Best beef soup in the area…
Red snapper & pupusas…. A neighborhood gem!

I visited this place before COVID… quality is still very good! Congrats!

Maybe offer a “soup n something “ lunch could be nice… all dishes are very good!

I've been coming to this restaurant for over 15yrs. The food here is amazing. We've always keep it simple but the the following is a must try: Pupusas, El Tipico, Pollo a La Crema, Carne Fajitas, Sopa de Res (great when sick or hungover..don't ask..I just know.) are just a few to name. For drinks, the Horchata is very good along with the Ensalada de Fruta. For alcoholic drinks, the Madator, which one of their margaritas. If I have 3, then it's a guarantee I will be back the next day for that Sopa de Res.

I will say we have cheated on them when it comes to pupusas. Every place we have tried them at never compared to La Union. So we have given up trying new places.

Now that the food is out of the way, I will say the staff is very friendly. When we walk in, we feel like family. They're also very accommodating especially after I had weight loss surgery. I can't eat a lot so they always had a recommendation for something that wasn't a large portion and they've never let me down.

I promise you that they will not let you down if you give them a try.

My family are repeat customers, for lunch and dinner. The menu is extensive, and the staff is willing to adjust a dish if needed. Speaking of the staff — they’re friendly and cooperative. With their prices, we’ll be returning for a while!

Very awesome hole in the wall. Waiter told us about an off menu margarita. Was the perfect touch for Cinco De Mayo. Even better it came in a glass with a catus stem (see image). Highly recommend the chicken enchiladas, and cheese papusa. Incredibly filling, well priced and great service. :)

I visited La Union Restaurant on Mothers day. I had a great time with my mother and sisters total of 6. The place is small but cozy. Decorations are cute. Bathrooms are clean. Staff was very accommodating and friendly. Food was delicious 😋 I had El Tipico the steak was tender cooked to my liking. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Overall service was great and prices are very reasonable. I will definitely visit again.

Loved the latin, big band music. The food was so savory and home-style. The cocktails people were ordering looked really yummy. Very nice servers.

We enjoyed our meal and the service was good. I had grilled whole red snapper, it was perfectly grilled. Crispy skin with tender meat and the seasonings was on point. We are definitely returning soon.

No doubt in my mind I’ll be coming back here. Our waiter was down to earth, funny and sold us when he said his grandmother and dad were there cooking the food. Be sure to come give this place a shot!

Excellent Salvadoran/Mexican food. Papusas, yuca & chicharon, tacos, soup, steak...everything we have tried so far has been awesome. Good service and cheap eats!

Great food, great service but some of us ordered pupusas and some one else ordered the carne asada and beef burritos the people who ordered the Carne asada and burrito got their food first and everyone else had to wait for their food looking at the other people eat first that's the only down part of that restaurant so far they don't know to make the food that takes longer to cook first so that when the food comes out everything comes out al together

Good food and great staff. The atmosphere is nice and the restaurant is cozy. The food is also good. Prices are great compared to other local restaurants in the same area, and the horchata was fresh and tasted great unlike another restaurant down the street..

Avocado salad, the chimichangas, everything! I've been eating here since I was a child, highly recommend.

The food is amazing and the people make you feel at home. I had the fish tacos and they fulfilled food dreams.

Love this place, wonderful family restaurant. The staff is so good and friendly. The food never disappoints. The price is great as well. Compare to other places that charge so much and food taste bad. Here the food taste amazing with has so much flavor!! Love it.

Genuinely excellent Salvadoran food every time. Throw a dart at the menu and you'll end up with something incredible. One of those restaurants that you'll be thinking about days later and wondering how you got lucky enough to live in a city where you can find food like this.

The pupusas are some of the best I have ever had. We definitely didn't order enough (5).
Sopa de Res was excellent and so flavorful

Absolutely love the food and the people. I made a large catering order for my daughter’s 5th birthday and La Union nailed it. Delicious food, great communication, incredible service. Thankful to them for making my life easy. Highly recommend!
