wrong drink, and Brian fixed it immediately, no hassle. Everyone's food was great, it was easy to talk around the table even in the large crowd, the decor was lovely cheeky stained glass. Lighting was just right, chairs were comfy. Would highly recommend a reservation, my good attitude toward Brewer's Alley is shared by quite a large contigency of locals and visitors. The only tricky part is finding parking; everything else is great bang for your buck.
