Hy-Vee Grocery Store

As you enter you are greeted with sheer cleanliness and a well organized store with a variety of common and specialty products. There is help in most aisles or an employee a voice away who cheerfully helps you complete your random grocery list. My favorite section is the specialty cheese area—knowledgeable clerks. But what I miss the most is that friendly smile in every aisle because in this day and age it is needed. I love shopping HyVee where there is help in most aisles!

It is abysmal. I went in there to get a cake for my son’s birthday party. When I asked the people at the deli to write a message on it they never did. Their selection of alcohol is also very limited. The only good thing about this store is Mandy who works at customer service. She always has a smile on her face! She’s one of the only reasons I’m giving a 3/5!

This is the prototype for full service grocers to follow. You could take a date to their dining area and impress her! If you can't find it here, talk to the staff. Always willing to help.

I lost my phone and CC (she is one of the managers there) called me an UBER as I couldn't because I didn't have my phone. she not only called an Uber she actually paid for it for me. She said" I know your having a tough Day" and she just wanted to help. Unbelievable customer service and a great person thank you so 🙏 much cc and Hy-Vee

By the fastest I've ever been through a hobby picked up everything I needed. Note Hy-Vee. When you only have one Checker and there's multiple people in line behind there and you use a self-checkout. There should be a place that we can enter our phone number because not everybody carries a Hy-Vee card on them at all times. Other than that everything went perfect today except had to wait for associate to come put in my number. Not only isn't that a waste of time for the associate that has probably more hurting things to do besides taking out the trash.

Using Hy-Vee rather than Walmart more often. Wal-Mart prices are going up and the store itself is really disappointing.

I like the new store layout and find it makes sense even though I had to read the Aisle signs until I get used to the layout. I had a fantastic checker and bagger. They were friendly, communicative, never once said anything negative and were very efficient at the same time.

I am seeing empty shelves at every store but there were definitely less empty spots than anywhere else.

The store was clean and free from debris which is hard to manage at a busy store but the stickers were picking up as they went to make the debris less hazardous and shoddy. I was pleased with my findings except 1 item. The Driscoll strawberries were moldy one day after buying them so I wasn't very pleased with that but it's probably why they were fairly inexpensive.

Friendly people. Very helpful and kind. Good prices and good quality foods. Meat department is especially impressive.

Great customer service and good selection of food.

I ordered a birthday cake to be delivered to my daughter and the Hy-Vee bakery staff did a excellent overall job. The cake was made exactly as I ordered with an over the top design with the decorations. My daughter attested that the taste was as excellent as the look of the cake. I order the cake from out of state and my local bank caused problems with my debit card being used out of state. The Hy-Vee staff work with me to overcome this bank issue. Quality service throughout the entire process. Excellent job Hy-Vee bakery people!

Eating is great at HyVee again since they figured out Eating at a grocery store should be fresh, cheap, and tasty. Whomever dumped millions in to trying to be a hip sports bar/restaurant must have been fired by now. Good, tasty, cheap food is back!

I'll need to get photos of our next buffet so I can share them, but I wanted to note how good my experience with this location has been. I work for a large company, and we do catered lunches for our employees every Thursday. This Hy-Vee location has been perfect to help with this large task. My main point of contact has been Colin, but I have talked with many of their staff members and everyone has always been extremely professional and kind. They have always listened to all of my requests, and have perfectly executed every order down to the minute that I asked them to arrive (note, they have three stops for each of my orders and we're feeding 250+ people each time). That's no small feat.
So far, we have done a "Hy-Chi" bar and a taco bar. Both were HUGE hits with our company. The food was clearly fresh, and I received many compliments on the flavor. They even go the extra mile, and provide us with a vegan/vegetarian option so all of our employees can enjoy the lunches that they provide.
I have personally stopped into this location and found it to be a reflection of the people that work there. It's very clean, organized, and well managed with a friendly employee base.
I would strongly recommend them if you have a catering event that needs coverage, or even just for everyday shopping. I'm very happy to have found a partnership to make catering on Thursdays a much simpler task. :) - A HUGE thank you to all who make it possible!

This is a good Hy-Vee. Big enough to have great variety. Small enough to get in and out. Friendly staff is always a plus.
