Good place to go for bargains, routinely find gems, some are over priced if you are trying to resell maybe look around, that is not their 'mission' to give things away. Last month I resold items I no longer 'wanted' for 10x their purchase price. Pull your head out and look around. Best time to go is around 2:00 'til 3:00 for 1/2 price.

I‘be been coming to this thrift store for a long time, and it has always been pretty decent until recently (have they gotten bad new management who is overpricing stuff?) . The prices have gone way up, and things are way overpriced now, and they are price gouging people for things that were donated for free. Today I saw a used very basic dinged up & scratched electric fireplace that was for 400 dollars (that was “clearanced” because the original price was 600!!) talk about bonkers!! You can literally go buy a brand new one on sale at a retail store for less. A heavily used, scratched, chipped and badly burnt Dutch oven for 40 (I bought mine brand new at Walmart for that!) A picture of a house with a wagon for 120 dollars. Used kids toys for 26. A vase for 60 bucks, a used coat rack for 75. A used worn out couch for 200. Basic cylinder white candles that are small for 3 bucks that are all dented up. Have the people who price these things out totally lost their minds? This stuff was given to them for free and now they are price gouging people. I not only used to shop here, but would also regularly donate because I love the idea of someone else who may not be able to afford something or on a tight budget (or heck even who just loves a good deal like me) to be able to get something nice for a fair price, and the proceeds go to a good cause. Now I will probably not be donating as they are unfairly price gouging people now and it defeats the purpose of part of the reason why I donate (and I’ve donated a lot of really good stuff in great condition). A lot of these items you can buy new for about the same price, so it looks like I will be thrifting and donating my items elsewhere now until they come back to reality on their prices.

I used to shop at the Cornerstone Thrift Store regularly. I stopped in there today and was not impressed. For a place that all of their items are donated to them, they are outrageous on their prices. Even at half price things are over priced.
