The brisket sandwich was amazing! Just make sure you have plenty of cold water if you are gonna get it in a hot day because it’s server very hot and ever so slightly spicy, still a 10/10 for a food truck!

The atmosphere of the place is exactly what you expect!

Brian said they are open 7 days a week, certainly come check them out!!

Best burgers you’ll find around. They call it sandwiches and fill them up with actual good meat like brisket and sausage slices.

Music also 10/10.

Jim's Smokehouse is the best BBQ in Austin! Brad & his team catered our wedding & we had a fantastic experience. Brad worked with us to customize a menu that worked for all of our guests dietary restrictions. All of our guests loved the food. It was a highlight of the wedding day. If you've never had the banana cream pie you're missing out!!!

Stopped in while on a visit to Lake Travis. Server was very friendly and provided some superb recommendations on menu items including listing what had just come out of the smoker that day.
The food was incredible, I had two brisket tacos which were so filling that I couldn't eat them both. It wasn't a taste, it was a literal taste crescendo. Each bite was a 8 second experience.

We like this place because we can take the food over and get a beer from the bar next door. The staff has always been nice, and food usually comes promptly.

I personally think the sides are all great. The BBQ has been spotty, but on average it's pretty good. Prices are fair.

Here's the value in BBQ places, though: the line here usually isn't long. Line-for-line this is the best BBQ I have found. I can go here, get decent food, have a beer, and not sweat it. Other food trucks are around to please all your friends.

Amazingly consistent BBQ. As good, if not better, than most of the "famous" places around town. Plus the pork ribs and bbq sauce are the best I've had in Texas - beef is king in Texas but if you are craving some great hog, this is the 100% place. You can take your food to the bar / patio next door where there is a great green space and even a sand box and park for the kids to play.

Definitely recommend eating here. The brisket and pulled pork is amazing. Came back the day after to bring my family! Got the Mac & cheese with brisket on top! AMAZING food and staff.

Easily the or one of the best briskets I've had, very flavorful, cooked perfectly, Pork ribs were really good.

Sauces that came with the good paired nicely with the flavors that the meat was seasoned with. The homemade pickles, lightly pickled onion and carrots were amazing

They have a nice spot with outdoor seating and some games, so it's not one of the food trucks you go to and have to sit in your car to eat

The guys in the truck were very friendly and made us feel welcome and were constantly checking on us and asking how everything was. Top notch

If you want some outstanding barbecue in the Four Points area, go to Jim's.

I've had the tacos twice, and they are excellent. Warning they are huge and you should only eat just one! That said, I ordered two and didn't regret it 😁

You can order from inside the Rock House bar as well and they'll bring it into you.

The only reason I docked the atmosphere score is because the picnic tables are very close to 620, so it's noisy outside. Not much they can do about it but it's a fact of the location.

Regardless, go to Jim's and make yourself happy!

Best brisket taco in town! All of their BBQ is on point and always delicious. Don’t forget about the sides…you can’t beat them!

Some of the best Brisket Tacos and other combinations in town, I love that he makes interesting dishes with the brisket, including things like salsa, cheese, avocados, etc.
Also, the Scalloped Potatoes with Cheese are to die for. 100% recommend! Also super fast and friendly service.

Great meal! Brisket was very tasty and the key lime pie was so delicious! This bbq was recommended to us and we were not disappointed!

Jim's Smokehouse Four Points is one of the most enjoyable BBQ experiences my partner and I have ever had recently.

The meat is consistently flavorful, the sides always tasty and fresh, and the service is prompt and friendly.

We ordered Jim's Smokehouse for our holiday meal this past Christmas and also impressed our guests. We had leftovers for days and repurposed the meat into our own queso and used the jalapeno sausage for breakfast tacos.

An overall fantastic experience every time we order from the Four Points location and look forward to eating from the other location.

This place is legit! Their bbq is incredible. I love their Mac and cheese. I always get it when I come here. Food is just outstanding, perfect bbq, juicy, tender meats. Can’t go wrong with anything from this food truck. They have seating outside. Parking can be tight. But it’s worth searching for a spot.

I first had Jim's Smokehouse a year and a half ago, the first time I visited Austin. I was blown away by the food and service of this place the first go around and often dreamt about going back when I visit Austin again. Well, I just moved here and made it to Jim's as quickly as I could. We had the Brisket Chili which was loaded with the smokiest, juiciest brisket I have ever had (far better than Salt Lick, and Terry Black's). I had the B-RAD Bomber (special of the day) which consisted of Jalapeno Cheddar Sausage, Pulled Pork, Melted Pepper Jack Cheese, topped with Pico De Gallo, in between a fresh, perfectly toasted bun. Can't beat this place.

Update: 1 year later still the best place to eat and making the best damn nana cream pie!

The food was so delicious!!! I got the Maui Waui Taco, Mac n cheese, key lime and banana pudding. I will for sure be back!

I don’t really ever leave reviews, but I had to leave a review for this incredible place. My family and I went here with our two kids because we’re staying down the street. Had no idea what we were getting ourselves into. Brad (the owner) treated us like we were friends from the moment we arrived. This dude knows what he’s doing with his bbq, sides, and insanely good desserts. We got a meat sampler with brisket, ribs, Mac n cheese and scalloped potatoes, as well as the Maui taco and de Leon taco. Everything was seriously perfect. And it’s a really cool vibe for a small food truck! We got the key lime dessert and loved it so much we had to see how good the banana cream pudding was and I’d course it was the best we’ve ever had. We will definitely be coming back, possibly tomorrow haha.

Austin does have some great BBQ places but this one is pretty damn special!! And the best part is you don’t have to wait in a long line behind all them non-Texas natives to eat!!
I went to eat & boy did I. 1/2 lb of brisket, 1/2 lb of ribs, 1/4 lb Jalapeño cheddar sausage, & a small pulled pork macaroni. They give you 2 types of sauces to enjoy the meats & they were damn good too! One was a cold & sweet & the other a warm vinegar based sauce!

Some of the best BBQ i have ever had. Glad it's close to my house. They also have great sides. Don't drive by. Make sure you stop. You won't be disappointed.

Was craving bbq and really happy to have stopped by to try this place! The brisket sandwich I ordered was excellent and will definitely be going back to try more menu items soon!
