Delicious Italian food made by a nice family. Tasty pizza and HUGE pasta portions. We can't wait to go back. You must come check this place out!!!! They have a nice selection of beer and wine as well =)

Nice, quaint hidden gem. From out of town and next to my hotel. Walked from Hilton Garden Inn. It's a come as you are place. Nice service, order at the bar, no table service for lunch. I ordered the sandwich and salad combo. The vinaigrette dressing was delicious, on my very fresh salad. I also enjoyed my sandwich on fresh focaccia bread. The pizzas looked delicious. Give it a try, it's right by the water.

Nice casual spot for a solid meal. This meal was a great value - I think I paid $20 for the salad and chicken and shrimp pasta plates in the pics and a drink. Plates were really big and filling. Would definitely return!

I went to Roba's for low key meal in Emeryville, CA just across the bridge from SF as a recommendation from my best friend from highschool.

Forgive me if I'm about to sound like Ben Wyatt but what's totally next level here is the Calzone - see the breakdown here:
1. Presentation - this is a gigantic Calzone, covered in an awesome tomato sauce and garnished beautifully
2. Taste - the crust / bread on the Calzone was awesome, crisp on the outside fluffy on the inside pair that with tons of cheese and a nice tomato sauce can you really go wrong?
3. Price - can you believe this gigantic Calzone was only 11 dollars in the Bay area? This meal likely is enough for your whole day and is a steal at this price and the people who run the shop are so nice.

Roba's was so surprising! Delicious and super fresh, with huge portions. We ordered the pesto penne pasta with chicken mushrooms, the liguine with shrimp & veggies, we split a ceasar salad and an order of herbed foccacia garlic bread, with ice cold Stellas. It was pretty busy, but we got our salad in 15 minutes and our entrees in a half-hour. The ambiance is cafe casual, and has nice bay views. The pizza looked really good. We'll try that next time. The service was quick, efficient and friendly.

First time here and really enjoyed my experience. The business has been here for 26 years! Spoke briefly with the owner and chef, lovely lady. Will definitely come back here again.

We go to robas Every time we're in Emeryville. It's very convenient to our father's condominium and it's fantastic to be able to visit with Warkush and Abraham in their beautiful restaurant. The food is deliciously prepared and perfectly proportioned. A nice beer and wine selection, as well as canned soda & soft drinks. I strongly recommend a visit there. I think you will come back for more!

Best pizza I have had in a long time. Absolutely perfect from the chewy, flavorful crust to the piled on fresh toppings. Not too much, not to little - perfect in every way. Such nice people too!

I attempted to visit Roba’s yesterday at around 5:00, the time of their opening according to their website. Unfortunately, there were curtains covering the entrance, wires disconnected on the interior, no answer on their phone, and no signs of activity whatsoever near the restaurant. I am hoping they are only temporarily closed or on vacation… they are a staple of our community for well over 25 years and I would be heartbroken to see them close in such an unceremonious manner.

Roba’s Pizza Cafe is a delicious restaurant with very affordable prices and friendly service. They offer a quaint, comfortable, and sophisticated atmosphere with amazing paintings and artwork. Their garlic cheese bread is crunchy and heavenly, while the XL King of Kings is absolutely humongous for a amazingly reasonable price.

Huge portions! Cheap. It may take a bit to get your food, but we'll worth the wait. The owner/operators make the food themselves. Sweetest couple ever making up some great Italian staples.

Best pizza for the best price in the Bay Area. Dough is baked perfectly if you like it crusty and crunchy. Many different choices and huge portions. Ready in about 30 mins. or less. Had a graduation party there. Same owners since 1992. Very personable couple.

Got a medium pepperoni. Came out quick and is the best pizza I have had in a while. I'll come back and tell my friends.

Best margarita pizza I've had in the Bay area to date! Super satisfied! Ate the whole thing in one delicious and indulgent sitting :) will definitely go again to get my pizza fix! Owned and operated by a sweet family.

Great and fresh pizza and pasta. Extremely reasonably priced. A Friendly environment with delicious authentic Italian food. What else could you want? I absolutely love this place and it’s vibe. It is FRESH so don’t expect your food in 3 minutes but the wait time is also totally bearable.

Great little restaurant! Tasty food, good sized portions; friendly staff. We wanted lunch near the water - everything like that was so expensive, except Roba's which is across the street from the water. Still gave us the experience we were looking for at half the price. Go there, our chicken sandwich was delicious and came with a very fresh tasty salad. My friend's Greek salad was likewise ample and delish. Great diverse menu.

In two words: "Great place"! It's a little tricky to find along the Watergate Market on Powell Street, but its a warm, cozy place with a staff which is very friendly. And the food is just terrific. As other have stated, they're not afraid to use a little extra garlic...and I like that. The serving sizes are on the generous side and the prices are super-cheap. Can't wait to go back for lunch tomorrow...looking forward to trying the pizza. Highly recommend.

Great pizza, good prices. The sauces moisture balances the crust and toppings, so you won't need to pound drinks. Fresh toppings. Decent parking too.

This is one of my favorite pizza places. The traditional pizza and chicken & spinach calzone (the only two things on their menu that I've tried so far) are excellent. Friendly service, family-owned feel. Great prices.
