Regal Westview

I recently visited the Westview Movie Theater in Frederick, MD, following their renovations, and I was thoroughly impressed! The improvements have elevated the already fantastic atmosphere, making it an even better destination for movie enthusiasts.

What truly sets this theater apart, though, is the exceptional staff, especially the manager, David. HE IS THE MAN! His knowledge and dedication as a general manager are evident. David's willingness to go above and beyond in assisting guests adds a personal touch that you rarely find.

My connection to Westview Movie Theater is special – it's where I had my first date, and, six years later, David played a crucial role in helping me with a memorable marriage proposal right there in the theater. This place isn’t just a theater; it's a cornerstone of great memories and community spirit.

I can't recommend Westview Movie Theater enough. Whether you're a movie buff or looking for a pleasant night out, this place won't disappoint!

I want to take a moment to give a big shout out to Regal Westview Theater as well as David, the manager, for allowing my family to “borrow” a theater and help make a perfect wedding proposal come to life. Everyone was so accommodating, and the facilities were clean and well-maintained. I will definitely come back and give this place my business!

The people working here are friendly and extremely helpful. This theatre has a 4D theater which makes the movie going experience so much better. STRONGLY RECOMMEND!
Edit: the new updates to the ticketing system and consession stand makes for much better crowd control and effective distribution of snacks.

Just went here the other day for the first time in a few years, it was completely redone, and really nice. I was pleasantly surprised by how clean it was.

Clean theater! Very great staff! Just went to see Super Mario Bros in 4DX and we all loved it!!! Even if you weren’t a Mario fan the movie would still be great. The 4DX brings the movie to life and is so much fun. There were flashing lights, fog, seat movement, air blowing, scents, mists of water and more. The seats do move around a good bit. I recorded some of the movement just to show a little. My niece and nephew loved it!

The tickets are pricey, but you can also try going on Tuesdays when they have their discount days. Just sign up for their free rewards program and the seats I believe are $16 for the 4DX.

The food Ofcourse is pricey also! Same as any theater though.

With all the fans blowing and extra effects it does get cool in there. We always wear a hoodie and bring a thin throw blanket. I usually am hot but I was actually cold and was glad to have the coat and blanket. Best seats are in the center it seems. We sat in the back but in the future I will definitely sit closer to the screen. The fog is usually blowing around the first few rows.

Overall we had an amazing time. We were in theater 7.

The IMAX theater here is phenomenal, I saw dune part 2 and it was worth every penny to get admission.

We enjoyed national cinema day. I treated all my friends to Spider-Man NWH in 4DX and it was a nice time. Definitely bring a jacket, it's cold due to the fans, but a nice theater. It's bigger than the DC Gallery Place. Still enjoy this place, recently saw John Wick 4 well worth it!

I saw Aquaman 2 there I loved the new look with the great sound and picture quality of the movie and the service was great too.

Great upgrade to seats and spacing, now they need to work on the concession area. Next month I’ll try the 4D experience.

It's a very clean theater. The staff is very friendly and helpful. All smiles. The drinks are cold and the popcorn is nice and buttery.

I like this theater. I highly recommend watching a movie in 4DX. It's a lot of fun. They also have IMAX. There typically isn't much of a wait to get snacks either. They're remodeling and I'm looking forward to seeing how everything turns out

Friends that I went with said it had been remodeled. It was very nice inside, and the actual theater was great. The seats were roomie, spread out, and leaned back. It was very comfortable.

Still under construction, but the staff was super kind and upfront about it. The bathrooms were exceptional, so the completed renovation will turn out great

Nice movie theater with many movie screens. You can buy tickets online, at the entrance kiosk, or at the candy counter. Theater, common areas and restrooms were very clean. Theater seats were standard. Handicap seating is about five rows or so from the front. Both on the left and right of the theater. Room for about four wheelchairs. Theater was light enough to see where you are going. Steps were lighted as well. Sound and screen picture were very good. There is an IMAX theater here too but I have not been in it. Parking and exterior lighting is plenty both at the front and rear of the theater. All areas are handicap accessible. Lots of food places within walking distance or a very short drive of the theater.

Amazing staff 😍🤩 my husband and I went to see Indiana Jones in 4dx which is an experience all on it's own. If you have ever been to Orlando studios and experienced an 3d ride then this is it without the 3d but with all the experience 😁. Definitely worth taking your kids and family

Always nice my favorite sushi place for 2 had combinations in a boat..tempura and soup and salad..

It has been a while since I've been out to a movie theater. This place is big and pretty spacious. The seats were actually very comfortable they were lean back and maneuver a little bit. There's plenty of space in the showing so that wasn't a problem. As you can expect, are you going to buy sodas popcorn or any food you will pay through the nose. Luckily, as the senior - we're able to get the ticket price discounted so that sort of made up for it. All in all, it was a pretty enjoyable evening and we're going to be doing this a little bit more I think. Parking was spacious and well lit and we felt very safe going there. No problem for us to come back.

Beautiful theater! We just moved to Frederick this summer and it was our first time going to the movies. Staff is friendly. The lighting throughout the lobby is cool. Already bought tickets for another movie.
