ohmygosh! When I say that my pup & I have found the most perfect park, I am definitely not kidding that this is truly the best one around Austin.
5 acres total, three sections for dogs, one for small dogs, two for large dogs. With one of the large dog section accessible to a pond with a fountain to keep the water moving & ramps / sidewalk beach entry points for doggos that are nervous about water. For the pups that love jumping into water, there is a pier for them!! There is ALSO two separate dog washing areas (one for small one for large dogs) if your pup gets muddy.
There are picnic tables outside of the dog park as well as restrooms. Plenty of parking

I loved taking my little man here for some
play time!

They had three (maybe four different parts). There was a small dog area...a big dog area...and then another area that had a swimming hole for the dogs to enjoy.

My little man loved playing with all the other pups and getting a little swim time in! What's better is they have a dog wash area that you can utilize after your dog is done playing for the day and is ready to head home! Remember to bring some
Puppy shampoo and a towel!

Well maintained park. I highly recommend.

This is my dogs favorite dog park. I love it too. There are many areas for both large and small dogs. Several off leash areas. Not to mention wooded areas and a large pond for them to play in. The park is also kept very clean.

i took my 6 month old puppy here and she played her heart out without any incidents. i don’t let her swim due to previous dogs sickness.

My dogs always have a blast here. The park is well maintained and they seem to leave all their troubles at the gate. My dogs are mostly at the pond chasing balls more than anywhere else

i have been taking my darling angel here since it was built. the boy dogs are friendly and they can't help but to want to hump her because she is so beautiful and i don't blame them she is a lovely lady. there is a pond here but it is full of untreated pond water so i do not allow her into it. there is a small dog section and a big dog section but no one feels left out as we are free to mix around areas as long as everyone behaves. a large park

GREATEST DOG PARK ON EARTH!! Adequate parking with public restrooms available, and dogwashes on site. The grounds are well kept with plenty of trash cans & dog bags available. The swimming lake is clean and there are several dog drinking water fountains. All of the dogs & people we met were friendly, and there are a bunch of park benches & shaded seating.

For Austin being such a dog friendly city I've noticed there is a huge lack of enclosed dog parks. That being said Cedar Bark Park is a great place to take your pups. I live in the arboretum area and this was about a 20 min drive but my dogs loved the park it's quite large and has an awesome water feature. Make sure you're wearing something you don't mind getting dirty. Bring a towel and maybe some shampoo because there are washing stations at the entrance. Highly recommend this dog park.

Probably the best dog park in North Austin, this has three separate areas for off-leash play - one for small dogs, one for larger dogs and an area with a small pond for dogs to swim. In addition, it comes with two dog cleaning stations and plenty of trash cans and bags for collecting poop. In my experience, both people and dogs here are very friendly, especially on the small dog side. If you come on a weekend morning you're likely to find at least half a dozen other dogs, sometimes way more.

I love this place! They have three sections 1 for small dogs and two different ones for big dogs, and one of them has a pond where doggies can swin, but it's at your own risk. They close the park on Tuesdays and Fridays 7am to 3pm for maintenance.

I love this place. It's very spacious. Three separate gate for all dogs. One with a pond. They also have a wash hose your dogs squeaky clean. Remember to bring soap or shampoo for them. It's next to Veterans national park. Very beautiful, clean, area.

Ample parking, open play spaces for large and small dogs, a pond, drinking fountains, wash off area, dog waste and first aid kit stations, and helpful signage around the park. Be aware that in the summer the water could have algae present and dogs may become sick from drinking it.

The Cedar Bark park is partitioned into three areas. The small dog section, and two large dog sections.
One large dog area is dry, with no benches, trees, and watering areas throughout. The other large dog section has a very large man-made pond with a fountain in the middle. it also has a pier on one side for dogs who like to jump from high places. The pond itself goes from shallow at the very edges to at least big dog-deep further in. Sorry, but I didn't jump in to test the depth! The pond side has a lot more wide open space, with only a few benches, and the water edge gets very muddy. Dogs love it, but just be prepared of that's the side you choose. There are water feeder stations in several places, and the incoming gates have hose stations to rinse your dog off completely before taking him or her back to your car.
This park stays busy! Lots of parking, and I see lots of dog club meetup groups here too.

Our pups love it here. The pool is awesome, and there’s plenty of shade and parking too. Just about everyone here I’ve encountered - human and canine - has been very nice. We’d go more often if it was closer to us!

Large dog park with a separated dry area and wet area. The man-made Pond had been renovated to be cemented with surrounding rocks to better ensure that your dogs don't become muddy when leaving the pond like it used to be. A nice, raised Pier like area to have your dog jump off as well. Well definitely be coming back again.

This place is amazing! There's separate parts of the park for small dogs and larger dogs. The large dog section is additionally broken up into a part with a pretty big pond for them to swim and splash in, and another part that is separated from the pond area. This way, if you don't want your dog to get wet, you don't have to. In front are a few washing stations that are set up pretty well so you can give your pup they quick bath after playing if you choose. There's plenty of room for dogs to run around and have fun here!
This is right next to Veterans Park, by the way.

This is such a fun place! The water feature is great. There are two main sections, each with some shade (either from trees or shade structures). It's my favorite dog park in the Austin area!

We love cedar bark. There are three enclosed areas for your dog to run off-leash. A small dog area, and two large dog areas. One of the large dog areas has a untreated pond (use at your own discretion) but there are two hose off stations that has a platform in each and multiple hoses. Most of the pet parents are friendly and most of the dogs are just there for a good time. There has been incidents so be attentive to your pet and don’t add to the non-responsive pet parents who just sit and don’t watch their dogs. Sometimes we are there for 30-mins and sometimes we are there for over an hour, depends on the vibe.

Great dog park, has two washing stations and two big areas for large dogs including one without a pond so dogs don't have to get wet.

Great dog park with two areas for large dogs. One has a pond that the pups love. Only issue is not all owners pick up after their dogs. Do better people!
