Trader Joe's

I absolutely love the level of service I get at Trader Joe's, even if it's just when checking out. The employees are always so cheerful and it really makes a difference. It's like the In-N-Out of grocery stores! I really hope they keep it up.

I stopped by on a Wednesday afternoon after picking up a skincare order from Sephora, which is just across the street in the Bay Street Mall. I noticed that they had Korean Pears for only $1.49, which is an amazing deal compared to the $5 to $7 price tag at other stores. I wasn't sure if I would like them, so I only bought two. But after trying them, I was hooked! They're so juicy, crisp, and refreshing. The last time I was this excited about a piece of fruit was when I tried Star Fruit for the first time on the Big Island two years ago.

Aside from the amazing pears, I really prefer coming to this location over the one on Lakeshore in Oakland, even though it's a bit further from my house. I've always found it to be more enjoyable. I even like it better than the one in Alameda. I like being able to come during the week when there aren't as many people, and I always manage to find something delicious. The line wasn't long at all on Wednesday, and I had no trouble navigating through the store with my cart.

The only thing I really miss is the Linguine with Clam Sauce, but there are plenty of other freezer meals to choose from for those times when I don't feel like cooking. Overall, I had a great experience at Trader Joe's and I'll definitely be back for more of those amazing Korean Pears!

This is my favorite T.J.'s in the area. The people that work there and the other shoppers are always friendly. It's never too crowded and they always have the usual suspects of Trader Joe stuff.

I now run into my neighbors and new friends at this Trader Joe's! In a conversation last week with a friend, we conversed about how this TJ's not only has the best and friendliest staff of employees but they really do care about us customers. They always go out of their way to satisfy. The clients are usually an attractive, friendly, diverse group of NorCali transplants and East Bay natives who take their sweet time going down each aisle carefully selecting TJ's goodies. As they should. There's no rush here in Emeryville. My only suggestion is that when this TJ's comes out with their new and seasonal stuff, ya Betta get it when ya see it, because it will go fast. Especially those Pumpkin flavored Trader O's cookies🤯😍🤤One row of these krack-cookies should be enough for a few sittings while watching Adventure Time with Fin & Jake the Dog, but it never is. And it never will be. So live a little and brush ya teeth more than frequently...you'll be awight.😂🤦🏾‍♂💯

Nice small and friendly grocery store. Super convenient for grabbing a few items to make a meal with fresh ingredients. Easy to get in and out fast. They don’t have a huge selection of items like the big box grocery stores, but convenience and good pricing make up for it.

Trader Joe's always on my (mind) list. The only place I can find exclusive things...

A great place to go, although don't go in afternoon cuz that's when everybody tends to shop early in the morning. And I guess before the 10:00 or 11:00 hour is the best time to go.

We go here like 3 times per week! The staff is always super friendly and helpful. The parking lot can be a bit hectic but it's not too bad.
