I noticed on Sunday that the top of my water heater was getting rusty and found it to be strange so I googled it. Turns out it was not venting properly and letting the dangerous gasses in my house. I have always installed my own but wanted a professional this time due to the problem. I called Holt on a Monday afternoon and they came out Tuesday morning. I got a quote that I felt was very fair, with zero pressure, to do the job and I was scheduled for Wednesday morning. Installers showed up at 8:30 am, on time, and put down drop cloths from my front door all the way down to the water heater. Since the new installation required a power vent, a new pipe had to be ran across the room and out the wall. By 12:30 the new water heater was running and they cleaned up everything exceptionally. You would never know that they were ever there. The guys were very polite, knowledgeable, clean cut and did a perfect job with a lot of attention to detail. I am so glad I made the call. Most professional contractor I have used in 20 years.

Holt was able to handle our plumbing repair the day after we called. Our technician, David, was very professional and friendly, answered questions honestly, and went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied with the repair.

I rarely hand out 5 star ratings but Holt is more than deserving of this lofty rating. I recently replaced my old furnace, air-conditioner, and water heater. I literally got next day installing. The no pressure sales rep answered all our questions and the 3 installers were quite efficient. It was a big expenditure but I am well satisfied and would highly recommend Holt Plumbing.

Adam was excellent. My garbage disposal stopped working. It was jammed and he fixed it in 10 mins. He gave me tips on how to prevent it. Holt is a reputable local company that I can always rely on to help me.

Rob always does a great job. He’s very professional and extremely knowledgeable, which is the reason why I request him for any Holt service.

Trenton was our service tech at today's 6-month heating system check-up, and I just want to say he did a great job. He noticed that the wiring for our humidifier wasn't configured correctly so we were not getting any humification. He fixed that and took the time to explain how to operate and maintain the system. He was punctual, knowledgeable, and congenial. It was a pleasure to have him for today's service! Thanks Holt!!

My water heater went out and normally my dad and brother can come save my day but this time they couldnt. Holt is now the only company I will work with when my family can’t help. Their team was ethical, forward, timely and efficient.

I had a diagnostic appt, the guy who showed up was super friendly and knew his job. I thought I’d just have to replace the thermocouple, but due to west Des Moines water sediment i needed to replace the whole thing… Holt came through for me by getting it done the same day. A second team came, worked hard, efficient and clean with no hiccups. While i got to sit back and relax on the couch. Knowing i could trust them.

As a woman I have often been heckled working with men, buying cars, getting services or installations done- not this company. Everything was straight forward, and I knew I could trust them.

Dave did an outstanding job. He was on time and completed the job very efficiently. He had everything he needed in his truck and was in and out of my home very quickly. He was also very pleasant courteous and professional. Holt did a great job getting someone out to my home right away. I have used them before and have always had a great experience. There are extremely professional and you can tell that they care about their clients and their business.

Dave and Brian were very friendly and did a very professional job and completed the project in one hour. I diagnose the problem incorrectly and they found ithe real problem and fixed it quickly.

I have trusted Holt for air conditioner and furnace service for years! As a Holt Member, I can expect great service twice a year--once for air conditioner and once for furnace/humidifier. I appreciate the timeliness and professionalism of Holt's service professionals such as Tyler, Matt, Justin, Brad, Ben, and Trenton. UPDATE: The priority service with the service plan came through again! The furnace stopped working and in less than 24-hours we were back up and running. Trenton was knowledgeable and thorough in troubleshooting and repair.
