Ross Dress for Less

This was the nicest Ross I have ever been to, went with my paramour, Christmas shopping.

My BabyGirl asked me to stand in line, after my experience at the Ross in San Francisco on 4th and Market, I thought this was a good idea. Several hundred customers IN LINE THERE, only 5 cashiers working out of 25 lines. That Ross is a total failure in customer service.

This Ross in Oakland was cleaner, more selection, and almost no wait time, despite the long line. I had to let a bunch of people pass me to hold the spot!

Wished everyone a Merry Christmas though! At least this store played Christmas music! I was singing while waiting for she who I pray will say yes when I ask her to marry me, BRUNO MARS sang this perfectly and summed up my feelings to the nth degree.

Babygirl actually just did not want me with her, she was getting my Christmas gift(s?)…Smartest woman I have met in 45 years, and the most adorable cutie I know!

Many varieties of choices, plenty of stocks, nice host, bathroom needs some upgrade.

One of my favorite stores every time I leave town

Go there a lot since I'm Hispanic my mom shops a lot there it's a nice store always has a lot to offer with discounts and deals.

Shout out to all the employees that come to work the 1st of the month. Long lines, but they went fast and with great customer service. They don't allow you to take the shopping of the store. That's odd to me. However, I do understand. Continue being great

I’m an unashamed black girl that loves Ross. For this location I try to go early, but even then it’s always a bit of a crowd which is a testament to the gems folks find here. I do wish they’d have at least 2 cashiers at the front at all times to speed up checkout, but the selection of toys, home goods and speciality snacks is good so I’ll be back

This is one of the best Ross locations I have been to in a long time!! So much selection!! Even though the line was long, it really didn't take much time. Definitely visit...you'll leave happy for sure!!

Great finds with low prices

I love Ross! I usually go there with a particular product in mind. Most of the time I find it, or another alternative. Lately, it has been my go-to store to find Harry & David products which is in the checkout lines.

It feels like I'm catered to whenever I go to this Ross. The workers even speak which is so rare now a days. They also offer assistance w/o making me feel I'm being watched or in one area too long.
I prefer this location because of the overall attention to details from the staff.

I never hop in these comments, I will this time... I was conflicted between giving a low rating and a high rating, but I'm giving a high rating because of dania who was my cashier. There were 2 lines, one for customer service and one to check out normally. and 1 guy got in the customer service line while the normal line was hella long. He got rude with dania and she directed him to the back of my line. He was all loud and privileged and went to the white male manager, GEORGE, who tried to make my cashier ring the guy up w/o any questions or backing his teammate up. Weird energy. Manager let the guy cut other people while dania rung me up. She was super polite to me.
