We bought an Italian designer bed from Arkitektura. The staff was super helpful with showing us options for beds and mattresses. We went there several times before making a decision on the fabric and each time they went above and beyond to help. Ordering was easy. Upon delivery, some assembly instructions were missing - this was the manufacturer's fault, not Arktitektura's - they again did everything they could to timely resolve the matter and make sure that we were happy customers. I would recommend this store to anyone who is looking for high quality furniture with beautiful designs and a staff who knows what they are talking about.

We bought over $100 k of furniture, lamps and rugs from arkitektura. We were treated professionally and they spent many hours making sure our orders were right. These orders cam from factories in Europe (mostly) and the US. There was White glove delivery and great follow up on any delivery issues. Joy and her team are top notch professionals with an incredible selection of products. They also made great, top quality recommendations for our new mid century modern home (which has already won many awards )

This was my first time buying a new-car's worth of furniture in one sale. The in-store experience with Arkitektura was pretty good — lots to sample.

Follow-up was a bit messier than I'd expected at these prices: tossed around multiple employees, some not knowing we'd already paid, etc. I'd have expected more thoughtfulness shopping at a vintage store on Haight.

Arkitektura is awful. They do not know their own merchandise and made critical errors throughout the order process. The result was that the pair of tables I received are very different from what I saw in store and the photos on their website. What I received look like clunky fakes! I paid $3800 including $850 white glove installation and, instead, a truck driver dumped two huge filthy stapled-shut boxes at my front door containing the wrong items. Arkitektura then ghosted me about the white glove installation and so I paid my team another $850 out-of-pocket to do the install. My team opened the boxes and we discovered the ugly, incorrect tables. No wonder Arkitektura dumped the stapled boxes on my front steps.. these aren't even the correct items. Arkitektura dodged my calls about the incorrect tables and then emailed and offered me $365 compensation and claimed the tables are the same as the photos and what I saw in store.. they are absolutely not! They also refused to reimburse my team for the install which they were supposed to do. When I asked them to exchange for the tables I actually saw in store or refund me so I can order elsewhere they ghosted me again. I checked with another store which sells the exact same tables I ordered with Arkitektura and they agreed that Arkitektura sent me the wrong items. How can Arkitektura mess up a simple order for two side tables so badly? On top of this, I waited 6 months to receive the wrong items and then Arkitektura contacted me to "deliver early" by a few weeks, which was impossible for me, and then tried to charge me $150 to "store" the items until the previously-agreed on delivery date which they set. So I'm out $4,650 at this point and have to start my order over with a different store. Do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere.

3 months to fulfill a small, non-custom order, and an extra $150 delivery fee.
