I love the fresh fruits from Safeway 😊😋 they have a lot of things for all your needs. I love the decorations for mother's day. They follow covid guidelines.

This safeway really good, everything really clean, people and staff here friendly. All the stuff always full in shelf. My family usually visit to buy jackpots and some hair dye.
Starbuck here is not really bad

This location has everything I need, and they have a great Starbucks 👍

We consider this the "big Safeway" as they have an actual bakery with rosemary bread and extensive selections throughout the store, including for meats and seafood. They added self checkout a while back, which eliminated the longer wait times for paying. The store remains in good condition, even though it's probably a decade old by now. They also recently upgraded the bread slicing machine, although it's only available if you can find a bakery worker, which isn't easy later at night.

They have everything you need

I always find great deals and fresh produce in this MASSIVE store. The consistent customer service from all the great, professional employees are what make it my first choice for groceries nowadays.
Regularly, I have a cart full of groceries. Their cashiers are trained well enough that they open up a cashier if you're in the self checkout lanes without the customer having to ask. 👍⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ for that intelligent customer service. I'm always treated with the utmost respect whether I shop early in the morning or later night before they close.
Update: Glad to say that this store is still great and the customer service is even better. I'm afraid that if Kroger buys out Albertsons, Safeway will no longer have great customer service or prices. Monopolies were illegal for a reason. Corporate FASCISM is not cool. We need to fight it at all costs.

I want to give a big shoutout to the meat department manager for consistently making sure there is always beef bacon in stock for me.

He usually works early morning shifts, can’t remember his name but thank you sir!

They always have what I need. Shoutout to this Safeway for being open until midnight (Oreo cravings hit late, don't you know)

Went there this morning for the first time in a long time (I usually order groceries online due to the pandemic). An employee named Tina went absolutely above and beyond helping us in the self checkout. She sanitized a cart and brought it over to us to help us take our groceries to the car even though we didn’t ask for one, helped us load our cart, gave us the PLU code for an item we were searching for off the top of her head, etc. all in a span of like two minutes. Amazing customer service!

Always a great experience at Safeway! The Safeway on Arlington Blvd in Falls Church is super clean, the workers are friendly and the store is huge.

This store was impeccably clean and attractive. The floors sparkled and the aisles were neat add straight. The deli and hot bar is a great spot for lunch. I was very impressed with the size, selection and appearance of this store.

I missed going to Safeway when we lived in CO. Was glad to see one here while visiting Washington DC. Always a good experience!

Clean, organized and lots to choose from. We didn't find the right kind of beef for swiss steak, but we found plenty of other items we needed. Girl helping at the self checkout was fun when we needed to see if everything we were buying was rung up.

We came for eggs, and left with the knowledge of how to properly taste wine and a nice wine that is over our typical $10 budget (and eggs). Thank you, Al, for loving what you do. It made our visit very enjoyable.

This was my go to grocery store before I moved. When I come back, I still go here. Nice selection of organic produce and other organic items...prices are good. Definitely recommend.

Prior to moving to Arlington, I was never a huge fan of Safeway. The Safeway near my old residence was mediocre at best, and the produce was often less than desirable with limited variety. This particular Safeway is much better. It's always very clean, usually well-stocked, the produce is (on average) better than my prior experiences, and they have awesome store-made fresh tortilla chips and queso. My biggest complaint about this Safeway is that the pharmacist is never very friendly. My wife and I have both dealt with her a couple of times, and both of us have had similar experiences.

Awesome grocery store, they have everything. From freshly baked bagels to lamb chops. Friendly employees, good customer service. There’s a Starbucks inside.
