Alamo Drafthouse Cinema Lakeline

This is a great theatre!  There's adequate parking for the number of customers in the 8 theaters. The seats are very comfortable.  The temperature is perfect--no sub zero temps inside.
The staff up front have been friendly. One helped me solve a movie pass problem I had. The servers in the theatres have done really good jobs. They move quickly to take care of customers and not interrupt the movies.
The popcorn is very good here, and I'm a huge fan of the boozy milkshakes. Fried pickles just came back, and they taste as good as they used to.
I appreciate that Alamo takes pre-payment method for food and drink. This has made the end of movies very calm.
A highlight of every movie for me is to see who or what is going to tell me to behave in the theatre and, if I don't, what the punishment will be. Godzilla and Michelle Yeoh are my favorites as of this writing.

Great Thai chili wings and fried pickle spears . New frequent members plan is a decently good deal. Except you have to pay fees to book where other loyalty plans don't charge you to use your plan.
My only other issue is that the lighting under tables to see menus is so low Hard for older eyes over 40.

Excellent place to see film. Great food service, they deserve the added service charge and more. Excellent projection for several films I saw there. Most digital theatres I go to are dim and the colors are washed out. It’s depressing. These projectors at Alamo lakeline are bright and all the saturated color is there. Sounds like such a small thing to get right but it ain’t. Very impressive. Thanks Alamo.

It was my first time going here to see any movie and it was retro and wonderful. The prices were very reasonable. The food was fantastic and the staff were very friendly and professional. Highly recommend going if you haven't yet.

Great movie theater! The staff is always friendly and quick with bringing our orders. There are always a lot of fun events for kids and backdrops to take pics in front of.

My only complaint with Alamo is the fee you have to pay when buying tickets online/through the app so we just typically go to the front desk and buy them right before the show.

Always a great experience. Great movies. Attentive staff. Food is great. Love their pizza & avocado toast. Daughter is vegan & she has options.

Updating my review from 2 stars to 5. This Alamo went through a rough patch earlier in the year with mediocre service and food, but I’m happy to report that both the service and food are great again as of November, 2023!

Been coming to this theater since 2017 and Alamo is the best again! No interruptions or phones allowed, no miles of annoying adverts before the show, and lots of good food and drinks. Quick and friendly service.
Can’t ask for much more!

I went here to see the FNAF movie with my friends and had a great time! The videos they played before the previews started were really cool. The servers were also very nice!

The service is awesome. There is a button to push when you are ready to order. They have the menu on the table, and a convenient light under the table. The temperature was ideal, I am usually a cold person in Cinemas, but here I was in shorts and I felt warm enough to enjoy the movie. I highly recommend Alamo Cinema.

The sound on the Barbie movie was absolutely mind-blowing. Was that 9.1 or something more? So perfect! And the service for food & beverages was stellar. Not only steller, but silent... or quiet! Excellent!! So glad we came to this place to watch that movie.

The best in what's Austin movie watching. Keep an eye out for rotating screenings of classics and cool movie nights. Theater opens 30 min before showing and come hungry and ready to drink. Great food and selection and local draft specials. Also the best selection of pre movie entertainment...you never know what to expect and always PG family friendly but oddly Austin

Love Alamo.. have a monthly pass however, I do wish their food offerings felt like you were getting what you paid for but that’s is almost every restaurant or food service.

Awesome theater with excellent service. The tables are bigger here than from other Alamos, so it is perfect for shared meals or snacks. The audience was more into the film, so it made the experience more fun.

Great tasting food and clean theater , excellent service and friendly staff. All alamo locations are a blessing for movie goers.

One of the best Alamo theaters. Seats here are wider, large parking lot. Food and drinks here are good, sometime they have certain movie themed food. For example when Captain Marvel is on, they have a whole menu of Captain Marvel themed food and drinks. Food is ordered before the movie, at your seat. And waiters will bring it to you. It’s a bit challenging to eat in the dark (when the movie is playing).

We went to a special showing of the classic Coraline. The audio effects made it so much better than watching it at home. Tried the fish and chips (crispy) and bottomless popcorn. All great food and service.

Outstanding experience. Really cool food, great service, both classic and art movies available.

I work security and did a private screening event for SXSW in Austin at Alamo S. Lamar location. Took my son to see a movie out at the Alamo Lakeline location. Now it's a Daddy & Son event every month!! A great investment for quality time with my son. Especially over good food an drinks. Thanks ALAMO DRAFTHOUSE!
