This studio is great. Small and kind of like a beach house, it has a gorgeous view of the beautiful vista of Mill Valley. The teachers I attend class with are amazing and very helpful.

Bonnie the new manager is very professional and keeps good care of the studio. Hot tea, showers, great teachers, and always respecting the customer! What more can a yogi ask for?

I adore teaching Yin Yoga at Yogaworks Mill Valley!! Bonnie, the manager and Hana, Greeter Supreme help create the authentic yoga vibe in this location. If you are looking for the most experienced yoga teachers in Marin, this is where you start. Love the shopping too! Props, clothing, jewelry and other cool lifestyle items are beautifully merchandised. Awesome place to practice and teach!

Definitely enjoy my Ashtanga morning mysore practice with John and Lea. They both are awesome! My practice advanced a lot in the 15 months practicing here.

Evening flow classes are great too. Love the teachers here.

Studio also have shower - even though i have never used it, but that's something nice to have.

Hit or miss. Some great teachers like Stephanie P, John Berlinsky, and Leah. Others more mixed.

SICKENING EXPERIENCE - sales pressure escalates to credit card fraud.

In September, I signed up for a free week. Bonnie, at the front desk, told me about a monthly promotion before taking the class. I just got out of my first class, and I was not aware I needed to sign a 3-month agreement. I told her I was not able to commit for three months until I at least try a few more classes and see how they work with my schedule. She snapped on me, she mentioned the limbs of yoga, and how I need to practice every day and sign the contract, otherwise, I will not get the benefits. I told her I was not ready to sign it, and there is a limb called aparigraha, which is non-attachment. Then SMOKE practically came out of her ears; Bonnie started yelling because she already went through the process and how it is too many steps to undo the contract(AKA her job) I left without signing and agreeing. I planned to never return to this particular studio because of this awful experience. I found another studio up the street that is a better fit for me - where the staff doesn't yell at their customers.

Flash forward two months, I was looking through my credit card statements, and I saw a charge on 10/25 for $125. The charge was entered manually and it said I was present and I have not been in the studio since September. Typically I would assume this was an honest mistake, however, based on my experience of being heavily pressured with Bonnie I am assuming it was a fraudulent charge.

Note to management: if my credit card is not refunded within 48 hours I will be reporting this to the authorities.

this is the first time I walked out in the middle of a yoga class. it was so overcrowded! there was no room to follow the teachers instructions. my poor neighbor couldn't figure out what to do with his props and they kept ending up on my matt. it's not fair to the instructor, who was good, to my neighbor, or to me. yogaworks is now owned by a publicly traded corporation, perhaps this is the result. avoid it.
