I’ve been going to Shoni for over a decade and I don’t let anyone else come near me with scissors. She is really great at any type of cut and has kept up with my style changes. Plus she is just one of the warmest, welcoming, and coolest individuals. I definitely recommend her!

I had a great experience at the Spot Salon. The salon was clean and modern but not intimidating like some of the salons around Austin. My stylist was friendly and experienced. She listened to me when I explained what I wanted and executed both the color and cut beautifully and efficiently. She was a great conversationalist and the time flew by. I was able to get in the same day I called for an appointment which was really convenient and the prices were really affordable. I would recommend The Spot to anyone, male or female. They even do waxing! I am just bummed I didn't find this place 4 years ago when first I moved here.

Shoni does an awesome job on my highlights! She is really good at blending and making the color look natural. I'm so glad she opened up the Spot Salon near my house. My teenage son and daughter also go to her. I trust her and I know she will provide consistent high quality service at every visit!

This place is great! It's like an anti-salon salon, just a chilled, relaxed environment. Shoni (the owner) is a master of color. She gives a great haircut, too. The prices are the most reasonable you will find in the area. If you are looking for a place without all the typical salon BS and just a darn great cut and color you need to go to The Spot Salon!

When it comes to stylists, many of them don't know how to handle my particular needs, however the staff of The Spot has always tuned well into what I need to feel good about myself. They always have amazing attitudes, great customer service and perhaps some of the best skills of any salon in town I have ever been to. I couldn't be happier and will go nowhere else.

Shonie is great!! She is willing to sit with you and figure out exactly what you want and doesn’t give up until it’s perfect! I’ve received several compliments since leaving her salon! The salon is family friendly and very clean. The prices are also extremely reasonable. Highly recommend!!

Take 5 always does a great job on my kids' hair. It's reliable and convenient. More recently, I started getting blow outs from Leah at Take 5. She is incredible! She also does a deep conditioning treatment for me and has taken my hair from damaged/dry/dull to very healthy. I cannot say enough great things about Leah! I normally go to a swanky downtown salon (translate: high price) for all of my hair related services. It's nice to save a little money by getting a few services from Leah to maintain my mane.

Selena is amazing! My two teenage daughters got their hair cut and styled. They asked for a Wolf cut and Selena really showed her skills! They are so happy and want to go back for their next salon experience. Selena is a Rickstar stylist!

The Spot Salon is the best hair salon in ATX! I have some pretty hectic hair, similar to an old English Sheepdog and Shoni does a phenomenal job making me look like a human again!
I know it’s tedious, but she is a rockstar at doing all of my blond foils (I get a full head) and she does a bang up cut and style too. My hair is just past my shoulders so my appointments always take a while, but Shoni makes it very enjoyable with great conversations and a friendly personality.

So happy that I get tonnes of compliments on my hair these days... not the usual “Did you just wake up?” OR hiding my hair under a baseball cap.

I always had great haircuts here. Never any wait. Naomi did a fantastic job on my frizzy, deceptive hair. She had some ideas about why my hair has been breaking, and I had a great time chatting with her. Tried two other salons before settling here.

Want high-end quality without the high-end cost? The Spot Salon is "THE SPOT"! It is a far cry from a head em in, move em out shop. I love this salon. The team here is incredible. Shoni is awesome. I'm one of those people that stylists hate- "just do whatever you want" :) Shoni had a vision and we're getting close to the final version of my style. I've had nothing but compliments on my hair (WOW your hair, not oh you got your hair cut). Shoni was very patient with my daughter, asked what she wanted, and took her time to make sure the cut was perfect. I highly recommend The Spot Salon.

Decided to try The Spot Salon for the first time yesterday for a haircut ... what a great "Spot" ... got the best haircut I have had in years, and for a very fair price. Catie McAllister cut my hair, and I would recommend her and this "Spot" highly!

I am so blessed .... a negative day with one hair stylist lead into the most positive & professional hair experience I’ve have ever had .... not to mention my hair is GORGEOUS!!! Shoni is AMAZING as a stylist & colorist & person. The ladies in this place were Spot on ... super friendly and professional.

Went in to have a hair cut fix. I've always wanted an ombré and asked about it. Shoni did my ombré. I've been told upwards of 3 sessions at $250 a pop for my hair to be able to attain the color I wanted. I had black hair and was asking for pink. Shoni charged me very little for an ombré and took her time, when my hair wouldn't take the pink she put in she had me come back, no charge to put another more intense pink on my hair. I had it done like 6 weeks ago. My color still looks amazing.

I love The Spot! A fun atmosphere and tastefully decorated salon, and very professional. I always recommend Shoni at The Spot whenever I receive compliments on my natural looking hair color. Customer for life! :)

I received a wonderful hair cut from Britney. She was able to take the rather sparse description of what I was looking for in a hair cut and did an amazing job. I received tons of complements at work and at home. I will definitely be going back there.
