It was an amazing experience. The WoWs came one after the other with the speed of a sub machine gun firing. It offers a captivating blend of entertainment and education. Its diverse exhibits, interactive displays, and commitment to showcasing scientific advancements make it a must-visit. This is one of the perks of London, excellent free museum for all ages but especially for kids. Reservation is necessary but you might be able to book on the same day depending on the season. Donations are welcomed but you can also spend your money in the different paid exhibitions inside, cafes, shops, ... It gets busy but is so big that it feels ok. Next to other 2 free must visit museums ...

This was an interesting visit. I enjoyed all of it, especially the space exhibition. I can really recommend booking in advance to skip the queue. And like most of the museums in London it’s totally free! I booked my ticket 30 min before arrival.

Great museum to go! The museum is huge and has lots to see! The space section is great! We joined a free tour of the airplane history and the guide is very detailed and knowledgeable! Even the food is great from the cafeteria inside the museum. There are many snack bars and areas on every floor. In addition, there are fun games for the kids to play so bring your children along and they will have a great time!

It is the best place for kid to spend a day there. A lot of stuff to keep them busy and entertained. There are 3 different floors you can explore. We walked in on a Saturday morning and there was no queue. Ah there is one thing You have to stay close to your buggy all the time. You cannot even put it 5 meters away from you otherwise there will be someone to INVESTIGATE it.

A must visit for everyone who likes science. A great place to spend with kids and educate them. Lovely exhibits with great information. IMAX 3D space move is a must and an amazing experience. There is a shop and play area for kids for a charge. Entry is free. However, booking a ticket in advance is advisable to avoid long queues. I would recommend using a locker facility to avoid carrying jackets and bags.

Such a fun and interesting day! There is SO much to see here no matter what your interests are. I loved the space exhibition so much. If you are a fan of the space and the universe then you have to come see the exhibition, it is the best! Even if you are not into space, I highly recommend coming here. There is so much to learn about all sorts of topics. There is a huge room about planes and flight which is very impressive. They have life sized planes of all different types including war planes. There is also a cross section of a Boeing 747 which was so interesting. Every section of the museum is great and you learn so much from coming here. The staff here are nice and friendly and are always happy to help you. There are public bathrooms and food outlets all over the museum . Admission is free and I highly recommend coming here.

I have taken our daughter (5 plus) a couple of times to the Science Museum to do different things. First time it was Wonderlab and second time it was Turn it up. Both times our daughter enjoyed it immensely. There was so much to learn and apply, not only for children but us adults too.
The place is kept very clean and immaculate. The team managing this are very customer centric even on a busy rush day.
The cafe options could become better, but I go there for science :).
Very much recommend to others!

Absolutely Brilliant. Great Space and Aircraft displays and brilliant old telephone/telecoms section. Great facilities with cafes in several floors and toilets and disabled facilities since I went round with my sister in her wheelchair. Great for kids with plenty of interactive exhibits

This Science Museum in London is the first science museum in the world and one of the most spectacular science museums I've ever been to. From gliders to airplanes, fighter jets, and helicopters, it showed us how humans project everything we learn from birds into our imaginations and make the best out of our potential. From aircraft to aircraft, satellites, spacecraft, unmanned spacecraft, manned spacecraft, and rockets, it presents us with human beings who have never been satisfied with the height of the sky, persistent and challenging their limits, it is also the spirit of unyielding challenge, so that our science and technology can progress again, and gradually have the power to explore the universe. A close look at the Apollo 10 return capsule and the Apollo 11 lunar module replica are stunning. I missed the Winton gallery this time, so be sure to check it out next time.

Really enjoyed the museum. It had many things to do from its sensory play section for kids to its gaming station and all the different levels. The cafe was a nice spot for my little one to catch a little break. We opted for a kids' meal box, which, to my surprise, was a very good price considering the location.
We spent two hours at the museum, including breaks for my daughter, and managed to fully complete two levels.
My personal favourite was the flight section with all the planes and engines, and my daughter enjoyed the space section with all the lights and sensory play at the end of that floor.
We hope to come back soon and discover the floors we missed.
I would recommend giving yourself a good few hours to really experience the museum fully.

The museum is huge. You need at least half a day. For best, spend a day here. There are lots of interactive features. Admission is free but you have to reserve tickets from their website for desired time slots. There are lots of bus and metro lines to get there. Overall we enjoyed our time and we are a bit sad that we don’t take enough time for it.

What a fabulous museum. You can see Charles Babbage for calculating machine, Isaac Newton books, Enigma machines, etc. There's so so much to see, a great place for kids too. Several coffee shops and lockers in the lower floor.

Masses to do. Interactive activities, free guided tours, free entry. It's just wonderful for adults and children alike. So much is covered, the industrial revolution to space travel. I found the section on medical history very interesting and a look back at home appliances including the actual cooker model my grandmother had in her kitchen. There are some pay for attractions if you can afford to pay around £10 pp for them. Discounts are available for families.
There are plenty of places to eat,expect to pay around £6 for a mini baguette and £3+ for a coffee ☕
There are plenty of toilets on the various levels.
You'll need a minimum of 2 hours to do the basics but tbh,you could spend all day here.
The natural history museum is next door and the Victoria and Albert museum is a 2 minute walk away,they are free too!

"I liked the museum, although I regret that two floors were under maintenance. Nevertheless, it's interesting for science enthusiasts. I enjoyed the most the part about space and how astronauts handle missions, etc. The museum is conveniently located near the underground, which is also a positive factor."

Great day out to the London science museum. Lots to see set on multiple floors. Well worth a visit, although it does get busy at times with school trips.
On the main tube routes only a short walk away.

This place definitely needs to be visited, whether you are a kid or an adult. You will find here lovely science objects, people, and an interactive way of understanding these objects and how they were invented, developed, or perfected.
The last time I was here, it happened more than 10 years ago. I can definitely say that they were adding new things and the museum is also concentrated on future technologies too!

Pretty impressive place, thoroughly enjoyed by my science enthusiast child. Something for everyone, spent nearly 5 hours here, plus it's free. Nothing to dislike. Great experience
