Alamo Drafthouse Cinema New Mission

We love this place! Our third time going and so far so good!! The churro popcorn is awesome. Love how they play clips relevant to the movie you’re seeing. We watched Lisa Frankenstein and wouldn’t have got some of the jokes without seeing the content played beforehand. 10/10 sweet date night spot! Oh, and the season pass is totally worth it!

My favorite movie theater! Come here for the atmosphere and festival movies. It could be hard to seat more than 2 hours because the seats are kinda old fashioned but outside of that - only positive vibes!

Great theater, and you can order from your seats. Super friendly staff and clean auditoriums. They do retro screenings on certain days of the week.

This place was super cool! Do buy your tickets in advance online when I went most movies were sold out (it was Saturday though) and I was lucky that there was one seat left for Teenage mutant ninja turtles 🤣... Anyway I'm from a small city and when I went here I was looking for the section where I can buy food, I couldn't find it so I went inside to sit and watch the movie when I noticed you order your food while you wait for the movie to start. The man who helped me order was very polite! And my drink and pretzel were delicious! I had a great experience here and will definitely come back, service was fast too. I was surprised how well they manage that place, they bring everyone's food and drinks pretty quick. Keep in mind there're several movies playing.

I'm in love with that place. They offer a great experience of movie theater and restaurant at the same time. I love to watch a good movie, drink a good beer, and have the choice to order my dinner during the movie.
They are not like big theaters with super comfortable seats and a big screen with perfect views. But they offer a decent space to accommodate the spectators and the food service. Definitely is my favorite theater in SF.

A beautifully preserved Movie Palace with excellent service and delicious drinks and food. We went to a Sunday brunch and loved it.

My family and I were visiting from Sydney and discovered this cinema by chance. Comfortable seats, with lots of space and ordering food and drinks from the seat was fun for the kids. My daughter ate too much butter popcorn! A very enjoyable experience.

Okay the food here is SO bomb. I've been to dine-in movie theatre's before and the food is always overpriced and underwhelming. I was prepared for mediocre food but kinda had an "it is what it is" attitude about it. Me and my girlfriend ordered the Bacon, Goat Cheese, and Brussel Sprouts Pizza and the Chicken Strips Basket and holy moly... They did not disappoint. Everything was deliciously flavorful, well seasoned, crisp where it needed to be, tender and juicy where you wanted it. And the prices were seriously not bad at all for the city.
Only critique is that I wish it were clearer when buying tickets online where the seats are in relation to the tables in the theater. When we got to the theater we realized that our seats come out while next to each other, didn't share a table. The movie was sold out so this caused some confusion for the server when we wanted to scooch down a seat so we can eat together. It all worked out in the end, someone sitting next to us was down to swap seats, and the server figured it out, but it just seemed like it caused an unnecessary amount of confusion.
Excited to come back here again someday!

Love small theater feel. Food and service are great and give me that old fashion comfort and nostalgic feelings. I can come here alone or with a friend for a special night out.

Getting SERVED food ANYTIME during a movie?!?!? What an idea! The food was good, as well. Made my experience watching The Marvels (loved it!) even better! Wish there was a theater like this in my area.

This cinema is a real neighborhood gem. The atmosphere, the decor, the full service menu, and all the little touches they put really add to the moviegoing experience. You can really get immersed into a movie here.

I thought the staff was very friendly and like ninjas whipping through the aisles, barely noticeable, providing food and refreshments to the patrons as discreet as possible. I watched Once Upon a Time in Hollywood in 70mm film and let me tell you, it was a welcome experience to see film grain again. I really enjoy this theater, the seats are plush, the angles are great, and the vibe that it gives off really make this a place worth visiting.

If you love going to the Cinema, you have to come here. It is the best Cinema I have ever been! Maybe it is small, and seat position is not always the best, but you feel you enter in a place without time for only movie lovers!

This is the place to go if you're a movie fan. The one star reviews are from the people that the policies intend to keep out (movie talkers, people who arrive late, etc). Alamo has a great app that's easy to use which adds to the experience. You walk right to your seat. Customer service is always excellent. Food quality and member perks have gone down in the past few years since the company is struggling a bit but nevertheless Alamo Drafthouse is an excellent experience and a treat to still have around. I love being able to see classic films on the big screen with a cold beer or cocktail and have it be quiet the whole time.

Also Purple Star MD is right down the street so you can also get nice and toasty before your movie. :)

Alamo drafthouse is a fantastic movie theatre and the best that I have been to. They play latest movies as well as old movies. Their collection of old movies is really good and they choose only the best ones, with a wide variety. In addition to movies the alcohol and the food menu is also great! The service is great and they can take your order in between the movie without disturbing anyone. Highly recommended!

Fantastic cinema! Retro design with modern amenities. Seats are very comfortable. Excellent acoustics and viewing angles from almost every seat.

Seeing a movie here is a slightly different experience than an average theater since it is very centered around drinks and food. This is great because the food and drinks selection is unlike any theater I've ever been to - there are all sorts of tasty meals and snacks as well as a robust craft beer menu and all sorts of fantastic other drinks - but I found it can also distract from the movie a little bit. There are also lights underneath every pair of seats that seem to not go out at all throughout the movie which was a bit distracting too. But for me the pros still vastly outweighed the cons and will definitely be coming back here to catch another flick!

Last thing to note: the popcorn is an absolutely enormous serving and probably takes at least 2-3 people to finish it off!

The Alamo Drafthouse Cinema New Mission offers one of the best movie going experiences I have had in ages - a large roomy theater with comfortable seats and excellent food and drink. I can't wait to return!
