Saturday was my first time here and I loved it! They have public restroom, picnic tables and grill. Everyone loading and unloading their boats, jetsky, etc was nice. Place looks clean. It was a bit hard to install an umbrella because the ground was very hard and also gets pretty windy so bring hats because there's no shadows here.
I ABSOLUTELY recommend to check under the tables! We were very lucky to not be stung by a huge nest of wasps!

Georgous and peaceful cove that eventually reaches main body of Lake to places like windy point and Mansfield dam. Lake Travis water is beautiful. I use cypress creek for paddle boarding.

My client was able to walk to the lakeside. He hadn't been brought to the lake by any of his caregivers. So we drove to check it out. He enjoyed his trip. It brought tears to see him get down there and look out over the lake.

Little slice of paradise. Quiet and easy for social distancing. There isn’t much shore line but there is plenty of views of butterflies and birds.

One of my favorite places to fish for bass. There is a nice convenience store coming in from the Austin side they have bait. Be careful using spinners there they drive the water moccasins nuts and I've hooked one just about every time. A raft can get you to the little finger east of the park and the underwater limestone shelves make for some good size "fish on's".

We stumbled upon this place on our way to Oasis. Stopped to Enjoy. Reminded me how beautiful "my" city.

I have some very fond memories from this park. As a resident of the area since 73'. As a teenager in high school. We would meet up here, we had formed our own special group. We called ourselves "The Cypress Creek Garden Club". This place has beautiful sunsets on one of the most beautiful lake's. Memories are waiting to be made here.

Great little area for the kids to play in nature. I just drove by this and decided to stop for an hour. There's even a little picnic area off a small trail that faces the water. If you have a canoe or kayak, this would be a wonderful place to come and enjoy the peace & quiet. There were a few people fishing as well. Nice little spot.

We came here after hours, which is an outlaw move. Normally it is $5 per person, kids under 12 free. It looks like a great place to canoe or kayak or fish. We listened to the frogs and waded on the (closed) boat ramp. All in all, a beautiful spot.

Excellent little park. Mostly boat launch but several people were there playing with their dogs. I wanted to try out a new lens so we pulled in. Did you know parks (state or county...forgot to ask) are free if someone in the car is 62 or older? Love it!

Nice little park. Two entrances to park. Boat ramp side has a fee. Other side is free. A few picnic tables and grills available. Bathrooms on site. Trashcans on site. Finally back open but check website/call ahead for hours if/when there is another Covid-19 spike.

Really enjoy the hike/bike path. I love that it doesn't have too many lights/too much "light pollution" along the trail at night. But, if that is a concern you might avoid walking the trail at night or stay by the lake.

Not the greatest park in the county but a solid place to stop and drop a deuce

I think this is the best marina on the lake. It is not pretentious and the other people who have their boats here are friendly, respectful and nice. It has fair prices on their slips and the cove right there has become the new cove to hang out at. Great views, great people, great time.

It’s kind of sad to see what this place has become recently but it was always my favorite place to launch my boat, specially a couple years ago when we got all that rain. but since I moved to new location in Austin, my boat is now on the water and no longer have to launch it all the time. I always liked this park and never had any problems here “ever”compared to other places and other boat launches on lake Travis.

Let me guess, the other reviewer just moved to Austin from NYC or California and has no idea Austin is experiencing a huge drought right now. Of course there's no water, the lake is 60 feet below "full" levels! The park is still enjoyable if you're just looking for a place to sit under a big blue sky and enjoy the day. Keep in mind, though, that if the lake isn't full this is one of the first places that's going to lose water access.
