Staple & Spice Market

Was in town for work and wanted to check this store out. I'm glad I did! Everyone was super friendly and welcoming. They have a vast variety of things to choose from. Hopefully I'll be back in town and see everyone again. Try one of the Alternative Baking Company cookies, they're tasty and Vegan!

I love this store! Their staff is awesome and knowledgeable and welcoming. They have great products including many local favorites.

We aren't frequent fliers here but every time we do stop we always find what we need. Friendly people, great products and the perfect setup makes it easy for us at Graceful Touch massage therapy to navigate through the various shelves of merchandise.

What a fantastic natural foods store & market, all kinds of great selections of teas, spices, frozen & refrigerated foods, natural remedies and interesting drinks. These folks are pros, and such great people. We are lucky to have this place. The wonderful smells bring me back decades, just walking in.

LOVE this place! large selection of loose leaf teas and other herbs. The staff was very helpful in aiding me in my selections. The prices on the loose leaf tea is very good. I bought several small batches of local teas to sample and everyone is high quality and tastes great. I do not have a place like this where I live but will be stopping here each time I visit my son.

I mean no disrespect to anyone who has had a bad experience there, but, for me at least, my experiences at this store are nothing like what you describe. I've been there twice now and both times they have been absolutely wonderful in helping me. I have a really bad stutter, so I often have a hard time articulating what I need. Both time they helped me find what I needed and didn't seem put out by inability to tell them exactly what I needed. I don't see the store the bad reviews describe. Staple & Spice is a wonderful store and I recommend going there.

I stopped in to restock my herbs after some friends recommended the place, I'm glad I did.
I'm not sure why it never occurred to me!

The other little local shop in the Hills that I used to buy my goods from doesn't carry loose herbs anymore. They only have pricy prepackaged teas & designer powders.
(Granted I hadn't been in there in over a year.)

I was in the Staple & Spice for quite a while~

I probably did 2 laps around the store & 4 trips down the spice & herb wall.

I felt like a kid in a candy store:
An incredible selection containing items I'd resorted to online stores for; valerian root, white willow bark, licorice root.
Herbs were grown & dried very well; things smelled wonderful & weren't dingy colored.
I'm especially impressed with the vividness of the calendula petals. 💛🧡

My mom was waiting in the car, she said she was getting ready to come in & check on me.

I literally piled up 10 jars on the counter. 😅

The attendants were extremely patient & fun as I was overwhelmed by my options.

I went in here a few weeks back on a Saturday during a pretty unbusy time of day. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful in getting me the things I needed for the food I was cooking. The staff was also incredibly knowledgeable about what spices and herbs went with what foods, which was a great help to me as a relatively novice cook. If you want fresh herbs and spices at a great price, look no further!

I don't know what to think about all of the negative comments about the staff. They are not accurate pictures of this store at all! I have been in there many time! I look forward to opportunities to stop in when we are visiting Rapid City. They have a great selection of reasonably priced products. All of the staff have always been friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about their products. I will continue to look forward to opportunities to shop there!

What a wonderful atmosphere, I'm always greeted by the friendly employees the moment I walk in the door. Now compared to the big grocery stores in town you'll find that the prices are substantially higher here but with that being said you probably wont find half of the items they sell here at the bigger stores.

They have found their niche and this is why they've secured the future of their business and the loyalty of their customers.

What a wonderful store! Well stocked with all of your needs and the customer service was second to none. I have a few health issues and they set me on the right track. Definitely five stars plus...
