Very nice park. Plenty of space between sites. Clean bathrooms and showers. Quiet. Having no water was an inconvenience but we knew that going in. Will stay there again.

There are good trails to walk, grounds to play sports and camp, and spots to enjoy beautiful scenes.

Love Lake Fairfax Park! The 10 mile loop for hiking is pretty easy and is nice! There is an area you can watch the ducks and birds. Plenty of area for picnics and bbqs. Beautiful park! I saw a heron beautiful big bird!

We saw a family that got some people to create them a picnic spot on in the park to celebrate their parents 50th anniversary. It was so nice!

I just love lakes and nature and so this was perfect, I had a beautiful walk, it's very family friendly place, saw many families with kids enjoying the outdoors. I too enjoyed it, a nice walk, while listening to one of my calm Spotify playlist in addition to sipping some chai. There are multiple seating areas where you can get a great view of the lake - breathe taking 😱

One of the best parks for almost all seasons in the heart of Reston
Lake fairfax park offfers many activities including camping, hiking, boating, picnic, grilling, party, social gatgerings and so on.
I go there frequently for walking on the trails and capturing the views from my camera.
There are baseball, soccer, cricket fields. A dirt trail for biking, and an area for skateboarding too.
There is a lot of natural beauty to enjoy. While around the lake it is sometime difficult to realize that one is sitting in the heart of a City.
Ive enjoyed some office picnics and some other social events here and also frequent weekend visits with my family. My favorite weekend spot close to my house.

This review is for the south end of the park only on a hiking and biking trail. We were in the area for a geocache and decided to hike the trail for a bit. These are great easily accessible woods to walk in. They really look like a fun trail to mountain bike in. We met one biker head on and had plenty of space to get over and give her the trail. You do want to stay aware since it is a popular shared trail.

Want to get away from the traffic and have a calm evening. This is the best place to stop by. People spend time BBQing, Fishing. I along with my wife stop for a walk here time to time. Need to explore a little bit more on the Pool side. I think there are timing to use them.

It is a great park. We had our Bible Study Outing today. Love the tables under the trees. Perfect for a hot day like today. Amazing space. We were able to play games, prayed and sang a praise song. We saw ducks and turtles by the lake too. Which my kids loved!
Thanks for the pictures Misha ang Mico!

Love this place! There's plenty of space to go on a hike or just lounge by the lake and fish. Plenty of people get on their kayaks, paddle board and paddle boats. Families have a picnic under the trees and there's a water park that would probably be open if not for COVID-19. Highly recommend!

A very big park and a very good for camping. You have plenty of activity to do within the park and there is separate campground where you do your camping with your family. Over the weekends saw school kids camping with their family and was looking so good. Heard from friends that is safe to camp .

Great park with trails and nature for all. Thankfully most people pick up after themselves and try to take care of the area. Hope they keep this place feeling wild and not over developed.

Fantastic place, there's skate parks, sports fields and a play area near the lake. The scenery is beautiful around the RV campgrounds

Excellent park for day activities, mountain biking, assorted sports and camping.
Campsites were a bit overgrown but the bathhouses were really top notch.
Our campsite was along a small creek and beneath a rock outcropping making it feel like we traveled out of the DC Metropolitan area.
It's a great location for a long weekend camping trip with biking and hiking but not having to travel hours away. Perfect for novice adventurers.

Park with lots of fun. Specially the water park. Have options to barbecue or even host a party !! Lake itself is quite big. Seasonal fishing and boating operations as well. My kid enjoys watching ducks here all the time...there are small park areas with slides and all for small kids to enjoy and have a fun time there..park is open all the time but they require reservations for picnic Pavilion and water park is seasonal too with hours.

My most favorite place in Reston. It’s the most convenient park ever. You can just go for a walk or cycling. You can have your birthday parties out here. Barbecue, fishing and much more. ❤

It is an amazing park for so many things. It is good for camping, biking, walking or running and for skating. You can also go on a boat or go to the waterpark. They have a great trail that goes all the way around the lake.

This is a nice outdoor park to visit (and also camp at) in Reston. There are various fields for sports, picnic areas, as well as areas that seemed were designated for RVs to camp at.

The grounds have heated big bathroom buildings which was a big plus when visiting in the freezing cold.

The walk around Lake Fairfax is an enjoyable one, especially if you are able to come in the afternoon/sunset.

There is plenty of parking to come at anytime, but they do close at dawn it appears.

So much to do there!
There’s the lake that’s always serene (but you might have to go early when there aren’t a lot of people since they can play music pretty loud).
There’s many skate boarding ramps.
There’s a massive area for camping (both tents and RVs).
It’s a great location since it’s close to the “city” but far enough to be immersed in nature.
They have a nice bathroom area as well as porta-potties scattered around. They’re almost always clean.
The camping grounds we’ve used range from being next to someone else’s tent to being pretty far away from the next lot.
You have to reserve an area if you plan on spending the night.

Great calm lake, plenty of picnic tables, gazebos, and water crafts for some fun and relaxation. Cool hiking trail and small but nice water park.
