Colonial House Restaurant & Bar

We had an absolutely wonderful time for lunch at Colonial House! Windy was our server and she provided us with incredibly hospitable and kind service. The food was DELICIOUS. I ordered the Hot Turkey and just about wanted to lick the plate clean when I had finished. My husband ordered the Sonic Ranchero Wrap and he enjoyed it as well. We will definitely be returning to Colonial House in the future (partially because I did not have room for the amazing looking pie this time).

Mom and I went to the colonial house for my birthday lunch, and it was awesome. I ordered the primerib dip. The meat was tender, moist, and very full of flavor. The hogie bun was nice and soft. I also had a bloody mary . The bloody mary was perfect, one of the better ones I've had at a restaurant. I added a picture of the bloody mary. So good. I recommend the colonial house. I almost forgot to mention that our waitress was great, happy, friendly, and very helpful.

This place was recommended so I took on the Challenge. For Breakfast I had CH Breakfast which had 2 eggs (cooked your way) Corned Beef Hash (choice of Hash, Bacon or Sausage) Hashbrowns and Pancakes (or choose your type of toast)

The eggs were cooked perfectly, and were fluffy. Served folded (much like an omlette). The Corned Beef Hash, had some diced onions, and had a nice crust from the grill. Hashbrowns were perfectly cooked golden brown. It came with three "small" Fluffy pancakes which were the size of a young child's face, or grown man's hand.

With drink, it all totalled just under $20. Waitress was friendly, and kept drinks full. Food was served very quickly.

When leaving, I took a peak at their desserts (made in house) and picked up the Peanut Butter Crunch. It is a 1 pound dessert of mostly Peanut Butter, a Layer of Chocolate, and what seems to be Potato Chips for the Crunch. If you are a double stuffed Reese's Cup lover, you will certainly love this.

If you are in the area, I would certainly recommend this for breakfast. I certainly hope you enjoy as much as I did.

Amazing food. We stopped in for breakfast and everything was delicious. Our table had the blueberry Danish, frittata, caramel French toast and steak and eggs.
Service was fast and friendly. Recommend taking a jar of vanilla caramel sauce home.

Great breakfast. They had a QR code you could scan at the table for allergens. So helpful. It's hard going out to breakfast with an egg allergy. They made it so easy to know what we could order. Thank you! Also have a freezer full of dinners and desserts to take home. Had the caramel rolls. So easy to heat up and taste amazing.

This restaurant seems to be fantastically managed. It was packed out on a Thursday when I went in, but the atmosphere and waitresses were completely calm and organized.

All of the food came out hot and you can tell that ingredient quality matters to them. I also highly recommend the coffee.

Overall, I was really pleased with my experience here and will definitely be coming back next time I’m in town!

Love this place! We were visiting from out of state and were looking for a good place to eat. Service was fast and efficient. Our server Tracey was very friendly and attentative. Prices were very reasonable for the quality of food, which was delicious by the way. Talked to a very charming couple next to us who gave us ideas of where to site see. Would absolutely come here again!

I went to breakfast with a friend of mine, and the service was outstanding and very quick, and they got us in and out of there and no time at all, and their parking lot was completely full! That is awesome customer service! and the food is to die for! They have frozen dinners in the lobby for you to buy and have for yourself at home for a very reasonable price! It is truly home cooking!

The food is always above Par! I previously went and had mentioned to the waitress that I would need a caramel roll to go before I leave. She mentioned turned that they go fast, so she would bring me one right away so I have one. I thought that was awesome! I’ve never had a problem with waiting for a seat because the food is always good and all the staff are friendly and helpful! The eggs Benedict is amazing!

Really enjoyed the meal. Also bought a frozen meal and some soup to take to our college kid.

My family and I ate here on the last day of our vacation and it was so good!! The service was great! The atmosphere was good. The restaurant was very clean. I was very impressed with the quality of food! I had a veggie omelette with bacon. It was delicious & just the right size. My husband loved his sausage and eggs. I highly recommend checking out this restaurant.

This place is great! Super tasty and excellent service. I got the lasagna special and was so glad I did. Plus, the ham and cheese bread didn’t sound great to me, but I was so wrong about it - I gobbled it up!

I was very impressed with our Colonial House experience. We were in and out within an hour. Our server was great. The restaurant has a local feel, but the aesthetic was fairly modern. We were served bread with oil and vinegar, and it was fantastic! I ordered steak finger strips with fries and a side salad. The steak fingers were crispy and well cooked. I barely touched my fries. The salad was good, but a bit different. It included lettuce, a piece of celery, a baby carrot, two slices of cucumber and a piece of broccoli. I'd recommend stopping in here for a bite to eat.

We had heard of a "great Café" near the hospital. This is it! Homade touches of goodness make each dishe unique from anybody else's. Try a desert you've never had before, like the Fudge Square!!

This place us so awesome. The walleye was cooked perfectly, the sides were fresh and tasty. Heavenly desserts and even took a pastry with us for the road. The pastry made a great lil breakfast. Wish I lived closer. We stop here by a recommendation of a friend while on vacation. This place will not disappoint.

Very friendly and helpful compassionate people here. My daughter and I walked in to wait for the bus because of how cold it was outside and the staff was more than welcoming to allow us to sit and wait inside the lobby and stay warm!! Thanks guys! You're doing a great job!!

Windy was an absolute server. Enjoyed every moment with her. She took so good care of us, and set us up to get to the cancer center!! As always, we will go back on regular basis.

Come here and enjoy the locals favorite place to eat! The Oregon berry pie is yummy!
