Watergate Market

The owners here are very helpful. There is a deli with very hearty sandwiches and sushi. They will make you a delicious sandwich using delicious ingredients of your choosing. I tried both the sandwiches and the sushi and enjoyed both greatly. My sushi wasn't stale and tasted great. The cold drink section is fairly well stocked too. There are tables outside where you can eat. They also carry an assortment of groceries and house supplies. It's a very convenient market on the peninsula.

This place is amazing variety of options and a great deli that uses Boarshead customer service is one-of-a-kind plus they have a liquor land around the area of Emeryville they are one of the spots that you want to visit if you’re around here everything you need in one place definitely highly recommend it

I just saw the lower level of the facility. There are many restaurants and places to sit down and eat. The breeze is nice and cool. The train station is walking distance, so it's very convenient for shopping at the end of the day. The train line goes from San Jose to Sacramento. You can save on gas and the two hour trip forth and back.

This place is fantastic. The prices and selection was just what I needed

I didn't realize there was such a great market right at Berkeley Marina until I rode my bike there. Easy to miss and totally worth visiting. Sweet staff that makes me want to come back.

Definitely recommend. The sandwiches are awesome and they're on about the best tasting hard rolls I've ever had. So glad I stumbled onto this place as a healthier alternative to the endless (but delicious) food trucks which are all over Emeryville. As others have said, the groceries are a little pricey but not outrageous. The beer and wine selection was impressive for such a small store, and they had pretty much everything else grocery and sundry-wise I needed. Both the butcher and the owner were very friendly and helpful. Five stars.

They have a little of everything, including groceries, etc. an array of adult beverages, a hot buffet, a great deli, and choice meats. Most convenient near the marinas.The proprietors are very nice folks, and are always happy to be of service. Easy in and out parking, right there

Have been shopping Watergate Market for 46 years from child to adult. My favorite neighborhood market. Awesome wine selection solid beverage and snack selection. Staff is fun and patient.

Great market, fantastic sandwiches and really nice staff. Add easy parking and you see why I never miss a chance to go here.

I wouldn’t go here for groceries (well, maybe I have for bacon, eggs, some frozen items), but it’s a great place to stop in for drinks, wine, chips, snacks. I had the packaged sushi once and it was very fresh, and the deli counter looks decent too

After moving from San Francisco I searched hard for a neighborhood market like you find in the City. The Watergate staff is super nice and actually remembers you! They carry all the essentials you need without the crowd crush at TJs or Berkeley Bowl.

Little local grocery store. Great people, ready to eat food in containers - Asian, Mexican. Seaweed salad is delivered from local Asian restaurant daily. I tried - it is fresh. Thank you.

This is the only place in the world that you can get the"Randwich" for lunch. It is only served Monday through Wednesday. No two Randwiches are exactly the same but they have one thing in common. They are made by the great Randy McPherson and his very talented assistant. And if they ask where you heard abought the Randwich, just tell them your buddy Paul gave you the tip! Enjoy, you are in for a major treat!
