By far the best car buying experience I’ve ever had! The salesperson that helped me, Cory, wasn’t pushy or intimidating like I’ve experienced in the past with other dealerships. Their inventory was very accommodating to my budget and Cory was able to find multiple vehicles for me to look at and test drive. Thankfully we were able to find something just perfect for me. I’ve been to many different car dealerships in the past but Shottenkirk will be the only dealership I buy from in the future!

The guys in service are always welcoming and have positive customer service skills. I appreciate the quick service, recently outside of regular maintenance and oil changes. Chance is also very helpful and polite with customer calls and concerns!

I went today with very little hope of actually leaving with a car just due to being through this multiple times before, but with the help of the amazingly supportive staff- Travis P, I left in a new car, same day. This guy was genuinely kind and did everything he could to work with my financial needs in order to help me. I have never had a nice thing to say about a dealership but after my trip here today, I would absolutely be a return customer. I am immensely grateful to him for his help!

Dave Balke was the greatest to work with, and was very straight forward and honest with me as we went through this process. He explained all of my options - leasing, buying used, or buying new - and took the time to talk through everything with me, and answer any questions I had. There were several others I spoke with during my time there, Astrid was one of them, and they were all incredibly friendly and helpful as well. Mine was kind of a tricky situation with the vehicle I had then, but they were able to work with me, and I got to drive home a 2024 Trailblazer!!! Dave also took the time to sit and explain all of my new vehicle's features, and also walked me through connecting my phone to it. I had a good experience. I had very specific requirements for my car. I started a purchase over the phone from out of state. I finished it when I got there. I got exactly what I expected in a used car (allowing for some wear and stuff too small to show in the pictures). I was pleasantly surprised that the vehicle had lots of the stuff you'd expect to be lost over the years (Engine covers, console tray, manual, etc).

This was my first time leasing a car. I was apprehensive towards the whole process. I was raised if you don’t have the cash, you don’t buy it. I was intimidated by salesman and my lack of knowledge when it comes to leasing a car. Thank God I found this place. Jacob made the whole process easy and made me feel comfortable right away. I love my new Tahoe. Thank you Jacob for making my first experience leasing a vehicle easy and enjoyable.

Bruce was fantastic to work with. We have leased for over 10 years and Bruce was one of the best that we have ever worked with. He had great communication, follow-up and overall, very easy to work with. We leased two cars at the same time and were in a time crunch and Bruce, and the Waukee team, did all that they could to get us in and out of the dealership quickly. Great team there and we will be back in the future.

Dakota made the buying experience fun! He kept in contact we me for several weeks prior to my appointment date regarding the vehicle I was interested in. They were fast, friendly and the kids enjoyed the drinks/snacks! Will be back when in the market again!

Astrid Garcia , Travis p, Allen, AMAZING people. Never had a better experience at a dealership than I did here. They all fought super hard for me to leave happy. Astrid did some amazing math skills and helped with my budget. Travis was very patient and fought for me. Allen was very sweet and fought for me as well. They all did an amazing job I will definitely be back in the future and I’ll be sending all my family and friends here for sure. They are also pet friendly and loved my dog :)

The salesman was extremely friendly and helpful without being pushy. Jacob was able to find the truck we were looking for and every part of the buying purchase was easy and enjoyable. We are very happy with our purchase and we look forward to working with Jacob again in the future.

Great people and great customer service. Timely response getting back to me with the information I requested. Both employees I spoke with, Jason Wells and Alex Plotz, were extremely knowledgeable about the process and the product and made the purchase an easy decision. I bought a 2015 Chevy Silverado. And I love it. The whole process went smoothly. My wife and I had a family gathering we had to get to that afternoon so Cory and his team got all the paper work ready for when we returned later that day. I’ve dealt with enough of sales man to say it not always a good experience, but, Cory was fantastic! He didn’t try to pressure us, he found us exactly what we said we wanted. He took his time in explaining the warranty and put no pressure on us what so ever. This is our second vehicle from this same dealership, and when we are ready to upgrade and buy another we will definitely be returning when that time comes. Highly recommend!

I worked with Tom Powell and had a phenomenal experience purchasing a 2018 Chevy Colorado. I received a great deal on both my trade in and for the price of the new vehicle. With a sensitive nose I noticed a slight odor from the previous owner and Tom worked with his manager and detail team to get the truck in immediately for an overnight detail with ozone! They provided a vehicle for the day for me to drive until my truck was ready and I am so grateful for the work they did and they accommodations they provided. I highly recommend this dealership!

I had a good experience. Levi was extremely helpful and easy to work with. Samir was very knowledgeable and made the process painless.

My husband and I stopped in to Shottenkirk Waukee to look at a specific truck. We were immediately greeted, and within 10 minutes were test driving the vehicle. Cory was professional and respectful, as well as very personable and helpful. I work for a credit union and came in with my own financing. I didn’t feel that I was treated any differently because I wasn’t financing through them directly. Cory, Travis, and Astrid from finance were sincere and direct, without pushing us in a direction we weren’t comfortable.
