Hy-Vee Grocery Store

Full stock grocery , bakery , meat section, pharmacy. “ there is a helpful smile in every isle” rings true as the staff is polite and helpful.

I am giving your store 5 stars because of one employee: Terrell who works in Dairy. He was the 5th person that I asked to help me find John Soules brand of chicken. One person told me "meat". Another, "frozen". Two more said they were sorry but had no idea.
I found Terrell stocking in dairy, asked him, and he was determined to find the prodcut. He did not leave me alone to wander around, as I had already been for at least 5 minutes.
It was like the HyVee service from years ago.

Hang onto this young man. He understands customer service, is energetic, and diligent. And, he smiled!

PS: The canned response from HyVee is annoying. I'm already a PERKS member...would have preferred no response rather than a grab for more business.

A very good place for all
kinds of grocery! They also have some very good food options. They serve Stir Fry, Asian, Pizza, Burger and some more food options! The grocery and produce options are huge. The prices are very reasonable.

My sons would say their favorite things would be the cutomer in training shopping carts!

Jillian is the most rude individual I’ve ever encountered at at HyVee. Apparently frustrated that their USPS machine was down she appeared increasingly frustrated by the fact I also had dry cleaning and couldn’t brush me off. Very disappointing experience.

I go here to take my cans and bottles back because their machines take cans and bottles both at 1 machine and they take a good majority of the cans I collect. The workers closing up at 7pm have been great as well letting me finish putting cans and bottles through till I'm done even tho it's holding them up from closing down completely for an extra 5 or 10 minutes. Only complaint that I would have is I wish that they would stay open later than 7:00 p.m. for the cans and bottle section.

Really big store & very busy. Got coupons for a free box cod & a package of crab meat. They are helpful when needed.

Fresh produce is my go to here! Produce manager always greets me and is very friendly!

Stop in here once a year for lunch when I'm in Iowa. Good place for lunch, had a salad, cheeseburger and tots. Enjoy the Market Grille

I love West Lakes because it's not huge and has more of a neighborhood feel than a big box feel. 👌🏼

Very helpful. I was going to a football party and needed some game food. I got a dozen egg rolls. They only had half a dozen, so they needed to make some more. It only took 5 minutes! Also got a dozen Crab Rangoon. Everyone loved them. The left overs were great warmed up the next day.

Deli counter is certainly plentiful. Very helpful staff in all departments. Store is clean and well laid out.

I enjoy shopping in the health food isles. Love the ten percent off on wellness Wednesdays. The store is always clean and well staffed.

Chef Alex took care of us for lunch today and was amazing!!! Let the kids make their own shirley temples and was very attentive. Got some extra noodles for our daughter without even asking. Definitely a great people person! One of the best waiter/bartenders we’ve ever had.Thanks Alex! We will come back even though we live almost 2 hours away.

Yes to electric car chargers! (Currently just Tesla, but once Tesla gets its act together, then chargers also for our Kia! Niro!)
