It was brilliant got all my cleaning and bathroom products and all for 20pound so good

I have to change my below review:

As much as I am happy about having a Poundland shop so close to where I live, it is absolutely useless. Who on earth came to the idea to offer so much food in this shop where there is a huge tesco just opposite, tesco express 1min away, and a few small convinient stores all around. This is absolutely illogical and proves stupid planning. I cannot believe the store offers fat-making crisps on about 5 shelves adding to this country obesity but it does not offer any DIY stuff that I cannot find cheap in the area. So when I went to buy paint and nails they did not have it, when I went there before Halloween they had nothing, they have barely any christmas decorations but a lot of food (mostly unhealthy one that you can also buy in other shops). It is crazy stupid, it is useless.

The food prices are so high right now, I am so glad that this shop is open!! There is no rational explanation for grocery stores being so greedy (hello from an ecomist here!). I am happy I stopped buying the stuff at tesco that I can buy at poundland. The staff at poundland is always super polite and helpful, and so are the security men. I would just suggest giving them a chair so that they can sit by the door

Is great and has the best cleaning products.
The limescale removal spary and the baking soda spray are the best I had ever tried and I am an advanced cleaner.

This store is always bustling with people. they have excellent bargains on brand names and wide choice. When it comes onto cleaning supplies they are number one. Better offers then Tesco or Sainsburys because of the price.

Ideal to shop for all sorts at great low price(s): food, drinks, snacks, toiletries, make up accessories, home/car accessories and has frozen food options. I would reccomend this place.

Finally a Poundland in Whitechapel/Aldgate area. Perfect for the cost of living crisis. Shelves are full of awesome branded items which in nearby Tesco, Superdrug and Sainsbury's would cost three times more. Fantastic! The staff are doing their job and are polite. Not sure what the negative comments are on about…

Good for the basics but don't expect a large range as it's small and food heavy.

What they say about taking a trolley basket is true I picked up so much stuff I needed one.

Excited that a Poundland has finally opened in such a central area! All the people commenting about empty shelves - yh everything’s selling out cause people are excited there finally a Poundland here and it’s a new store so they are still figuring things out smh
