Beautiful, elegant gardens adjacent to Hyde Park. The pond and stream make strolling here extra special. Wildlife abound. Princess Diana’s memorial playground makes this an ideal destination for families with children.

Beautiful place to take a walk whether it's rain or shine. There's a nice little cafe near one end by some fountains, with restrooms nearby. Can use a tap card for 20p to use the toilet. Peter Pan's statue is worth a picture.

A giant, well-maintained park filled with statues and ponds. Kensington Palace sits at the west end and offers tours. Lots of people walking their dogs, people running, and tourists exploring.

What lovely gardens to have a picnic, walk about, and read a book by a shade tree. If you love birds like myself, this place is even more adorable. There are tons of swans, and other birds. We even saw a black swan! You can just sit there and birdwatch for hours and watch as the swans preen themselves. I had a great time in these gardens and the decor is so beautiful. It was really close to our hotel so it was a great walk for us.

Beautiful area and gardens. Lots of families and dogs enjoy the great weather and beauty. It is a tribute to the area that so much parkland has been kept to be enjoyed by all.

Kensington Palace is an enchanting slice of London’s history and royalty. Nestled in the heart of Kensington Gardens, this palace offers a captivating journey through time and the lives of British monarchs.

From the moment you step through its ornate gates, you’re transported to a world of opulence and elegance. The State Apartments are a highlight, showcasing stunning period rooms with intricate details, luxurious furnishings, and exquisite artwork. The King’s and Queen’s State Apartments offer a glimpse into the lives of William III and Mary II, and Queen Victoria.

The palace also pays homage to the late Princess Diana, with the touching Diana: Her Fashion Story exhibit. It’s a moving tribute to her style and her humanitarian work, making it a must-see for admirers of the People’s Princess.

The Sunken Garden, located within the palace grounds, is a horticultural masterpiece. Its vibrant floral displays change with the seasons, offering a serene place for reflection and photos.

Kensington Palace’s historical significance, stunning architecture, and the way it blends the past with the present make it a captivating destination. Whether you’re a history buff, a royal enthusiast, or simply seeking a taste of London’s grandeur, a visit to Kensington Palace is an unforgettable experience.

Kensington Gardens is one of London's eight Royal Parks and is spread out over 265 acres. It is beautifully maintained and easily accessible by tube. There is a small cafe near the entrance that leads to the Italian Garden, and the toilets are next to the cafe. There is a 20 pence charge to use the toilets, and it will only accept credit or debit cards. The garden is a calm oasis from the hustle and bustle of the city. It's a great place to hike, walk the dogs, or bring the kids on a day outing. If you walk towards Kensington Palace, the exit near there brings you onto Kensington High Street. There are plenty of dining options on the high street.

What an amazing space to be able to enjoy in the middle of London.
I never knew this:

Kensington Gardens has been separate from Hyde Park since 1728, when Queen Caroline divided them.

The gardens is full of open spaces, tree lined avenues, shaded spots for a picnic out of the sun, a huge pond and many statues to admire.

You’ll cover a lot of distance getting around here and totally love it

At every turn, there's something incredible to discover in this frankly gorgeous garden filled with wonder. What struck me most was how well maintained the place is, with immaculately manicured lawns and hedges, conveniently placed benches, clear signposts to direct one where they need to go, the dos and don'ts of the garden, etc. Come on a glorious sunny day and you'll have a day filled with wonder and awe and curiosity at every turn and leave the hustle and chaos of everyday life behind for several hours. Great for families, couples, friends and just about anyone with a sense of the unexplored and the untamed.

Beautiful gardens and it's so good to see so many people and dogs out using the parks. They're well maintained. Without Google Maps I would've gotten lost as there's a lot of crisscross walkways.
So cool to see squirrels (Don't have them in Australia) but some dogs were chasing them when they probably should've been on lead.

The gardens are really beautiful, there are a variety of birds and also squirrels and a beautiful lake. Princess Diana's garden is very beautiful and worth a visit, I do not recommend paying entrance fees to the palace because there is nothing to see there! A palace that displays designer clothes that celebrities have worn at all kinds of events really disgraces the place!

What a beautiful place ! We didn't get a chance to explore it all as we were just killing some time waiting to go to an event. But it really is lovely. Everything is well kept , and the statue of Albert is breath taking . We didn't get to see the Peter pan statue or the Diana memorial garden . So I guess we will have to go back for another visit and enjoy some time there .

This park is located next to Hyde Park and is as good as all English gardens and parks. You can always come here and relax, lie down or sit on the grass, listen to birdsong and see local animals.
Magnificent flowers and bushes, trees, palm trees and green lawns.
There are many sculptures in the gardens, there is a fountain, a pond with swans and ducks.
But its most famous landmark is the red brick Kensington Palace; several rooms of the palace are open to the public.
Admission is free throughout the park, but entrance to the palace costs £24 per adult. Unfortunately, we didn’t get there because we were in the park late.
I especially liked the squirrels, which are almost not afraid of people and can be fed by hand.
The park has children's playgrounds.
A very large and varied park. A pleasant way to relax and enjoy nature in the city center.
