Very popular place. I'm so glad we had reservations. The back dining area had a beautiful view of a small Japanese garden. Food was amazing. The server was knowledgeable and patient with our questions. Highly recommended! A+

Absolutely loved this place!!!! Would go here again! The staff is so nice and accommodating. The lighting is great for photos and such. Has a very nice vibe to it. Although the bathroom had some dim lighting but the lighting around the mirror is nice if you need to perfect your make up or tie whichever you prefer😝. The sushi tasted amazing and was so fresh. Would recommend this place a thousand times over and over!

Definitely coming back! The sushi was amazing and sashimi was wonderful. And the service that they provided was just perfect. We got the demon slayer roll and it was delicious! They also gave us miso soul ON THE HOUSE. Going at night was perfect their lighting was on and the wait was extremely fast even tho everything was so busy.

I was recommended Momiji from a close friend, and decided to go on a dinner date here. From the entrance to exit the experience was amazing. At what first seems like small sushi bar opens up into a lively restaurant with a tranquil courtyard garden. The atmosphere was beautiful, and the serving was great. The food though, was amazing. Easily some of the best sushi I have ever had. I believe we got the Capitol Hill roll and another special. The portions were very good. Two rolls were perfect for two people. The mochi was also really good. I wasn’t the biggest fan of the tempura vegetables, but besides that everything about momiji was stellar

Loved seafood gyoza. The portion size was good too.

Tempura shimp was strictly ok. Nothing great. Had better tempura shrimp. I would avoid that.

Spicy rainbow specialty roll was amazing. Definitely a must try.

Casino royale specialty roll was really nice. Definitely a good option.

Geisha roll was really good.

The portion size and ambience was good.
Definitely must visit.

Went here for company dinner and it was not bad. The tempura was as expected and we got the 4 person omakase which was huge. I enjoyed most of the different fish in the omakase. Can't speak on the pricing because the company paid for it anyway but 40 dollars for 1 person omakase is pretty standard pricing for this kind of place. A bit sad they didn't offer salmon otoro though. Not sure how their rolls are, my teammates ordered some but I didnt. The lemon drink I got was okay nothing special.

Although there maybe one or two other fantastic Japanese restaurants in the Seattle area, I consider this the best of the best! The fish are the freshest you can find and come direct from all around the world! The White Maguro (white tuna), OMG! It melts in your mouth with such beautiful presentation! YOU MUST TRY the chefs special - crunchy rice with spicy tuna! It was so good we ordered it three times! I took my wife for her birthday, who has never been, with our daughter visiting from Italy and her college roommate visiting from New Zealand - they couldn’t stop talking about how good the food was and both agreed it was the best they’ve ever had! The place is packed so a reservation is a must! Get there a little early as parking is street paid parking! If you love real authentic Japanese food - hot or cold - and you don’t come, absolute shame on you! You’ll thank me!!

Lovely place! They have a nice inner patio with a small Japanese garden that they do utilize for seating, but it really adds another level to the atmosphere. We were there on a Saturday for our anniversary, so they were packed but it was still easy to talk to each other. The sushi rolls were delicious and the sushi was also very good. Would highly recommend!

We had to take out since there was no availability. They still have a very nice seating possibility in front of the restaurant to eat or wait for your order. Even though preparation seemed 40 min for my order, the host has been very helpful and we received the order in 20 min. Everything was tasty with high quality of ingredients. I wished we could have sit inside in the green patio area. Parking is extremely difficult since the area is busy. You need to consider to pay for parking.

I was dining solo and got a seat at the bar right away during dinner rush which was a huge plus. I found the service unfussy yet good. Bartender made me a custom cocktail per request and it was better than I was imagining.
I got a sushi roll and the pan fried black cod, which were both delicious.
Oh, and the 90’s music made it that much better! So happy to be able to walk to this spot. Will be back.

Best place in town for rolls! Ordered the Momiji roll, three devils, geisha roll, and four kings. The three devils and geisha rolls were my FAVORITE. The pork appetizer was a 10/10 too. The place has a great illusion of looking so small but being taken in the back you realize how much the place opens up and there’s a little garden. Just an overall great experience!

Our visit to this restaurant was a delightful experience. We indulged in their specialty rolls and refreshing drinks. The "Tokyo Girl" drink, infused with orange blossom, was a standout and thoroughly enjoyable. Among the three rolls we tried – "Mr. Perfect," "Geisha Roll," and "King of Fighters" – the latter two stole the show. The "King of Fighters" and "Mr. Perfect" rolls offered a captivating blend of flavors that I highly recommend trying. We sat in the garden and that added an extra layer of beauty to an already wonderful dining experience.

Perfect for date nights! Service was nice and efficient. Food was delicious, loved the crispy rice with scallop. They have a lot of stylish modern style sushi rolls. And the environment is very clean, simplistic aesthetic, and dimly lit. Parking around the place is a bit tough though.

Got the grilled garlic short ribs and the crunchy Seattle. They were good! The short ribs were extremely flavorful and a must have if you go. The crunchy Seattle (salmon, avacado & cream cheese) was good but there's likely better rolls that I'd try next time.

My friend invited me to Momiji for the first time during happy hour. I was a little worried because I’m not a big seafood fan and Japanese food tends to lean towards seafood, so we asked our awesome server Deen to surprise us with a different array of options for us to try. We tried the short ribs with a spicy salad, ginger chicken, the coziest pork soup and surprisingly enough the crispy rice tuna was my favorite….I didn’t even think I liked tuna until then. The drinks were delicious too. One of my favorite new places in Seattle, gotta bring my husband to try the sushi because it looked beautiful. Fantastic service, presentation and ambiance 10/10!

Came here with a friend from out of town. We didn't have a reservation so we arrived at 4pm right when they opened. We were seated right away, right next to the cute little inner-courtyard Japanese garden.

We ordered jalapeño hamachi, calamari, special kama(hamachi), ultimate dragon roll, and the tarantula extreme roll. Everything was delicious !

For just the two of us, our total was about $120~. It is a bit on the pricey end, but service wonderful, and I absolutely loved the ambiance here. Definitely will be back for date night with the hubs.

The waitress was super nice and they were slammed. Gave a 4 cause I wasn't sure what we did wrong to make the host irritated. Food is super good though. The sushi omakase I wholeheartedly recommend as well as getting a soju fashioned.

This is the best experience for Japanese food.

Parking is on the street, and finding parking in Cap Hill is tough and sometimes impossible, but it is worth it. You will need to make reservations since lInes form even before the restaurant opens.

Food and service are equally at the highest level.

Midas 5-stars for a dining experience to celebrate a special day or a special person.

You can never go wrong with Momiji, this is my favorite sushi restaurant on the west coast, and everything on the menu is worth trying. If it’s a nice evening, ask the host if courtyard seating is available, it’s first come first serve for those seats…be sure to book a reservation though, it’s a popular spot!

Best crispy rice and albacore I’ve ever had! The albacore melted in my mouth! Super fresh and tasty. The crispy rice was actually crispy and made to perfection.

The jalapeño yellowtail was refreshing also and we had one specialty roll which was good.

Suggest this place to sushi lovers! It was amazing! I was pleasantly surprised
