Finally I have found the best deli in safeway ever!
I love getting breakfast burritos. And I always have problems when I ask people to make some custom adjustments fo me. Its always ether badly made or they complain. But not this lady! She was so nice and she was so helpful and she made the best breakfast burrito ever. I was in haven. I am super happy and I am very pleased to write this review.
Of cause I forgot to ask her name. I always forget. But you can kinda tell who she is from the side.
Give her a raise! And ofcause this is my safeway to go to for breakfast burritos and trust me I have tried them almost in every safeway in the area.

Like basically ALL Albertsons Market/Safeway grocery stores (same company), they are exceptionally clean and well laid out. Moreover, the Safeway Club membership card really saves you a lot of money on the spot. It makes the prices on par with Walmart which I don't care for. Lastly, unlike most Walmarts or Kroger Grocery stores which always seemed to be filthy/dirty) always seems to take an hour just to get in and out of, you can go into most ANY Albertsons Market/Safeway and buy a couple of items and get in and out in 5 minutes which is really convenient!

My ONLY complaint is that my Safeway Club membership card works at some Albertsons and Vons stores while it does NOT work @ some Albertsons even in the Western part of the USA (California to AZ to NM/CO & Far West Texas) it doesn't work. They're the same company so I don't really understand why it doesn't work at all Albertsons Market/Safeway stores... I just recently used it at a Vons grocery store in Orange California and it works fine! Then, a couple days later, I used it at an Albertsons store - where it usually works - and it didn't! ??? Hopefully that's something that management/the corporation is working on currently! Really ironic considering, for example, you walk into, say, any Vons grocery store and they sell Safeway products like acetaminophen (pic'd).

Still, this is my favorite grocery store and this is my favorite Safeway store; exceptionally clean and the staff is not only very friendly but eager to help. DON'T shop Walmart as they do NOT invest in your community (especially California!!!) whatsoever. Safeway/Albertsons is headquartered here in Northern Cali and invest heavily in our community so please shop here or ANY Safeway/Albertsons store....Vons if you're in SoCal as they too are part of the Safeway/Albertsons Corporation. Btw, many, many people mistakeningly believe they are savinng money by shopping at walmart - that Albertsons/Safeway is more expensive. Well, here's the deal: they give you a free "Safeway Club" (Albertsons uses your phone number in lieu of an actual card) in which you routinely save a substantial amount of money. That said, let's say you're buying $100 worth of groceries at Walmart. With Safeway/Albertsons Savings Club you would likely pay (depending on the items; lots of variables here), in the end, you probably would end up paying about $101. Is saving $1 single dollar worth supporting Walmart - a company who could care less (and doesn't really even care for California - you should HEAR what rednecks in Arkansas think and routinely say about us Californians!) about you? Moreover, think about the "cost"/:value" of your time. You can easily get in and out of Safeway and or Albertsons in 5 minutes. That same trip at Walmart will take 45 minutes due to their lines and the complete lack of concern by their employees. Factor all these things when you consider where you SHOULD be shopping. Forget Walmart! Safeway/Allbertsons is the largest "traditional" grocery store in the Western Half of America (From Cali to West Texas) who truly cares about their customers. Rarely do I walk into my local store (unfortunately, this particular store isn't my usual store since I don't live near it but frequent it when in San Fran) without one of the Managers or, at the very least, cashiers saying Hello Tony! Some even ask me personal questions on matters I've mentioned. Recently, one of my local managers came up to me as I entered the store and ask me about my little nephew who just had major brain surgery; he was genuinely concerned. Touching to say the least. You think you'd EVER hear that from ANYBODY at Walmart. NOT A CHANCE! THEY DON'T CARE; IT'S THAT SIMPLE! THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY AND SEND IT TO ARKANSAS AND CHINA! NOT SAFEWAY/ALBERTSONS! THAT MONEY STAYS [MAINLY] HERE IN CALI OR, AT THE VERY LEAST, NEAR CALI IN THE AMERICAN SOUTHWEST!

FORGIVE MY VERBOSITY BUT SHOP SAFEWAY/ALBERTSONS...PLEASE!!

This Safeway always has a great selection of foods and they’re always constantly changing their products. I come here all the time it’s super convenient to get in and out just be prepared for long lines on weekends. The parking lot also can get full

My favorite Safeway. This location is always stocked with great produce and wine. The Rotisserie chicken is always hot and available but my favorite item is the day in/out freshly made Sushi. The Sushi chef is very friendly and will offer extra wasabi if needed. I recommend a visit.

Easy in and out at the Pharmacy for Covid-19 boosters. I booked online this morning and had a dozen time slots available to choose from for an appointment today. Pharmacists are polite, friendly, knowledgeable and professional.

This store has lots of choices of items, a decent sized meat/seafood counter, and good bakery. Staff is polite and knowledgeable.

They really do a great job stocking shelves here. I don’t understand how another customer can blame the store for people not following the arrows. I’m also hyper sensitive about cleanliness, keeping distance when possible wearing my mask and gloves. The store can’t police people abiding by the arrows as much as we’d like them to.
I was in there this morning and Jeff was managing the staff and self check. Jeff is very patient, competent and is kind during interactions with staff and customers. Thank you Jeff for your energy!

Large safeway conveniently located on the way to any number of fishing spots... HUGE wine selection, have patience before going in as the average customer seems to be floating in their own individual bubble, oblivious to others around them.
Which makes sense because.... well... rich people. Still the store itself is impressive .

This is a very good Safeway. Great customer service. They had my baby Yoda cereal and even directed me to the nice spooky cookies. Would give 7/5 stars. I am trustworthy.

one more of my go too stores i haven't been in one safeway that wasn't clean with friendly employees everything is easy to fine the prices are great and the location's are roundabout.plus as long as they've been around they must be doing something right .safeway my kind of store.

In this current world of a lot of people being so selfish. Had to driving to San Francisco for medical test and back home 157 miles. We stopped off to get sandwiches. Cassie in the deli department is a bright shiny star that makes you feel that there is hope and not to mention she made us two great and truly delicious sandwiches. Cassie you are a blessing. You not only fed us but renewed my soul. I also would like to give all folks that work in all stores a big 💙 ful thank you for all your sacrifice each day so that we can buy our groceries. You folks are Heroes too.

This Safeway is really great. An employee named Luke Douglas was incredibly helpful and had a terrific attitude. He made me feel welcome and comfortable and offered excellent customer service. I will totally shop here again!

Quick and easy shopping, parking lot is plenty big and staff is always helpful. Not my go to grocery store but definitely convenient.

This is my favorite Safeway. The staff is helpful&friendly. Fresh hot food, bakery items& the most awesome chocolate cake ever. Everything in produce is a feast for your eyes& you would love the variety. If its not there just ask. By your next visit, you will see it. Come shop at Safeway in Strawberry Village. You won't regret it!💯😀

The location in Strawberry Village was great. We got our Covid Booster and flu shot done. Our original appointment was at the Camino Alto location but the pharmacy staff was a no show! No phone call or even signs on the closed window. We had to ask a cashier to find out what was going! Safeway in Strawberry saved the day.

If you are staying at an expensive lodging in the area, you can come here to get reasonable things to eat. They have excellent soup, sushi, a salad bar and hot food bar, and even a Starbucks coffee shop inside the store.

I stopped here each day we were in Tiburon and the food was always excellent the the produce very fresh and reasonably priced.

Nice Safeway, definitely meets the baseline standard for this company in my experience and opinion.

This is a very very top secret don’t tell anyone. On the way to Sausalito and getting out on the boat this is the place to stop for all your goodies :-) the most important part is if you need a flu shot vaccines etc. they’re pharmacy rocks

One of the best Safeway locations in the bay area. Wine selection is amazing. Check out the treats in the dessert section! Stuff you won't find at any other Safeway. Kudos to the manager!

My all time favorite supermarket is Safeway at Strawberry Village!
All employees, starting from the managers are truly hardworking, friendly, helpful and enthusiastic! I have been shopping at this store for over 24 years and I love it!

Came here to buy flowers for a friend. Floral department had great selection and staff was very nice and helpful. Arranged my bouquets beautifully!
