The museum itself is a masterpiece of architecture, captivating me even more than the art pieces housed within. The design is cool, making it a standout in its own right. One highlight was the breathtaking view of St Paul's Cathedral from the upper levels of the museum. I highly recommend taking the time to explore the entire building, it's an experience that goes beyond the art collection, adding an extra layer of appreciation for the thoughtful design and layout.

One of my favourite places in London. If you like contemporary art - Tate Modern always has different exhibitions and open every day (even on Mondays when most galleries closed)

If you plan your visit during a short trip or vacation in London I would recommend to book tickets in advance.

Great option to subscribe and get National Art Pass in advance - with this pass you get 50% off for paid exhibitions.

I was there today it is really nice and free to get in. But you can choose to make a 5 pounds donation if you like. It also has wheelchair access and a shop you can buy souvenirs. Plus an amazing art gallery and friendly security guards and staff. Plus it is really big. It is also a good place to take the kids or to look around if you are into art or just want to explore. The Building is really beautiful and has an upstairs too. It is also next to the river with boat rides and boats going past outside plus there is loads of places to eat in this area and and bars near by and coffee shops.

What an amazing collection of art pieces! Keep aside a few hours if you want to explore the whole museum, it's definitely worth the time. A must visit if you are in art and creative things.

My husband and I have visited Tate Modern twice, each time for about two hours. Overall, we both really enjoy it. They seem to change out the primary exhibit in the main hall pretty regularly and both we've seen have been interesting. The art also seems to change some throughout, while other pieces remain and are fun to see multiple times. The space is well organized and items are well presented. There are also many places to sit, as well as cafe on one of the upper floors. Overall, a great place to visit, especially because it's free! No ticket reservation required.

Excellent place to go discover non conventional art. Be prepared to walk as the museum is HUGE! I didn’t even finish seeing all the free exhibits. I would recommend going through the free exhibits first before you decide if you want to buy tickets for the others

Superb venue if you're interested in contemporary art. The Yoko Ono exhibition is both current and a time capsule with some engaging interactive elements and short films

What a place, some of the exhibits were mind bowling. One room was a tower of old radios each playing something different, some talk radio, some music. Really overwhelmed me in a great way. Hats off to the artist.

A pile of sand was a real cracker, made me and my daughter laugh a lot.

Even the free collection gives you a chance to see many interesting art pieces. Also, I've never seen such monumental art exhibits displayed inside a gallery.
During my visit there were exhibits with nudity, so it's better to supervise your children.
The giant building of the gallery is impressive by itself inside and outside. On the bottom levels, where storage tanks used to be, you can still catch a whiff of generator oil that has been stored there.

Great building and very interesting art. I was visiting the second time and love the exhibition. Most of the gallery is free so you do not have to buy a ticket. There are small coffee places I especially recommend the one on the rooftop with a nice view. Will visit again!

This time I visited only free exhibitions and I still left my heart in this place …. Those huge spaces where you feel like a tiny particle…

Go to the lift and then to the 10th floor to enjoy the view of London. Lifts will take you forever 😂 but the view was great!
Please read the signs and don’t take photos of the residential buildings.

Exhibitions are always interesting.
But I for some you need to book ticket way in advance. So this is definitely a place to plan beforehand.

Shops are great - I found so much presents for my friends’ birthdays.

Anyway, enjoy and I will be reading your feedbacks on this place:)

A great selection of modern art. Beautiful architecture. Easy to get in compared to all other museums even during a crowded holiday season.
If you get hungry try the restaurant upstairs. I was not expecting this amazing view and delicious food.

I wish I had more time to wander through all the exhibitions.
Normally, modern art, especially abstract, is not my cup of tea, but I found it very enlightening, maybe even educating. If art can make you think, it's done its job.

Free to enter, also for tourists. The museum is in an old power building, which makes it a cool architecture. There also is a café at the top, with a great view. The art itself is, of course, great as well, with some really interesting pieces. Some parts of the museum require a ticket, but there are a lot of things to see and experience for free. Stop by if you are into modern art or in general new experiences!

Relaxing morning out. Great exhibition. Home of modern art. Can leave bags and coats in the cloakroom. Cafe available for refreshments. Give around two to three hours to get around the entire place. Plenty of helpful staff around to answer questions. One of the places in London for a free visit, there are paid exhibitions on certain floors where tickets can be purchased.

Really interesting place, with a lot to offer. You can get lost easily - 2 hours at least if you want to really see, explore and enjoy. Whole place is futuristic and obviously artistic, but not as with many “cold, sterile” museums nowadays… Definitely worth checking out! One of my favorites in London.

Well worth a visit if you are in London! Just across the river from St Paul’s it has lots to do and with free admission it can make quite a cheap day out. Some attractions are ones that you have to pay for but in my opinion the free collection has just as good art.

Always good free exhibitions and reasonable prices for the exhibitions that are chargeable. Great book selection in the shop too.
The pop art exhibition was really good and very informative on the history
