Tye's Nails & Spa (Tips & Toes Salon)

I’ve been here twice before today and both times were great. I’ve sat with Linda and Tye! I will show all pictures of their work! Today was my third visit and I did not have an appointment, which they do take walk-in’s however I was weary cause normally I do have an appointment. Everyone deserves a chance to show their skills so Ofcourse I go with the next lady who was up next..but right in the beginning she was on her phone and on it the entire way to her chair and seem less than interested in even doing my nails, her file was so rough it was unpleasant and she would tug on my hand like they were never in the right position for her.. even told me to relax a few times… the vibe was just not right with this lady. She made me tense! Just be cautious of who you sit with because I pointed out that the shape was not matching an how my nails had looked thick and I simply did not like them. I got the impression that it did not matter to this lady( I did not get her name, as I totally turned away from her behavior towards me) to sum all of this up … I asked for someone else and Jessica came to the rescue !! I appreciate you taking me to your chair and taking care of my nails! Thank you! Short, light shade of pink is Jessica’s work!
Neutral pink was work from Tye, not the best pictures there but I still loved his work as well! And the magenta pink was work done by Linda! It shows when your nail tech enjoys what they do!

Everyone at Tye’s is friendly and the service is amazing! I love the wide variety of services they offer as well as the quality of my nails when finished. They do an excellent job! Great place to go!

Last weekend I got my nails done for the second time by Amy and I'm literally obsessed!!! I'm 26. I've been to the nail salon a handful of times. Each salon was different and every single time I left unsatisfied, until now. I never thought my nails could actually be pretty like the pictures I see on Pinterest all the time, but Amy worked her magic and I don't think I can trust anyone else to do my nails but Amy now! She's meticulous has a good eye and my nails look perfect! 10/10 recommend will be going back :)

Great job here! My daughter's nails looked great too! Very quick for the well done job as well! (Edit-3 weeks later) Dip nails with tips-My daughter and I returned again 3 weeks later and the two ladies that helped us did a horrible job. We didn't take pictures. It was for my daughter's birthday and we were exhausted by the time we left because it took so long. Our nails were thick and jagged and crooked. My daughter's nails weren't filed underneath so the bottom edge was all rough. We asked for them to be short because we type and they did not cut them the right length. We had to ask to have more cut off and they still didn't cut off enough. I asked for one of my nails to be straightened and she either didn't understand me or she just shrugged me off but she definitely didn't listen and anytime I said anything she shrugged me off. I finally just gave up and decided we just would make sure we don't get these two again. On my receipt it says their names were Cindy and Kim. My daughter and I both had to cut and file our nails down before we could work on Monday. I ended up prying off my nails a week and a half later. Several of my nails were hurting really badly. I figured out that it's because they were adhered to my skin and now several of my cuticles are very very damaged and I have very deep painful hangnails from this. Definitely, I will take the name of someone that does a good job in the future and only go to that person. This has been a lesson! I had the best nails of my life the first time I went here and the worst of my life the second time. One of the most painful, rough manicures I have had!! My daughter's nails were very bumpy and pitted. Mine had a gouge in two of them. I didn't notice until I got outside.

Really good work for the price! Definitely more of a simple design place, don't expect lots of fancy stuff but simple stuff is awesome. Staff is really nice and the place is pretty. Definitely recommend. I go 2-3x a month!

This was my first experience at this salon and I will be coming back! Great service and prices. I usually do coffin style with tips, but I decided to go with my natural nails and was not disappointed! ☺👍

I absolutely loved the staff! Everyone was super nice! They have conversations with you while they’re doing your nails! Which I love and everyone has a great attitude will absolutely be returning

I got a dip manicure over three weeks ago. This is by far the best and most durable dip manicure I’ve ever had. I will definitely be back!

In all honesty, these people do WAY too good of a job. My current romantic interest got her nails did here and she has become far too powerful. Just when I thought she had attained perfection, she improved on her looks even further. I don't know how much more I can handle, she's SO HOT!!! To all ladies who wish to look almost as gorgeous as she does, I say to you: Get there today!

Been here several times and everyone is always nice and professional. Yesterday while my daughter was getting acrylic nails, she passed out (low blood sugar and chemical fumes perhaps). Scary episode but the ladies jumped up right away and were helping me with her. I can’t thank them enough for their kindness and concern. And then of course my kiddo wanted to finish her nails which turned out exactly like she wanted. 😁 Great service, great people.

It was my first time going here... It was great, my nails and toes are beautiful! The last 2 places I've been ha e done a horrible job but Tye's did an amazing job! This is my new go to place!!

I had tye and another gentleman. Dip manicure and shellac pedicure. Both did a fantastic job and they look amazing. I will definitely be back! Staff is incredible.

Tye’s Nails & Spa is hands down the best nail salon I’ve been to in the state of Iowa. The staff is beyond friendly, respectful and make you feel like family. They’re all smiles and they are very dedicated to happy customers, a professional experience every time along with your choice of drink including wine for those who want the extra kick while pampering themselves. I give this place 5 stars because of the cleanliness, professionalism, respect, quality of service and staff. Will be going back very soon! Any male in the salon goes above and beyond on your nails.
