Emerald Dental Smile Care

My husband and I are made to feel like old friends by Dr. Brian and his staff. He had been our dentist at Sunshine Dental for several years and then was gone. I eventually found him and Dr. Katie online and they had recently opened their clinic.
Dr. Brian has a conservative approach to dental care, explaining the pros and cons of waiting and monitoring vs you need to do this and spend the money. He offers discounts for private pay as we are retired. It's not really cost affective to obtain dental insurance if your teeth are healthy at our age.
You will not find more competent, kind, or fun dental practitioners than Dr. Brian and Katie Sohn.

I was very impressed with the care I received at Emerald Dental. The staff was wonderful, as was the dentist, Dr Katie Sohn. It was the most thorough dental exam I've ever had!

I've been a patient at this dental practice for over three years now, and I couldn't be happier with the care I've received. Dr.Katie is not only attentive and gentle, but they also make me feel completely at ease during every visit. It's evident that I'm in safe and capable hands. The staff is incredibly friendly and responsive, always going the extra mile to ensure my comfort. The recent office redesign and upgraded equipment have truly elevated the overall experience. I wholeheartedly recommend this dentist to anyone seeking exceptional care and a welcoming atmosphere.

I cannot sing the praises of this practice enough. I have been to many different dental practices in the Seattle area over the years, I found this one over 3 years ago and was blown away at how kind and thorough the staff were. Lisa at the front desk is especially helpful and answers any little question with full attention and care. I was devastated when my insurance changed years ago and I had to seek other care. I am back in network and pleased to say they are just as kind as years ago, and are on the cutting edge of dental tech! They do not push any procedures or products for gain, but wait until it is actually medically necessary (a rarity in the dental world in my experience). If you have anxieties around dental work they also take great care to provide a happy experience. 100/10 :)

I’ve had a lot of dental problems- root canals in first grade, many cavities, etc, and I’ve been to *many* dentists. Emerald Dental is the best one. They are friendly, with top technology, gentle, and most importantly incredibly thorough and skilled. With all my dental problems my teeth are the healthiest and best looking they’ve ever been since I came here. They listen to every detail I mention and always address my needs and wants. Look no further, this is the best dental care one could ask for.

Emerald Dentist are great. Katie and Bryan are both great and personable Dentist along with their entire staff.

Best dentists I've ever had! All the staff are so friendly, you can tell they all enjoy getting to know you not only as a patient but a person. They also provide excellent dental care with a lovely focus on prevention. I've learned so much about how to support my dental health over the years I've been with them, they've given me great tips that I can tell have helped my dental health and also provided helpful referrals when needed. I highly recommend them and will be sad to be leaving them when I move to a new state later this year.

Love Emerald Dental! In the past three months they’ve done a cleaning, fixed a chipped tooth, and filled a cavity for me. Each time everyone has been so friendly, considerate, and professional, and they’ve done a great job. I feel lucky to live so near such a great dentist office.

My husband and I have been seeing Dr. Sohn for 10 years now. We love him. I'm very scared of dentist but he is very gentle. He just pulled 3 of my wisdom tooth. There was no blood afterward. He was and has been always gentle. He listened to my concern. Love Emeral Dental

Our entire family has been going with them for a while and we don’t intend going anywhere else! Dr Katie is the most gentle and patient dentist ever. She has such care even the most horrified person will feel in good hands. Dr Brian even makes it fun for my teenager to actually want to go to the dentist. They were also very caring and accommodating in every possible way with my mom. They have a very professional and amazing practice and they take the patients needs at heart. Lisa and every single member of the staff are also amazing, caring and super nice. Best dentist office ever, highly recommended.

I have friends who are dentists but I fly my parents to have them see Dr Katie and Brian from California. I get to see my parents and they get trusted care from this dental team. Mom is very happy with implant she received. no problem for several years already. I highly recommend this clinic.

Love my dentists Katie and Brian. They take such pride and care with their patients. I highly recommend this couple who come from a long line of dental professionals. They are friendly and fun to talk with and just act like a good friend or family. I am excited to have them for my continued care and suggest you do also.

For someone who hadn't been to a dentist for a few years, this has been one of the most pleasant visits to a new dentist office I could ask for. All the staff are incredibly friendly and Dr. Brian was very informative and talked through everything he was doing. You can tell he cares and wants the best for you. Lisa on the front desk was very welcoming and helped me schedule my follow up appointments without a hitch. Celest the assistant was great as well! I'm glad I've found a new dentist office that I feel comfortable to continue coming back.

When we found Dr. Katie Sohn, many years ago, we found a gem.
My husband was so reluctant to go to the dentist because of a horrible experience as a child. When it became very necessary my work was cut out for me to find one he would trust and not hurt him.
We found just that with Dr. Katie. She is very gental and always explains each procedure, in detail, and why it is necessary. She also is very kind and patient with you.
I have recommended her and her husbands business to many friends and family. I always get the same feedback from them.
If you are looking for a very professional and kind place to go for your family dental needs I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM.
They also have a very caring and loving staff. Your in good caring environment the minute you walk in the door.

It's rare to come home from a dentist or doc appt and want to leave a review. The experience was so outstanding, I want to share! Dr Brian was wonderful, kind connective and thorough. Lisa in the front (office manager?) was a mazing. Celeste did a great job with the x-rays. Usually that's very painful for me but not today. And I got a sparkly butterfly as a going-away present. Absolutely the best experience I've ever had at a dentist's office.
It didn't feel like good "customer service," but like realy people really caring.
I can honestly say, I can't wait to go back for treatment next month. Highly recommend. ♥

I'm so happy and highly recommend Emerald Dentist to everybody. They are a friendly group, their welcome made my morning better! Dr Katie was really patient with my anxiety and explain everything she was doing on my tooths. The clinic is clean and wider so I did not feel claustrophobic or insecure around too many people!!! They have a great schedule!

Without a doubt the best dental care experience I’ve ever had in my long history of dental care visits. Every staff person was extremely friendly, accessible, knowledgeable, efficient and skilled in their roles and clearly a cohesive and collaborative team including me as patient. I am a very nervous, anxious dental patient. I was made to feel very comfortable and listened to. The scheduling, insurance confirmation, new patient and prophylaxis processes were efficient, clear & complete.
