The V&A museum is an absolutely breathtaking place that truly captures the essence of culture. Its stunning architecture and impressive collection make it an ideal destination for anyone looking to immerse themselves in art and history. I must say, the museum's food options and proximity to public transportation truly enhance the overall experience. The beauty of this place cannot be fully captured in the pictures attached to this review. It is a truly stunning museum that must be experienced in person to be fully appreciated.

The place is beautiful! You can spend all day there, fancying paintings, statues, photos, jewelry , fashion collections, etc. And you can rest and have a snack in the garden cafe or in the cafeteria inside of the palace. I enjoyed being at the museum very much, will come back with my family

The V&A is an amazing place to visit; although I always feel a little lost in there. It’s enormous and just packed full of stunning displays, collections and exhibitions.
We were hoping to see the theatre collection but at the time of visiting the area had been closed because of low temperatures.
Instead we explored other sections including some of the jewellery, silverware, stained glass and tapestry. The V&A is definitely somewhere that you could visit multiple times and still have more to see.
There’s a really lovely atmosphere in the museum and the ground floor where you will see many people sketching us always packed. My recommendation would be to go up a couple of levels where there are fewer visitors and then you can soak up the atmosphere and really enjoy your surroundings.

Such a beautiful free museum! Loved the layout, openness, and the courtyard. It was cool to see artifacts towering over. I would also definitely recommend the CAFE- such yummy choices.

I love this museum, it's been a few years since my last visit. I looked around the jewellery display and the stained glass. Followed by coffee and passion fruit tart in the café, ending with a look around the gift shop. The building itself is beautiful and there's a great selection in the shop. Unfortunately I didn't have time to do anything else I would have liked to look around the Egyptian display. Well worth a visit.

This is a huge museum. According to the person on our mini guided tour, if you walked the whole museum, you would have walked 7 miles.
One doesn't have to pay to enter. There are some special exhibits that you pay to see, but the main area is free. We were there for almost 3 hours and only got to see a part of the first floor.
I would recommend this museum. But give yourself plenty of time (or go back again) if you want to see it all.
We ended the day with a snack at the Cafe. This was packed but I enjoyed a prawn roll and a salad, with a cup of tea. Not inexpensive, but it tasted good.

This place is free and they encourage a donation. We didn’t have to book any tickets to get in.

Lots of really cool history and the jewelry showcases were so beautiful. Probably the highlight to the place in my opinion. The giant pieces are all very crazy to look at.

Fantastic way to spend a day exploring the many levels of collections. This allows to find amazing collections you would not expect. Shame the theatre section was partially closed. Its free entry and one of the best museums to visit.

While the square footage of this museum isn’t the largest, it’s filled to the brim with historical and cultural exhibits from England’s past.

I especially appreciated the theatre exhibit with tiny people figures hidden through the rooms, and the original costumes from a number of hit shows.

The best artistic museum in London, the curating of the art pieces the organization of different divisions making the visit so immersive and exciting. I recommend plan your visit time to be at least 2-3 hours, that’s the minimum time you need for a decent look at those gorgeous treasures left over from the history.

This museum is right next to the National History Museum so plan accordingly. This is a beautiful museum featuring many displays from Asian derived to other European items. All items are displayed wells and with appropriate decorative style befitting the time period. Overall, this is a very well stocked museum with many interesting items. Good experience.

Awesome place. Lots of things to learn from and be part of the history which we never will be able to experience personally. The museum is located very close to underground. Loads to learn and explore from. The details are intriguing not only for children but anyone who’s interested in learning a bit about our planet and its inhabitants. A must place to visit.

Speechless. To think a museum of this caliber is open to the public, free of charge is amazing. The museum is simply huge. It is impossible to visit everything in a single day. You can have an overview of the place, but if you're into appreciating arts and reflecting over it, it will take you a few days to go through the entire museum. Definitely want to go back there.

A fantastic day out.
Entry is free but some additional exhibitions are chargeable and sometimes tickets are available when you are there, but best to book in advance.
There are plenty of galleries to wander around. The cast court is my favourite. The items in here are huge.
The cafes are popular and expensive but worth it just for the atmosphere.
When in this part of London, visit the Science or National History Museums to pad out the whole day.
I have been coming here for 40 years or so and see something new every time.

I spent a lot of time in the Fashion exhibit, and paid the extra 20 for the DIVA! show. Well worth it. Also went up to the nearly people-free 4th floor for the beautiful ceramics on display there. Visited the furniture section as well. Pick a few topics and concentrate on enjoying those, you can't do this museum justice in a day.

Brilliant Museum with brilliant collections . There are so much to see. Enjoyed every minute of it. The staffs are very helpful and friendly. Good location about 7/8 minutes waking distance from South Kensington station with disable access and clean toilet facilities. Also the Museum have a nice garden and cafe where you can have food and spend a quality time. And it’s free. 10 out of 10.

Lovely time at the V&A museum and gardens in September! Wonderful exhibitions and collection and lots of food options on site. Charging devices were also easy with power outlets in the lobby.

Definitely worth a visit. Apart from the special exhibitions, the museum was free of charge. The place utself is huge and the art you can find there is amazing!

I was amazed by the room filled with old casts.

I did not pay for the special exhibition but you can just peek in and see if the extra pounds are worth it for you.
