Dragon's Den Oriental Kitchen

Finally got to try a Chicken Katsu Curry dish last night and really liked it. Definitely recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a good halal Chinese restaurant to go to with friends family. Can seat upto 30-40 people.

A friend who had their food several times recommended this restaurant, so four of us went there last night around 7pm and the restaurant was busy. The restaurant was nice and simple looking, which I like and is family friendly. The staff were polite and professional in their ways and handled all the orders well, even though they were busy.

We ordered their Dragon's Den Special Beef Fried Rice with Black Bean Sauce, Chicken Katsu Curry, Tom Yum Soup, Salt & Pepper Platters and Prawn Toasts. The food portion sizes were very good and filled us up well. The food was served in good time despite being very busy and the food came out all good. The food had that homely food feeling.

Anyone thinking of coming to this restaurant, the nearest station is Whitechapel Underground which is on the District and Hammersmith lines, then it's a 5 minute walk from there. For car parking there are pay display bays around the area along with residents bays where the restrictions end at 7pm.

This is my new favourite restaurant in London and arguably the best East Asian food I have had in UK till now. Last time had their Special with Fried Rice and Szechwan Beef, both of which were phenomenal. This time we had the Beef Udon and Salt and Chilli Wings and both were amazing as well. On top of that their portion size is huge, price is reasonable and I really appreciate the NHS discount as well. Will definitely be coming here again in the future.

Now one of my favourite Chinese restaurants. Nice and simple menu with plenty of variations. Food is fresh and with quick service too. If you’re Bengali you’ll enjoy the twist in your food.

Absolutely delicious, authentic and piping hot pan Asian food. Big portions and served piping hot!! 10/10 Would definitely recommend and will definitely come back!

Little China in East London, absolutely loved this place. It’s been along time since I have enjoyed a meal outside of China Town. If you are looking for a place that serves amazing fusion foods, then this place is it! We ordered food for three of us but it it was enough for at least four adults. Can’t wait to take the rest of the family and return soon.

Such a lovely and authentic place to eat! Everything is halal and this restaurant is HMC certified. Food was very lovely and reasonably priced. I'm not a massive fan of prawns however the prawn wontons were delicious! The beef udon noodles were nice and so were the salt and pepper chips. We also had the katsu curry which I wasn't a big fan of but it was made well.

This is a nice modern, clean and calming small restaurant which has a simple menu with quality taste and very fast service. Couldn't fault it. We ordered the mix starters, chicken dumplings (very delicious!) the dragons den special and chicken udon noodles. Everything was neatly presented and the portions were quite generous. The food was served very hot. I'd recommend giving this place a try!

We dropped in simply because we just wanted some Chinese food. And what a nice surprise. Portion sizes, quality of food and value for money was on point. We had chilli and salt prawns and the pad Thai with a starter of soups which were lovely.

I love the food at this restaurant. Food arrives very quick and it tastes great.
Only a few mins walk away from Whitechapel Station.

Was pleasantly surprised when we were taken to this place by friends. There was a good amount of choice on the menu. We ordered the Chicken Hofun Noodles which had great flavour. The service was prompt and friendly. An added bonus was that all the meat was halal. Would highly recommend if you’re in the area

We fell in love with this place because you really get quality food. Yeah, maybe you pay a bit more compared to other places, but believe us, the food is worth every pound.
We stayed at hotel next door and ate here three times in our three nights. The people were authentically friendly. The food was fresh and goooood. We tried several dishes and even got to take plenty in boxes to go. They are generous too. So, if you want genuine Asian food (mostly Chinese food) to ramen noodles and prepared in both traditional and modern styles, you want to go here. Even the fact that there are people in line during lunch rush is a good sign of good food.

We loved it and will come back and/or visit other locations of Dragon's Den.

Normally not an oriental fan but have to say this place- The food is exquisite. The chef blended the all the spice to perfection when I ordered the Singapore fried rice. The beef, chicken and prawns were deliciously cooked.

Service of the waiters are customer orientated. They make you feel comfortable.

Would recommend anyone to this place for a good oriental cuisine.

This is a Very nice Restaurant. There service is very good. There food is very yummy & tasty. Specially there chicken udon & Dragons Den Special,Tom Yum,Chicken Katsu Curry,Mixed Starter,Chicken Soup,Prawn Toast,Pad Thai, Prawn Crackers, Chicken Wnings,Sesame Chicken.

Definitely recommend this place 10/10. no pork and everything is Halal. nice and Clean place, service is very good, food looks and taste excellent 👌. Got mixed starter and king prawn chow-main decent size and Dragon's Den Specials. Waiting time 5mins only 😉

I’m first time here and very happy I found this hidden gem. The Singaporean fried rice is very tasty and filling. Haven’t found any good one like this in London. The price is decent and the dining environment is great. Clean, quiet and spacious. Would highly recommend this.

Good place but the chicken dumplings were missing so got veg however wasn't too nice. Also chicken and sour soup wasn't good but the chow mein s were amazing and salt and pepper prawns were good also very generous with portions so I still give them 5 stars. Also they gave amazing chilli oil sauce will come again

A great little place in the heart of Whitechapel. The food was hot, fresh and really really tasty. Good menu with plenty to choose from, you can mix and match to suit your tastes and there are great affordable options. Portion sizes are on the large size so bring your appetite!

Alhamdulillah. The food is really delicious. Staff are very friendly. Really nice environment in the restaurant.

Everyone must try....

This is my all-time favorite place near the Whitechapel area when I'm craving for noodles. They're open until 11pm and they accept last orders till 10:45pm. Udon noodles is my favorite, and they have a pretty decent menu when it comes to ordering starters or main course. I have tried their prawn crackers, vegetable spring roles, Hofan noodles, and Udon noodles. A must try place if you want to taste a little more spice. The quantity is good enough for one person, and they are quick at serving. With the cost-effective menu, a nice seating area and music, this place is worth a try.
