Gilroy's Kitchen + Pub + Patio

So good! The cheese balls were great. The pic of them was taken after we already ate several. Tenderloin was huge, full of flavor, and very tender. Fries were good and nicely cooked. My friend said the wings were also great. Glad I discovered this place.

Great selection of food, everything we got looked and tasted great! Huge tenderloin, yummy hot chicken and delicious Buffalo BBQ chicken pizza. The cheese curds are 👌🏽Tasty Drinks and friendly service. Large outdoor seating and we had live music (which has its pros and cons depending on how close you are).

What a wonderful spot! I had a delightful ginger salad and my wife had a scrumptious GF Philly cheesesteak sandwich!

From the moment we walked in we were greeted with a smile ear to ear. We had our 8 month old and he thoroughly enjoyed Holden.

This is my new go to and if I have a choice ,Holden to be our waiter Everytime! 6 out of 5 stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Aaron was an amazing server. His recommendations were spot on. The daily special chicken gyro was tasty and my favorite the Honey bacon Alfredo pizza was the reason I came! Perfect! Even Carl the owner stopped by to talk. I love Gilroys. The construction is an inconvenience yes, driving around the construction is worth it! YES! Brunch is even more worth it!!!

Gilroy's has such a good vibe. The bartenders are all super cool and friendly. The regular customers bring a good time as well.
Their Sunday special is $10 pizzas. They were so delicious.

We have been hosting our events at Gilroy’s for some time now and the food has always been served hot and delicious and my team and our guests are always served with a friendly smile! I have been in the service industry my entire life, and the service has been above and beyond my expectations! Holden especially; one of the greatest managers we have had the pleasure to work with over the past year. He has such a servants heart and has been spectacular to work with!! Not everyone is tech savvy, but he is always there making sure our events go off without any hitches, glitches or challenges!! We will hosting all of our Money 101 events in the Des Moines area at Gilroy’s!!! Kudos to you and your amazing staff!! Cheers!!

Our family of 5 had such a great experience at Gilroy's for a Saturday morning brunch. Our server Dominic was the best! The food...oh buddy! I would most certainly recommend the loaded mashed potatoes, corn flake French toast, cinnamon roll bread pudding, and the biscuits and gravy. All of the portions were solid and you can just keep ordering so much! They let you box whatever you don't eat. Highly recommended for the cleanliness, service and atmosphere. Good music as well!

I'm from Oklahoma. The first time I came here was for a graduation party two years ago and I had a blast. The food and drinks were excellent.

I happened to be in town again this week and had to stop by for old time's sake. The ribeye was cooked as requested and perfectly seasoned. The moscow mules were as good as I remembered. 10/10 will do it again.

We went to Gilroy's for the first time last night. We had a question about an old coupon we had and one of the off duty managers Holden overheard us and stepped up to help and answer our questions. We ordered two Wertz Burgers. I can tell you they were absolutely amazing. From the plate presentation to the amazing flavor they were the best I have ever had. The service was great and the atmosphere fantastic as well. We will definitely be back.

This was my first time to Gilroy's and the Food, Atmosphere, and our Server were great. I think this place holds the best burger in town. I had the Wham Bam! Bacon Jam and the patty itself was perfection.

My reason for the 3 star is their varied menu pricing and lack of resolution. Their online pricing for drinks does not match what came on the bill. We had two Traditional Moscow Mules in the Standard and Party Bucket sizes. On their online menu it lists the prices as $8 and $16.50, however on our bill it came out $9 and $19. We notified our server who got a manager. The manager came by and said their prices just changed and the prices haven't updated yet, but the price is valid and then walked away.

I don't understand how an establishment charges more than what's posted and doesn't honor the posted price. I understand it's $3 but it's an annoyance and comes off dishonest.

Edit: Changing to a 5 star based on the owner's response. I understand it's difficult to train staff to make the same decisions you would in your absence.

Just happened upon this place on Sunday with my friends and boy what a wonderful surprise! All you can eat brunch was amazing, everything was delicious, fresh and hot. The waitress was super friendly and knowledgeable and will definitely go back again!!!

First of all our server was great. We got the appetizers and they were all good. It was just a solid afternoon of service and food.

My only comment would be that the shrimp and andouille sausage could be a little bigger and the broth a little thicker. Or maybe serve it with a dish of rice?

Came here for a buddy’s birthday for bottomless mimosas and food. Wound up sticking around for almost 4 hours because the staff was so fun and friendly. Arianna and Holden were the best! GREAT vibes, awesome food (go for the bottomless if you come with a group and plan to stick around a while), and endless drinks for $16?? What’s not to love?

My daughter took me here for my birthday brunch. Delicious! Awesome service! Great and fresh food! Would highly recommend the brunch!!

This place is amazing. I loved being able to choose a bunch of different things to try out. Everything we ordered was really tasty and we didn't have to wait too long. I would absolutely stop here again. It may be a little spendy for some, but it was worth it.

Went here for dinner, and it was a very good experience! The burgers and fries were very good, and my dad enjoyed a jambalaya pasta dish. It wasn't super busy, even though it was a Saturday night, which we appreciated. Good service and pleasant atmosphere! Would go here again!

Had an amazing brunch, only thing I wasn’t a fan of was the fried chicken and parm scalloped potatoes. Unlimited mimosas and great food! The brownies are to die for and so are the loaded red potatoes 🤤 will definitely be back

This place has great menu options for breakfast. Their crispy red potatoes are seasoned and delicious. Basic menu items are great but move over to other side for more complex dishes. Pancakes are large and fluffy. So perfect. Yum!

Wow. Didn't know how great your Sunday brunch was until we tried it out. Great selection and service. Loved the family style approach rather than herding through a self service bar.

We made reservations for a wedding party and it didn’t get put on their end but they got us all seated right away and made it work! Our waiter was very friendly and had such a great attitude! Food was very good as well and for such a big party everything came out so close together and was still hot!
