Avis Car Rental

A friend advised me to use Avis and become a preferred member for an upcoming business trip. This was the best advice! While driving our rental car someone ran us off the road and we hit a construction cone which ripped off the passenger side mirror. I brought the car back to Avis and they immediately swapped me out for another car. In fact, they upgraded me for free. I didn't have to pay a dime or sign paperwork. It literally was an in-and-out transaction, they handed me the keys to the replacement car and we were back on the road. In my preferred membership I signed up for/ applied the damage waiver. Well worth it. Accidents happen, and Avis was forgiving and swapped my rental no questions asked. We resumed our trip! Perfect experience. I will use Avis again.

I was offered to upgrade for free to a Mustang, which was fun. Everyone was friendly, the lines were not long (could have just been the time of day, but still, I was happy about this), and the entire process went seamlessly. Maybe this wan an anomaly, or maybe this is just how Avis is (first time with Avis). But I'll be back!

I'm amazed at all the bad reviews for Avis Seatac. I was lucky to have a great rental experience at SEA. I arrived Friday 1800 and had prepaid for a Group W mid size SUV. As a Presidents Club member the app pinged up details of the assigned car once I turned my phone on after landing and on arriving at the rental centre there were no queues at the rental centre and my name was on the board telling me what bay my car was in. As shown in the app I'd been assigned a very nice Jeep Grand Cherokee PHEV. Pick up was quick and efficient, car was fully gassed and charged and clean. Agent at the departure from the car park was super friendly. Return was easy and quick with the deposit refunded to my card promptly. I used to use Hertz lots but will definitely use Avis going forward now. Thanks!

We had a very good experience with Avis. Professional people behind the counter, they arranged the car quickly, we had no problems. We were expecting complications, as we are all young drivers, but there were no problems. When we got back we just handed the car in without any paperwork, we received the invoice in the mail, which made it easier to get to the airport.

Booked through British Airways as we were travelling with them. The entire process was smooth from start to finish. Easy to book, great customer service, lovely, reliable car with unlimited mileage and easy drop-off at the airport. The shuttle service to the terminal was quick and efficient as well.

Had a reservation with Alamo that they did not honor because my license had expired, even though I provided proof of the renewal.

So I went to the Avis counter because I had previously had good experiences with them. When I explained the situation to Nick, he did not hesitate to offer me a car, using the same documents. AND he saved me money! He was also super-friendly and got me the exact car I wanted. Overall, outstanding customer service.

Great to see employees who are willing to use common sense and common courtesy when helping customers in unusual circumstances.

I had a great experience with the rental at the SEA airport. Car was great - clean, only had 2900 miles, and no smoke odor. I had AVIS prefered so there was no waiting to select a car. In fact, I selected the car via the AVIS app while waiting to deplane. The app showed me which spot the car was parked. Leaving the airport, I only had 1 car in ahead of me. It took less than 5 minutes. Returning the car took less than 1 minute. Attendant arrived as soon as I turned off the engine to look over car and hand me a receipt.

Great Service!! Team has exceptional member service experience that had me in my rental in less than 15 minutes. Way to go!!!!

We had a great experience with Avis at Seattle - Tacoma Airport. The staff was helpful and very pleasant. Receiving and returning the car was very easy. The shuttle service is also very good.

We waited around a 1/2 hour to get our car. Return was super simple. The vehicle we borrowed had a few scraps and scratches. We took pictures of them. We didn't have any carpets, but all in all it was good. We will see if we ate charged anything extra.

Car was ready on time, no issues with the vehicle. Easy pickup and return. The customer service was excellent. Thanks Avis!

Front desk agent was exceptional!! Just based on my experience with him, alone, I’d absolutely use them again. There was definitely something to be desired in my interaction by both the pick-up and drop-off agents. Neither of them spoke except to ask if I filled the tank. Both of them just waved me forward and that was it.

Being a President’s Club member is awesome! We got a free upgrade and got a brand new RAV4 with 4 miles on it. The checkout was super fast via the app and went directly to checkout. Upon return, I forgot to fill gas and they didn’t even charge me. Will definitely rent from Avis again!

Whether for business or pleasure I only go to Avis car rental. They treat you well and are almost always accommodating. I have never had a problem with the cars provided and they are always clean. Avis is the way to go!

Using the Avis app (and becoming a preferred member) made checkout easy. We were told the spot to pick-up the car and never had to wait in any lines or really interact with anyone. When we dropped the car off multiple states away the lot was clearly labeled and the people working gave clear directions. We would absolutely use Avis again after this experience. The car was very clean and comfortable.

The car ordering process is very fast & easy, not wordy, and the return of the car is also easy. The condition of the car is clean and very excellent, ready to be used without any problems

Avis makes everything easy from adding a driver to using the App to making reservation changes.

The airport rental facility is another story - buses can be full so you have to wait, getting to the freeways is confusing and 40% of the rental cost is rental facility fees and taxes. Lines at the rental counter can be long.

After standing in line for hours last year for a different car hire company I decided to change to Avis this year.
Their app was very informative and even got updates on my fuel levels and mileage from my rental car.
Collection from Seattle and drop off to LAX was very quick and painless.
